In this spacious and unique place, the whole group will be comfortable. Access to large, sunny outdoor area, short distance to the beach and the mountains. 10 minutes to the bus stop. Bus to Ålesund city center approx. 30 minutes. Good fishing opportunities in the sea and in mountain lakes. An excellent starting point for many tourist attractions such as Sunnmørsalpene, Geiranger, Trollstigen, Nordangsdalen, Alnes Fyr, Giske. A spectacular and accessible area for mountain hiking, mountain tours and recreational stays in beautiful nature.

OAH 1870 Oldest Alesund House

Welcome to OAH-1870, the oldest surviving house in Ålesund’s city center – a charming cultural treasure built in 1870. This unique home withstood the devastating fire of 1904, preserving not only its original character but also a true piece of local history. Great for day trips in the Ålesund and Sunnmøre area, including Geiranger, Trollstigen, Ona, Runde and the Atlantic Ocean Road. Boat rental and horseback riding may be available on request.

Shops, restaurants and Moa shopping mall are only a few minutes away. Free parking, and EV charging may be available by arrangement (additional fee)

Newly renovated farmhouse from 1894 which has retained its unique charm and old style :) The house is located on Ulla, Haramsøy (Haram municipality), with the sea as its nearest neighbour. It is a short distance to fishing opportunities and a bathing area, and the hiking trails are right outside the kitchen door. There will also be a boat available for free use during the stay at your own risk.
