Holiday rentals with a kayak in Alburgh

Thank you, Palmer for an enjoyable stay at your beautiful lake house. We came up for a college tour of UVM and the location was perfect. It took us only 20 minutes to get there and then at the end of our day we came back to relax and unwind at your comfy and spotless home. Every room was beautifully furnished , comfortable and really just felt homey. The kids enjoyed hanging out downstairs watching movies while the adults enjoyed cocktails and talking all while taking in the amazing view of the lake. We had a wonderful time and would certainly return. Only two minor issues, one of which just might have been our own unfamiliarity with the home. The living room gets really warm and even though we turned down the thermostat, it kept creeping up. But it could have even been the fact that it was so sunny one of the days we were there. A minor issue. Outside, the railing to get down from the deck to the yard is a bit wobbly in places and may be due to be replaced soon. Also, no big deal.

Lovely, clean place for a relaxing stay. Super comfy beds and plenty of amenities. We hope to stay there again some time!

We really enjoyed our stay. The property was beautiful and everything was perfect for our graduation weekend (minus the weather).

I have stayed in a many rental properties over the years and I have never had a kitchen so loaded with everything a cook could ask for - very helpful! Amazing views and a 20 minute drive to Jay - just a great experience. The property is on a dirt road, which is no joke. Make sure you have the right vehicle for Vermont mud season and you will have the time of your life. Highly recommended!

Our first time at Lynda's home in the woods. Place was exactly how described! Was very cozy and we had everything we needed for our stay. Great location, very private and close to skiing and town. We enjoyed to sauna every day. We got to relax and really enjoy ourselves. Lynda was very quickly to respond and was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely plan to go back, we loved it!

We loved our stay. It was beautiful and we loved being right by the lake as well as the sauna, fire pit, and outdoor seating. The house was cozy and the little kids toy closet was such a cute touch. We had an amazing time on our family vacation and would definitely recommend this rental. Ash was also so communicative and ready to help if we ever needed anything. So thankful!

Our host was very accommodating and responsive to our needs. The space was clean and very safe for the babies. The area was quaint and peaceful for our weekend getaway.

Chloe was a great host! Checkin was very easy. The location is beautiful. Perfect for my family of 5 and our 2 dogs. Highly recommend!

Very clean and cozy cottage. Comfy beds, well-stocked kitchen, and peaceful surroundings. It was a great home base for exploring nearby attractions (we enjoyed Sutton, Douglass Beach in Knowlton, driving the Route des Vines, and visiting the Granby Zoo and Montreal Biodome with our toddler). We appreciated the family-friendly features such as the high chair, baby plates and utensils, and baby gates which gave us peace of mind as the cottage spans two floors. Fanny also was very responsive.

We visited Michael’s place for a long weekend stay and had a wonderful time! Quiet, peaceful, safe location with beautiful river views. The location was perfect — far enough out of town to feel out of the way but close enough for easy access. Clean and comfortable, overall a fantastic stay.

Perfect home base for a peaceful ADK getaway. Lots to do in close proximity to cottage. The place was great. Very quiet. Coffee on the deck overlooking the river was a great was to start every day, and a cold one by the fire was a great way to end each day. Would definitely stay again.

My family had a great stay at this home for a fishing trip. Great communication with the host who confirmed that we could park our truck and trailer with small boat at the house. Enjoyed walking across the road to fish and sit by the lake. Clean and comfortable home. Enjoyed the fireplace on cool days. Busy road so expect some noise - suggest bringing sound machines if you are a light sleeper. Would stay again on our next trip.

The house was in amazing shape and the view was absolutely beautiful. Highly recommend this house. I definitely intend to stay again.

The house was wonderful for our short vacation in Canada. We especially enjoyed the spacious hot tub and the large TV downstairs.

Cannot recommend this adorable cottage enough! Exactly as described, in a serene and private setting. Very responsive hosts, and always available if we needed anything. Instructions were clear, and everything was straightforward. Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway :)

We had a great stay at Robin’s cabin right on Auger Lake for my birthday. The cabin was very clean and cozy, and had everything we needed. The hot tub was great especially since we had unexpectedly cold weather for June. The area was very quiet and peaceful, but still close to a lot of cool places. Definitely will be coming back!

The house is very cute and the beach access is amazing. The hose is nice, gave clear instructions. This is located close to Burlington and offers plenty of things to do when away :)

Jon and Sergios haven of a lake house felt like stepping into a nautical dream with a splash of luxury and a whole lot of adventure. Clean, cozy, and stocked like a ship ready to sail. Nautical vibes all around made it feel like a captain's retreat. Stargazing from a bubbling hot tub quickly became the nightly ritual. Pure bliss. Not too far from a super Hannaford and we were also a tiny drive from the most wildly beautiful river rafting canyon I’ve ever seen.

Ted was accommodating and responsive. The cabins is cute, comfortable, and has a great view. We were in town for an event so didn’t spend much time there, but would have liked to have been able to sit and enjoy the tranquility of the lake more than we did.

The cabin was just what we needed. It was close to skiing and loved the bunk beds for my two kids. The bathroom was a little small but worked great for the few days we were there. It was clean and had everything we needed. We would love to check this place out when we can use the lake. :)

We had a lovely weekend at Patricia's little cottage. Great view, quiet corner in the forest, easy communication, she even came to give us fresh sourdough bread! We'll probably be back.
