Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Ala Moana Beach

I had a great stay at this beautiful apartment! The space was clean, well-maintained, and exactly as described. Check-in was super easy with clear instructions provided ahead of time. Charlie was communicative and helpful throughout the stay. I would definitely recommend this place and would happily stay here again! Mahalo nui!

We loved this place! It was definitely one of the more reasonable cost rentals in the Lanikai neighborhood but it didn’t disappoint. A few things of note: - the appliances are high end KitchenAide and Bosch. The cooktop is a two burner induction that you can put away when not in use. Toaster oven as well. Compact dishwasher and fridge is a one drawer fridge/ one drawer freezer that fits under counter - ample beach towels. Also beach chairs and umbrellas. - the pool was wonderful - less than 10 min walk to Lanikai Beach - do the pillbox hike up the ridge behind you if you want a good workout! We loved our week here. Always planned to cook out on the Weber grill but didn’t end up doing so. The patio was awesome at the end of each day and for morning coffee. Neighborhood was safe. Met the pest control guy and the pool guy while we were here- both really friendly. Would definitely choose this place again.

We had a great stay in Kailua! The house is very comfortable, and it’s only a couple minutes walk to the Kalamas beach access. When not at the beach (with the chairs, towels, boogie boards, and toys provided) or eating Island Snow, the kids loved playing in the yard and the play room, and watching movies in the living room. We ended up staying mostly in Kailua and Lanikai for beaches, shopping, and restaurants, with one morning at the botanical gardens in Kaneohe and one at Haunama Bay, and an afternoon at Bishop Museum after check-out. We’d love to stay here again, in this well-appointed and clean house with hosts who responded to our questions and provided clear guidance on the check-in and check-out process.

Hilton Village is easy. Has everything you could need or want so you don’t spend time driving all over in Honolulu traffic! We wanted to arrive and park it! This place allowed us to do just that!!

Brooke’s place was perfect for my partner and I plus daughter and niece. We were able to cook in the kitchen with sharp knives other good kitchen amenities but also appreciated that there were plenty of dining out options very close by. Kailua and adjacent beaches are clean, friendly and beautiful! It felt safe for the teenagers to spend hours on their own. All around great experience with Brooke being very easy to reach and helpful with recommendations for hikes, shops and restaurants.

Shirley's place had everything we needed and was a wonderful place to be for our vacation. Shirley was easy to communicate with and friendly. The space was clean and comfortable. The kitchen is tiny home sized (as pictured) and it had everything we needed to cook meals during our stay. We would definitely stay again in the future!

This location is just perfect. My tip to avoid paying the expensive parking in the building is to drive around the place looking for a street parking. We found street parking almost everyday, walking time around 15min. It is small but it has all you need :)

Tiffany was an amazing host and provided a truly incredible space. A professional through and through. From her personable responses, helpful communication, and an extremely clean and welcoming living space, her place was better than advertised and felt like home. Made for a truly special experience! Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay at Tom’s place! The view was even better than in the pictures, and there were even more amenities than were listed (including the WiFi, TV, and a washer/dryer). It’s in a perfect location, and we plan on coming back to Tom’s place! You can’t go wrong booking here.

Angie listing advertises a studio space that you can expect to see when you arrive. Aside from certain decor for listing photos, all of the amenities stated are present. Check-in was flexible - they made sure we would be able to check in earlier than they anticipated to accommodate our early flight in. The shower was very strong when we had first used it (like spraying hail) but the pressure had eventually reduced to a more tolerable pressure on its own on the second use. Elevator availability was a negative we experienced but out of Angie's control and a minor inconvenience. Location was great - a brief walk's distance to Waikiki. Parking at the building has changed to $33/night with their 1-5 overnight passes being made available. Local recommendations were given - definitely ask Angie about it in case you want to squeeze some recommendations into your itinerary. 10/10 for our purpose of a week in Honolulu, I would recommend to anyone looking for a place in Waikiki. This was an excellent Airbnb that had everything we needed while staying in Waikiki. The convenience of having a little kitchen allowed us to cook and store some meals which was very helpful for our family. The location was excellent, and very close the International Marketplace and walkable to the beach. The amenities were excellent in this apartment, as it even had a beach mat and beach umbrellas for us to take to the beach. The hosts are very responsive, friendly and communicative. The view was amazing, as we could sit on the balcony and clearly see Diamond Head and the ocean. Only downside to the apartment was that street sound seemed to travel and same with other neighbouring apartments. All in all a great stay, and we would stay here again.

This is a great place right in the mix of Waikiki. It is a short 1/2 mile walk to the beach, with ocean views and an amazing view of Diamond Head and the city. The place was stocked with all the things you may need for a comfortable stay. I had my morning coffee on the lanai listening to the birds. There are some good restaurants and great food trucks right near by. The host also helped out with getting a parking pass. Storage space for clothes in the cabinets next to the bed and in the closet. There were also some beach supplies. Laundry room was easy and clean, and there is a good pool at the complex. The unit was recently remodeled so everything was pretty new. Super comfortable bed. Really great space in a good location for walking, at a good price. Would stay here again for sure. Thanks!

We were very pleased with this rental. Everything, including the beach was within walking distance. It was also easy to access rentals for further trips. We will be back and booking this location again. 🤙

My partner and I loved our stay here in Honolulu! Kelly was proactive and responded to any question we had within minutes! I had a great time here. The unit was exactly as advertised, clean and comfortable with a nice view of the pool and canal. The location was perfect being a short walk to lots of shops and food options. My needs were all met prior to staying and Jayden and team were very communactive. They seemed ready and willing to help if anything came up during my stay.

I just loved it! Very clean, all you need you can find here, nice view. You have also laundromat at 5th floor where you can wash and dry your clothes and you can admire an awesome view from there also! The check in was very easy, also the parking is very close, you have 2 7eleven at 1 min walk, ihop, many restaurants and the way to the beach is absolutely taking your breath! The bed is very comfortable and big! Also I have a cockroach phobia and Mindy assure me that everything will be ok and she was so right!! I never saw one, so don't worry if you are scared like me.. just go for it and rent this gorgeous room! I loved it and for sure I will rent it again if I will have the opportunity. Thank you Mindy for the chocolate, juices, for everything! ❤️

We had a fantastic stay at this condo! It was super easy to get to, and it made for a perfect starting point for exploring the island. Plus, the best part was the parking—it's so affordable compared to hotels in the area! The room was exactly as described, and we had all the amenities we could possibly need, like toiletries and beach gear. Sam was great to work with; he was so friendly and answered all our questions, which really made our stay more relaxed. The building staff were also really helpful during check-in and check-out. The security features, like the key fob for the elevators and code for the suite door, added a nice touch. We’re definitely hoping Sam’s suite will be available for our next trip to Oahu!

10/10 would stay here again! the location is centralized to everything. There are many shops, restaurants and the beach within walking distance. The place was cozy and had everything you need. Thanks to Eric for being so responsive and detailed with any information he would share, he made my stay super easy and hassle-free.
