There is plenty of storage space. Upon request, we are happy to provide an additional mattress. If you want to warm up something, you can do so in the kitchenette. The fireplace will provide you with a cozy warmth on cool evenings. In the courtyard, you will find a fire pit. Additionally, you can relax on the cozy terrace with a view of the azure sea, perfect for outdoor meals or relaxed evenings with a glass of wine. Heidi's Barn, Franschhoek

Situated on a small holding 5km outside Franschhoek, opposite the exquisite La Motte Wine Estate, Heidi’s Barn offers the perfect self-catering base from which to explore the Winelands. A fire pit, outdoor dining area and a large swimming pool (shared with one other cottage) are perfect for summertime relaxation while an indoor wood-burning fireplace and wooden floors throughout make for a cosy winter escape. The barn runs on mains power with solar back up for load shedding.

A mountain retreat for artists, lovers, writers, gardeners, hikers, birders, farmers, adventurers and all in pursuit of peace and beauty. Please note: 4x4 or capable high clearance vehicle required. Getting here is part of the adventure! The farm is only 5km off the R62 but this is a gravel mountain pass that requires the right vehicle. If you are travelling in a normal car or small SUV please reach out to make alternative arrangements for this last part of your journey.

Nambu House

Nambu House is a contemporary two bedroom, two bathroom safari house just two hundred metres from the Kruger National Park fence. Nambu means river in the local Tsonga language. The house sits on a green belt within Marloth Park where there are no houses allowed to be built, this gives Nambu lovely privacy and wonderful nature walks. The house has an upstairs terrace with uninterrupted views of the African bush and partial views into the Kruger National Park.
