Very homey and welcoming. Family enjoyed celebrating time together in all spaces of the house, especially the back patio where our young child made believe on the well-designed pirate ship. Friendly, kind host. We walked to adorable Rockridge and BART many times. Highly recommended.

Great central spot in Concord. Georgie is a fantastic host and the house is extremely well supplied. Our stay was wonderful.

Had an excellent stay with our family. Will is one of the best airbnb hosts we have ever had and would stay again at this home or any other home he hosts without hesitation. The cactus home is luxurious and has amazing amenities like heated bathroom floors, great outdoor space with pool and hot tub, and a well equipped kitchen.

We enjoyed our stay so much. The deck and view were so beautiful. The home was spacious, clean and well stocked. The location was perfect for the places we wanted to visit and the neighborhood was quiet. We already want to go back!

Wow - we had an amazing stay and loved Job's beautiful home. The photos barely capture the incredible views. 180 degrees views of Mt. Tam all the way down to the Bay - truly on top of world. Pool was bigger than expected, warm water, great covered porch, VERY nice pool house/bedroom & bath. All beds were super comfortable, everything sparkling clean and living room was such a great and comfy area to watch movies or just look at the view with a good book. Kitchen is outfitted (and labeled) with everything you need. Very close to San Anslemo downtown - which is filled with great lunch spots, coffee shops. So much to do in Marin and this is centrally located (note a steep driveway but we had no issues.) Can't think of a single improvement Job could make. I left something behind and he responded that day that he would ship back to me. One of our most favorite Airbnbs ever. THANK YOU!

Fabulous trip! We were greeted warmly by Jana and settled easily into the spaces of this large character home on a quiet cul de sac. It worked perfectly for our group of four. We loved the peaceful feeling of being on the water and the nearby pathways along the bay; it's lovely to sit outside to read and sip something. We didn't use the kitchen much, but it is very well-equipped. We got in some great hikes and meals at Mt. Tam, San Rafael, San Anselmo, Fairfax and Pt. Reyes as well as a SFMOMA day in the city. A wonderful location! Don't hesitate.

We loved the place, it had everything needed for a comfortable stay. Mei was very attentive and quick to respond to any question we had. I highly recommend it.

Nathan’s place was lovely and exactly as described - perhaps even better! The place was very clean, comfortable, and had thoughtful touches - extra blankets, pillows, workspaces, excellent character, without being cluttered. Ample closet and dresser storage for clothing, toiletries, etc. We felt right at home and there was more than enough space for our party of three. Bathrooms were spacious and the beds were so comfortable. We would highly recommend Nathan’s place and would definitely stay again.

Shelia was a wonderful, accommodating and very thoughtful host. The space is terrific - roomy and well appointed. Quiet even though it is close to restaurants and shops in downtown Alameda. I had a wonderful stay and hope to stay again on future visits to Alameda.

Our stay at the Textile Oasis exceeded our expectations! We had two couples in our party, visiting for a graduation. The decor of the Airbnb was exquisite, with beautiful textiles and art and comfortable beds and furniture. Sleeping accommodations were perfect for 4, but would have been tight with more. Although the neighborhood is not as upscale as some parts of Alameda, the many families and local businesses gave it a very friendly feel. The Airbnb was truly an "oasis" away from the bustle of the freeways and tunnel - and a perfect place to land for a family gathering. We really enjoyed spending time on the deck overlooking the garden. The on-site parking was a real plus and talking with our hosts Jennifer and Andreas in the textile studio downstairs was one of the highlights of our stay.

We loved this backyard cottage! Super comfortable, fresh, well run … terrific location for visiting our Alameda friends, morning coffee walks … will definitely be booking again (and recommending to friends on the island when they have visitors)

Rin’s place is amazingly beautiful. It is situated near to Target, many eateries, pharmacies and gas stations. The house was clean and very comfortable (just like photos). Kitchen equipped with cooking spices and appliances. Host was responsive and friendly. Would highly recommend to book Rin’s place.

