Plenty of parking space. A hammock that you can hang up between the trees outside the cabin - for a relaxing afternoon nap, or a night under the open sky. Possible to rent bed linen.

THE CABIN - is a newly built cabin (2024), located in a small cabin area on Oppheimsåsen with quiet surroundings. This is a cabin that is excellent for the large family, or several families. The cabin has a high and modern standard. There are ski slopes right outside, bike path, fishing lake, as well as several mountain hikes nearby. Here you have a peaceful place in the mountains, in the heart of Hemsedal's hiking paradise. The cabin has good facilities and is 70m2. The cabin is located by Kongevegen and is a good starting point for hiking and cycling. Many fishing opportunities nearby. A good starting point for car trips to Hallingdal, Valdres, and Sogn. Cabin at 800 m.a.s.l. in the mountain village of Vats, Ål municipality. Great views over the village and mountains. Hiking and fishing terrain easily accessible; a large network of ski slopes, cycling and hiking trails. It is almost 6 km up to the high mountain in Skarvheimen where you can see Reineskarvet and Hallingskarvet. The cabin is located by itself and there is a road all the way up. Cabin from 2018 with a fantastic view of Hallingskarvet. Cross country tracks and alpine trails practically just behind the cabin offering panoramic view of the mountain peaks a few kilometers away. If you fancy downhill skiing, within ten to sixty minutes drive you have access to Ål skicenter, Skarslia ski center, Geilo ski center, Hemsedal ski center, Skagahøgdi skicenter (Gol) and Hallingskarvet ski center. Cabin is rented out WITHOUT bedlinen and towels.
