Enjoy nature close to cultural Råshult with its beautiful hiking trails as well as the proximity to Älmhult and IKEA. Newly renovated house with modern standards. Lake view and walking distance to Sighetenäs Friluftsbas with a swimming jetty and canoe rental. 5 km to Diö where the nearest pizzeria and train station is located. Add 2 km and you will find the village tavern in Liatorp. 7 km south there is Älmhult with shops and restaurants and of course IKEA and IKEA Museum. Fishing is available both in Shedenäs lake as well as Möckeln and Virestadsjön.

Platsen är en av sitt slag. Med underbar vy utöver sjön. Vi tar gärna emot frågor och är alltid öppen för förbättringar. Sängen är redan bäddad när ni kommer så det är bara att slappna av. tältet är till för 2 personer men man skulle kunna ha ett barn i mitten. (då tar vi dit fler stolar efter ert önskemål.) Eventuellt kan vi sätta dit en luftmadrass också om man inte vill vara 3 i samma säng. Om ni väljer att inte hyra av någon anledning skriv gärna det så vi kan förbättra oss❤️

Warm, likeable and wonderful hosts. We felt very comfortable and immediately took Brana & Anders into our hearts. The place was lovely and there were flowers in the kitchen and lavender in the living room and bedroom to welcome us. We were allowed to snack on tomatoes, physalis and raspberries from the garden. The tips for excursions were good and the surrounding area is wonderful.

We more than enjoyed staying with Malin and Christian. Both are great hosts and always very eager to help with questions immediately. The furnishings of the accommodation are great! Sauna, boats, bicycles incl. Children's trailers have ensured that we hardly had to do any paid activities/excursions. The location in Piggaboda and with direct access to the nature reserve was incredibly idyllic and beautiful. We were very lucky to see a moose with a calf on the nature trail towards Kröxnas. An absolutely unforgettable experience. We will definitely come back, in this picturesque Astrid Lindgren backdrop 🥰 Thank you for everything!

Our mission was to relax and we found it at this wonderful home on the lake and its great view. The house itself is wonderful in design as are its outdoor areas. Inside everything was immaculate. Everything you need is there for a relaxing stay and the host make sure that everything is clear for you when you arrive and were easy to reach if you needed help. We loved are short stay and hope to be back in the near future.

Lakefront cottage outside Älmhult

Cozy place in the middle of the forest - peace and quiet - almost no internet connection - nor TV. , so choose this place if you need to completely disconnect from your hectic everyday life ! Otherwise, there is everything you need - the house is 100 years old, so it is reflected in the height of the house indoors - we are 178 cm in height, so that's really nice - if you are close to the 2 meters in height, you should probably expect to bend a little. Cozy outdoor fire pit - and lovely nature right about the house. If you bring your dog, give it a cure for ticks before departure, as you are in a forest area. A lovely lake is only 100 meters from the house and you will have the opportunity to fish and borrow Erik's rowboat u/b - really cozy !
