Cozy little cottage with open floor plan, mini kitchen, gas stove, microwave and refrigerator. Two bar stools with the possibility to eat breakfast inside. A small sleeping alcove with a double bed and a separate sauna. There are two terraces, the one in the west has a dining table for 6 people with an incredible view of the open sea and the horizon. There is also an outdoor sink on the east side terrace as well as a gas grill. A dry toilet directly outside the sauna as well as a separate newly-built shower and laundry room as well as a frozen toilet a short distance away.

Beach with kayak

Stay close to the sea in a small and simple accommodation with its own sauna and beach. There is a kitchenette, outdoor toilet behind the outhouse, a bathroom with sink and shower. The bedroom has a bunk bed, sofa bed for two is in the room. Kayak is available as well as outdoor furniture and charcoal grill. (Coal and lighter fluid are not included) Electricity and municipal water. The sauna is wood-fired. The accommodation is located next to the hiking trail around Kungsö battery with the nice observation tower and cozy picnic spots. Mariehamn is close, about 10 km.

Two-person kayak and SUP board are available to borrow for those who want to explore the lake from the water. The cottage is about 30 minutes from Mariehamn.

On the beach, there is the possibility to catch your own perch. Österören is an island located in the Boxö archipelago and is surrounded by the Boxö Nature Reserve. Just a 5-minute walk away, there is a small beach with access to a rowboat. A larger beach with a diving board is about 3 km (1.9 miles) away. For the active type, there is climbing in the Getabergen mountains, about 5 km from the cottage. Perfect for both relaxation and active days in nature.

You have free parking, access to a rowboat (motor can be rented) and the possibility to buy a fishing license. The cottage has running water, stove, oven and electricity. There is an outdoor toilet and an outdoor shower with hot water. The cottage is located at the end of a gravel road and on the same property is also our house.
