The Bodden offers many water sports and a well-developed network of bike paths. The beautiful white Baltic Sea beaches of Fischland Darß can be reached in 25 minutes.

Nestled in the hilly landscape, you will find pure relaxation here. The building complex consists of a large sleeping and living yurt and a cottage in which the fully equipped kitchen and bathroom with warm water are located. For the past five years, we’ve been carefully restoring it, breathing new life into the 1899 estate. On the upper floor of the manor house – a brick building typical for the region – a spacious, light-filled 114 sqm apartment is waiting for you. The old beams are visible once again. The interior is simple and doesn’t distract.

Kranich Museum & Hotel in Hessenburg, Apartment 10

The Kranich Hotel offers the rare experience of staying in a museum. Designed as a place to slow down, extensive walks can be taken here on the Bodden and Baltic Sea beaches. Returning home, you can relax in the foam of antique bathtubs overlooking the park while the wood quietly cracks in the cast-iron stove. Lamps placed under the floorboards let the light glide over the walls, highlighting the textures of the brick walls and revealing contemporary history.

The apartment is located right next to a nature reserve. The Bodden (Ribnitz-Damgarten) is about 15 minutes away by car and the Baltic Sea is about 25 minutes. The Vogelpark Marlow is about 12 km away. There are also opportunities to canoe on the Recknitz. A gas station with a small supermarket is about 4 km away. Rostock is 40 km away and Stralsund about 50 km. Four times a week, the bakery van arrives in the morning around 11 AM.