This is a tastefully updated classic craftsman style home. The home was immaculate and exactly as described. We appreciated the snacks provided by our host. The neighborhood is safe and lovely with Victorian or craftsmen homes throughout the area. We were really delighted to find that we had parking in the driveway. It’s a very quiet neighborhood. Christine was very responsive and clearly communicated expectations. I suggest bringing warm slippers this is a no shoes place and the floors can be quite cold. We found great restaurants nearby and would definitely rebook this place.

We had a great visit. My husband and I and our service dog totally enjoyed the location and the garage parking was easy to use. Inside space is open and well lighted. Laundry was easy to use and well supplied. Since we are in our late seventies, it took us a while to learn how to take a shower in the clawfoot tub. Alan had installed excellent grab bars to help with entry and exit and that helped. We would like to stay again when we come back to Alameda.

Ena's cottage was adorable. The living room is spacious; the bedroom and kitchen were also great. We really appreciated treats and coffee in the kitchen. The old-fashioned bathtub was cute, but a bit challenging for 2 older people. Everything was well done and very comfortable. We were able to walk to a coffee shop and market which was a real plus. We'd love to stay again!

If searching for a quick getaway or something longer , Victorias home provides Old Victorian Charm that has been remodeled so you can bask in luxury while still being plugged into technology. A back yard that offers a feeling of country comfort , a Tree ripe with lemons that you can pluck down and enjoy while continuing down the stairs to maybe enjoying a cup of tea at her table or relax and swing in the hammock with a book you can find at Books INC or rocket yourself into a realm of wonder at Rocket Reuse while maybe exploring all that Alameda has to offer ! Victorias home is walking distance to Your next connection to a memory for your family.

I stayed with my family four years prior. It was a good experience first time around and the same the second. i would definately recommend and stay again. Friends stayed at nearby Airbnb and they were not as this one. Great host. Clean and safe.

Convenient location for exploring Alameda. Walking distance to Park St restaurants and more, through charming neighborhoods. Short drive from OAK airport or to ferry ports for San Francisco. Or quiet base for exploring the chaotic Bay Area!

We loved staying at Corria's place. It’s a quiet ground-floor unit at the rear of a multi-unit property. The backyard is beautifully lined with rosebushes and overlooks the water, perfect for relaxing lunches (patio furniture available). It’s a quick drive to Park St & Webster St restaurants, Safeway, and the ferry - I commuted to SF by ferry 2 separate days, and it was beautiful! The kitchen is well-stocked for cooking, and there’s plenty of bedroom storage - we fully unpacked for our 1-week stay. I worked remotely from the dining table all week, and the wifi worked great. Corria was responsive and easy to communicate with, quickly helping with a couple of small needs. Some notes: - One bedroom has lower ceilings - better for kids or shorter folks. - Not wheelchair accessible: uphill driveway, then stone steps down to the unit (well lit at night). - There’s an old dock out back - it’s a bit rickety, so be cautious and watch kids. All in all, great location & highly recommended!

This a great spot to stay with family and friends when visiting the Bay Area. The location is perfect especially close to Oakland airport and anything Oakland. Street parking is super easy and available. Super chill, safe, vibrant neighborhood with plenty of good eats, drinks and beaches to explore down the street in Alameda. House is a perfect place to relax and totally private would definitely stay again.

I only wish I could give more than five stars. Words can’t begin to describe our host. Without exception. Forever grateful for the superior level of kindness and hospitality. Thank you Michelle and Ryan.

Fantastic stay. Alameda is a wonderful area, and this unit is in a wonderful location. The house itself is all that's promised in the description. Beds are comfy. The place is clean. I'd gladly return!

This was a trip to visit our two adult children who live in San Francisco and South Bay. We loved having a place for the family to gather in the bay area for the weekend. We traveled to a couple of places north of the bay and in San Francisco and otherwise had a nice family weekend. Check-in and check-out was a breeze. One concern was the temperature on the day we arrived-it was unusually warm, there is no A/C and it was pretty warm the first evening. We opened the doors and windows and used their fans to cool the place down by evening.
