Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Ærø

An all-around wonderful place to stay! We had 4 nights with 4 nights, with hyggeline oven on the terrace and fire basket in the adjacent meadow. We have recovered very well through the tranquility and the sea. Everything was very tastefully decorated. 20 minutes away is Svendborg, a cute little town, which we enjoyed once. It was just too nice in the house for more things to do. Anne and Ulrik are excellent and likeable hosts. We'd love to come back!!

Very nice and tastefully furnished holiday home. No unnecessary things and super cozy. The winter garden is particularly beautiful and there are also opportunities to sit outside. The water is a short walk away and offers a jetty with stairs into the water and a small beach. It is wonderfully quiet there. Fåborg and Odense and also various islands are nearby for excursions. Very lovely and easily accessible hosts. We fully recommend the property.

The house is well located and beautifully decorated with many fine details. Please note that you must bring your own bed linen and towels.

Nice house, especially kitchen all room worked well. The kitchen had everything needed to make a good meal, the dining area was cozy and intimate with plenty of space around the table. Beautiful floating sofa in the living room. The bathroom on the ground floor worked fine. Nice terrace, which we did not get to use due to the weather. The house is highly recommended.

We had cool days. Great location between the beach and the city, 1A sea view while barbecuing and frog paradise in the garden pond. Flowers in lavish abundance, rhubarb and herbs from our own garden.

I had a great time in Fynshav. Close to the beach, bike/hiking trails right outside the door and a small supermarket just around the corner. Perfect location to relax and unwind. The accommodation was very clean and cozy - you felt right at home! ☺️ Everything was as described. The house also had documents with restaurant tips and a map of the area. I'd love to come back again - it was great! Highly recommended! ☺️

We arrived a little later than planned, but as soon as we stepped through the door, we were greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere - Helle had made sure to turn on cozy lights, and that made us feel welcome immediately. The place exudes charm and coziness, and it is clear that love has been put into the details. Helle is incredibly welcoming and was always ready to help quickly and kindly if we had questions along the way. It made our stay extra safe and comfortable. Malene

We were greeted by Sophia, who showed us the outdoor living space. We also greeted her parents who live on the ground floor, they were really nice. It is a fantastic apartment and it corresponded exactly to the description. We spent a lot of hours on the sofas, with the beautiful view. We can only recommend others to stay with Sophia.

Pia’s apartment was perfect for our weekend stay. It has everything we needed , was light and airy , including a beautiful view. I would like to stay there again.

JF is a wonderful communicator with great humor, love, and support. The accommodation feels like home again. We used this place for four of us to celebrate our wedding, and it was an amazing spacious place to kickstart the most memorable time of our lives. Thank you so much for the comfort and beautiful setup of your home. Shops, cafés within walking distance! this home will make your stay the most comfortable one.

Everything was as described, the location ideal for excursions to Kappeln or to the Geltinger Birk, which we could easily manage by bike. These could also be easily parked in the courtyard. Super comfortable bed, great renovated bathroom, what more do you want? We were completely satisfied and would always head back to the Ankerplatz!

We stayed with Lars and Gitte from Friday to Sunday - and it was a real pleasure! The apartment was fantastic and with lots of personality and coziness. All the details were taken care of, and we immediately felt at home. And the view! Being able to enjoy the morning coffee with the view of the water was completely magical - both inside and outside. Lars and Gitte are amazing hosts, and we would love to come back!

It is simply always a highlight in this accommodation. It is perfect for a visit to Kappeln and I would love to come back.

We had a great stay at Tine's place! The space was clean, well-equipped and had ample space for a young toddler. A very peaceful location in close proximity to the coast and easy driving distance to Faaborg / Svendborg. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a classic experience in the Danish countryside!

Super nice place. Exactly as in the pictures. Jens Christian is the world's nicest host and we felt very at home and well taken care of.

The old Skovby School Building is a fantastic property with three houses in total and a beautiful garden. Lots of room to sit back relax, light a bonfire, fire up a grill and enjoy your stay with the friendly and helpful hosts of Sanne and Jørg.

It has been a really nice stay in Johan's apartment. Fantastic location right in the middle of the city and close to the harbor and close to lots of eateries, cafes, inns, etc. I could not see in the listing that there is a roof terrace, but there is and we enjoyed it to the fullest in the sunshine. There is plenty to see and experience in the area and we did not have enough days for everything we wanted to see and experience, so we will definitely come back. The only thing we were missing was an ice cube tray, so we could get ice cubes in our drinks on the roof terrace☀️☀️ And the cushions could do with an upgrade😉 Johan responded quickly to my inquiries, so it was good service. Maria is a great host. The place is uniquely beautiful with good opportunities for cycling and hiking. As a guest, you have access to Maria's garden, which is wonderful and breathtakingly beautiful.

Cozy apartment with fantastic views of the water. Great area for walks. Quiet location with good distance to Sønderborg, Augustenborg and the area's attractions.

They were beautiful days at the property. The area is also beautiful and the people very, very friendly! Unfortunately, it was a bit difficult to get into town from there. Unfortunately, the buses didn't run a few times, so you had to walk, or the taxi had to call. So definitely better if you have your own car with you! 🥰

We had a great stay, would book again.
