We enjoyed a fantastic four days in Aris’ place, the views of the plateau and mountains are just beautiful! We felt right at home, and it was lovely to have Aris and his wife physically there at check in, a rarity these days! The images really don’t do this place justice, it is up some winding roads but we were prepared for that having visited the plateau in 2012. We can’t recommend staying here more, we really wish we’d have booked a longer stay! Aris had a fantastic hire car recommendation too, which was also great, and we had some amazing recommendations from them too. Thank you very much Aris!

Very very Beautiful Apartment and a Yard just for yourself to use and hang out. Perfekt for Couples or Families. There is also a small village with a little shop for some quick shopping. But in 30min you are in Heraklion and at beautiful beaches. Also Georgia is very kind and looks after you! Would def recommend and come back :)

We had a wonderful stay at the villa, starting with a warm welcome on our first night. Antonis’ mother kindly prepared a thoughtful dinner for us, which was especially appreciated since we arrived late and didn’t have time to go out for food. He was also incredibly attentive and made it clear we could reach out to him anytime with questions or needs. Throughout our stay, he provided us with great recommendations on what to see and do in the area, which really enhanced our trip. The villa also featured a lovely outdoor pizza oven, and they generously provided us with pizza dough, firewood, and everything we needed to enjoy it. They even made sure we had everything we needed for a barbecue. Overall, it was a fantastic experience thanks to their hospitality and thoughtful touches.

We stayed as a family of six, four adults and two children (8 and 5). The set up was really comfortable and worked perfectly for us. The outdoor pool area is great and our two kids loved it - especially as there were lots of inflatables left to play with. We arrived at 3am. Xristos offered to meet us, but when we suggested with young children we'd prefer just to get in and get to bed, then meet up after it was no problem at all. We had instructions to call when we arrived, and the gate was opened for us. We were blown away by how well supplied the house was. Xristos was in touch in the week before to check if we needed anything in particular and couldn't have been more helpful in making sure we had everything we needed to start our holiday. Then we had a delivery of local fruit and wild artichokes as they were in season. Amazing. There was a dust storm before we arrived. Xristos promptly sorted this too. A great and relaxed place to stay, with an unbelievably good host. Thanks!

We had a super time with Stefani and Antonis. The villa is super, the pool was warm, the area quiet, and the view down to Herssonios and out right to the mountains was lovely. We chose it because it was walking distance to some shops and restaurants. The village is lovely and a short 5-10min walk from the villa. We were at the very end of the season, so many of the restaurants in the village closed, but we always found somewhere to eat. Herssonios is a longer walk away (maybe 30 mins) and has supermarkets, pharmacies, and restaurants galore, even after the season ended. We found the walk downhill to the town, and back uphill to the village fine, even with 2 kids. Herssonios itself didn’t hold much charm for us, but we found a taxi to Agios Nikolas (delightful), Heraklion’s museum (more engaging for us than the Athens archeological museum), and Rethimno (lovely old town, laneway cafes, long stretch of beach) filled enough of our days. And with a heated pool to return to, no complaints.

My stay was so beautiful! I was travelling alone but at no point felt uneasy or unsafe. I felt very much at home. The place is immaculate and exactly how it looks in the photos. The views are breathtaking and it is a complete peaceful haven! Giorgos also arranged car rental for me, he made it super easy and the company he booked through were great ! I could not recommend this place enough, from the property down to the communication with Giorgos, everything was perfect!

Beautiful and quiet place with stunning views.

This quaint AirBnB was not only comfortable but also a stone’s throw away from the beach. We felt right at home and enjoyed every moment - would totally recommend! (Side note: Crete is a gorgeous but absolutely HUGE island, if you want to get around easily and visit other beaches you should definitely hire a car) 🇬🇷

Very nice new villa, with a great pool area. An outdoor kitchen with play area for the children is also available in the lower part of the complex. Good opportunity for activities. Not far to the beach.

We had a lovely 2 week stay at the villa. The view and facilities were outstanding. The hosts were super friendly and very helpful. I would recommend the villa to all families and groups. We were supplied with everything we needed including cots and child safety gates. Thank you for making our stay so relaxing and checking whether we needed anything.

The pictures don’t do this view justice. It’s breathtaking! The home is gorgeous and the outdoor space is wonderful. It was too cold for us to swim but we still enjoyed time at the beach. Most of the immediate area was already shut down for the season during our stay but there is a lovely area about a mile walk away. We spent a lot of time there enjoying the coffee shops and restaurants. The house and rooms were fantastic and there was more than enough space for everyone to relax. The host was amazing and went above and beyond to help us when we left some glasses at a restaurant. Thank you so much for a great stay!!

This was our 4th stay at Giannis' place and as always it was perfect. The property is exactly as pictured and described, so comfortable, with amazing outdoor space and everything you need (great WiFi, smart TV, great shower, plenty of towels and bed linen, etc). The outdoor space is the major selling point, with lots of different relaxing areas, plenty of shade, and a fabulous pool. And stunning views to boot! Agios Myron is a lovely little town: if you go please make sure to visit the local bar, restaurant, bakery and shop, all run by lovely people. Looking forward to returning again next year!

