Foulbog is a charming traditional shepherds cottage set on a working hill farm in rural Dumfriesshire. In a very remote location surrounded by rolling hills, with spectacular views down the valley. Although completely remote and secluded, this cottage has been recently refurbished with a cosy homely feel and has all the modern amenities needed including unlimited WiFi, luxury shower and log burners. It can be a parkland golf course, mountain bike trails at the 7 stanes, camera obscura, a farmers market, restaurants, children's play parks, hills, rivers, forest walks and much more. Dumfries' museums are also treasure troves for uncovering the local history including Robert Burns.

Our chalet is in our large, well managed garden. While it is near our house and we are happy to chat, we always respect peoples privacy. This is a very peaceful place where you can sit outside and watch the flames of the fire pit at night or stay in and have a cosy evening. Our neighbours are all of the four legged variety so some countryside noises are to be expected but the cows love to come and greet you at the wall. Parking space in garden