We just loved everything about this airbnb!!!!! The house was AMAZING, incredible views, incredible features, we went to the pool, did barbecue, breakast with ocean view, everything and more we expected! Konstations is THE BEST host we ever got!! Not only he was hiper reactive, attentious ( he made sure to got us on the airport so we arrive well, his mom cooked us food because they would imagine we would arrive late and hungry), incredibly generous and nice!! We have many tips and support during the full trip ! Everything and more that we expected! Thank you again

Nikolao and Katerina were excellent hosts who made our stay so easy. The house is clean, comfortable and has everything you need. The garden is lovely and there are lots of spaces to relax in - great for a big group. View from the balcony at sunset is gorgeous and peaceful, surrounded by olive groves. The area isn’t the most happening but it’s easy to drive around the island and it’s a nice retreat from busier parts near Rethymno. Communication with Katerina and Nikolao was very proactive. I even left something behind and Katerina sent it by courier to my next destination so I received it quickly. Thanks for a great stay!!

We spent a fantastic relaxing 2 weeks in Alexandros Villa with 5 adults. The villa is equipped with everything you could wish for a comfortable vacation. We felt comfortable from the start. We would particularly like to emphasize the outstanding location of the villa. The view straight from the upper balcony to the mountains is breathtaking. With a seating option, the balcony would be even more inviting to enjoy one or two sunsets. Alexandros is a wonderful host. He picked us up personally from the airport, helped us transport the luggage and accompanied us to the villa. He gave us valuable tips for exploring the island and was always available to us. That gave us a good feeling. We can fully recommend Alexandros' villa.

We had a wonderful time at the accommodation. There were nine of us travelling and the place was spacious enough for all of us. The view was incredibly beautiful, and both the kitchen and bathrooms were superbly equipped. Everything was spotlessly clean. We can wholeheartedly recommend this accommodation to anyone wishing to visit the island of Crete, with nothing to complain about.

Perfect place to stay if you’re looking for a quiet, peaceful stay. When sitting on the patio all you hear is the wind and the bells from the goats walking around (and there’s tons😍) This house has all the amenities that you will need for cooking. Definitely need a car. There is nothing walkable. But Theodore has a list of nearby supermarkets and some pretty amazing restaurants! There are some nearby beaches. They are very small, and get very crowded. They were not the beautiful blue beaches we were expecting but they were clear and clean. Bring your goggles because there’s tons of fish to see.

Absolutely wonderful stay! The place is beautifully designed, very private, and felt like everything was brand new and spotlessly clean. We felt incredibly comfortable and truly at home from the first moment. Stella is an exceptional host – always super friendly, quick to respond, and she helped us with so many different things during our stay. Her support made a real difference and was far beyond what we expected. We absolutely loved our time here and would come back in a heartbeat. Highly recommended!

Comfortable, private apartment with everything you need for a peaceful stay. We slept well every night. Very tidy and well set out with contemporary furniture and small functional kitchen. Lots of outside space and places to park. Taverna beside the apartment and only a 10 minute drive into the shops, restaurants, bars and supermarkets. Easy to get to the main road. Too many nice details and additions to list. Definitely recommend.

Fantastic stay at this wonderful village house in beautiful peaceful Milatos, we cannot recommend this accommodation highly enough, exactly as pictured and described , host was amazing as was the delicious meal she left for our first night! Great amenities within house too. Great location to drive through mountains to elounda and agios Nikoliaos , we went straight south to beaches there too. All the restaurants on the front were amazing bar with no name fab through to Socrates so friendly and cheap €45 for two with wine . Old neighbour we sat and had a beer with although dialect was limited. Thank you again we will be back and telling everyone to come 🥰

Would highly recommend! We spent our first vacation in Palaiokastro and were very satisfied. We felt comfortable from the beginning, everything necessary was available, from baby utensils to a beach umbrella. Maria and Yannis are very friendly and helpful, and welcomed us warmly and personally said goodbye. The house is beautiful, clean and cozy, the garden is super well maintained. However, hot water must be heated with a boiler. Unfortunately, we did not like the beach within walking distance (10 minutes), as a car bridge leads directly above it. However, beautiful beaches are easy to reach by car. We were mostly in Agia Pelagia. We had a great vacation and highly recommend the house!

Bathroom modern but doors difficult use. Parking difficult to find. Needed locals to help us find the opening to the apartment. Host described opening but was confusing when you follow the map. Apartment very clean and comfortable.

We had a wonderful stay at the Gaea Loft! The check-in went completely smoothly. Titos greeted us on our arrival with freshly squeezed orange juice, pastries and fresh eggs from his chickens. He is a very kind and likeable man, who cares very much about the successful stay of his guests. The listing exactly matches the pictures. It is clean, spacious and extremely well equipped (spices, oil, luggage scale, cooling packs, etc.). Each living room is equipped with air conditioning that quickly cools the room to the desired temperature. The view is beautiful, you can enjoy the sunrise and sunset on the balcony. The loft is accessible via a separate front door. You always have complete privacy. We can recommend the Gaea Loft to anyone!!
