Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Alexandria

This place was perfect! The term cozy is an understatement. From the yard and throughout the home this place was so welcoming. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking needs. The bathroom was spotless and the heated floors were glorious. Best 3 nights sleep we have had on this road trip. my husband was ready to steal the mattress and linens. Our pups loved the large fenced in yard.

We loved Heather and Axle’s Cozy House in Alexandria, Virginia. The name fits the house! It has a loving welcome feeling to it. You feel like it’s a home away from home!Heather and Axle were quick to respond to our questions. We went into Washington DC to visit a few museums that were on our bucket list. Heather and Axle recommended a list of restaurants. They did not steer us wrong. The food was amazing! We loved our stay so much we stayed an extra day! Highly recommend this wonderful home!

One of the coolest Airbnb’s we have stayed in. Loved the vibe, the wall of windows looking at the trees, and super comfy beds. Would defiantly stay here again.

We had a very pleasant five day stay at Esther’s White House. The property was immaculate every way and had everything that you would require to make for a worry free stay. Esther made sure we felt welcome and her level of communication was just right. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and loved the quiet and peaceful neighbourhood.

This property was very well listed, it was very clean and exceeded expectations. Easy parking and the place feels safe and clean. The hosts are amazing and we are very thankful for their hospitality. 15/10 recommend.

This house is a great find - it has everything you need to feel right at home and the house and yard are beautiful. The house is extremely well appointed and well stocked. The common area furniture and beds are very comfortable. The gas fireplace was perfect for cool spring nights. The back yard porch was a great place to hang out with comfy furniture, 2 grills, sun umbrellas and a gas fire pit. I love to cook and the kitchen had everything I needed and more. Diana is one of THE BEST Airbnb or Vrbo hosts that we have ever had. She was very responsive, knowledgable, friendly and detail oriented. My wife left her glasses and she mailed them to us overnight. The location is excellent - the neighborhood is peaceful, but very close to the town center stores and activities. Falls Church has a small town feel but is close to all of the attractions of the Wash DC metro area. The house comfortably accommodated me, my wife, our son and grandparents; one-level living was great for grandparents.

We had a great stay. The location is ideal, right off King St. The house is has a historic feel and modern touches. We loved lounging on the second story. The couch is so comfortable! If you have any mobility issues, just be warned this home has many sets of stairs (some steep) and the shower is built on a taller platform. If you are tall, you may be hitting your head in the bedroom! (But I believe the description warns you of this) Overall a great stay. We loved staying in Alexandria. Such a charming city and Thomas’ house matched!

A beautiful home with a great view and enough space for our team and coaches.. It’s in a great location with easy access to everything in D.C and the surrounding area. Will definitely stay again if we are back in the area.

I loved the area, calm neighborhood, the inside is big enough to host up to 9 people. She respond very quick, I have good time, I would recommend it to friends.

Sie liegt in einem sehr schönen ruhigen Viertel, Bus und Metro sind schnell und unkompliziert fußläufig zu erreichen und sie ist ein idealer Ausgangspunkt für die Erkundung von Washington. Die Wohnung hat eigentlich mehr als fünf Sterne verdient! Alle Wünsche und Bedürfnisse anspruchsvoller Gäste werden zu 100 % berücksichtigt und erfüllt: wenn Washington, dann nur zu Eva und Marshall.

A quiet space with lovely garden view, just as described in the listing. The hosts were very responsive, quick to address the minor issues I had, and friendly without being intrusive. In addition to the many good points mentioned in reviews by previous guests, I especially appreciated the nightlights in the apartment and the outdoor lighting along the walkway. I hope this place is available the next time I'm in the area!

It’s a cute little place. I just was not in it long enough to enjoy it because I went for a graduation and was only there for two days. I would probably reserve it again in the near future.

John and Adam were excellent hosts. There were very responsive to my questions and issues. I loved the grounds and very well stocked kitchen. I would gladly stay there again.

Cute & spacious boho apartment. My family of 5 was very comfortable inside. Metro & restaurants were close by (5 min or less walk). Free parking pass was great. Currently there is a lot of construction happening in the parking garage and on the street but it wasn’t too loud and once you got used to the few streets that were closed it was easy to drive and walk around the neighborhood.

We were so happy with this basement apartment and location. Robert was very helpful and responsive. Most days we drove to the mall parking garage near the Pentagon and took the metro from Pentagon City station to the Smithsonian station (the pre-loaded $30 card available online was perfect for our stay). Driving from the unit to Arlington took mere minutes. It isn't too far from Mt. Vernon either. The neighborhood is quaint and quiet. We would stay here again! The current pictures under sell the unit. We were very happy to find it was bigger than expected. It could use a little updating, but we didn't mind. All we did was sleep, eat some breakfast, and return each night with aching feet and legs from a typical day of walking D.C.

Wonderful stay! Elizabeth was quick to answer questions and made sure we had a great stay. Lovely place, had everything we needed and more. I was so thankful to have a washer and dryer since we had been traveling for so long. Elizabeth even had a washing machine pod for us. Would definitely stay again!

This place could not be more perfect for our trip to DC. It was the perfect distance to the metro. Our group of 8 had so much space of our own, yet plenty of room to be together in the common spaces and not be on top of each other! We went in the coldest month of the year, so unfortunately we didn’t get to experience the best of what the outdoor areas had to offer but the views were breathtaking regardless. Melanie’s place was extremely clean and everything was provided and then some! Everyone in our group would like to go back in warmer months to spend more time outside. Before we got there, Melanie explained that there was an issue with one of the sinks in the cabins and said she would credit us accordingly. I thought that was great! It did not hinder or create a problem whatsoever! I hope we get to make it back sometime!

Idalma was a very great host. Beautiful property filled with green space. There are places to go for entertainment very close by. Also is very peaceful at night! Highly recommend and will happily book again in the near future!

Great place to stay! Lots of wildlife- birds, turtles, deer, rabbits, etc. Location is very quiet and serene but not far from suburbs which have gas, food, restaurants, ect. Host was FANTASTIC to deal with. Highly recommend the place and these hosts. My only complaint is that we didn’t spend enough time at the house.

We loved our stay! The trails were beautiful and we loved grilling on the fire pit.

Loved staying at this AirBnB. Great host! Very responsive! First AirBnB I've stayed at actually offered the second "B" of BnB --breakfast, if you like. And you can buy truly fresh eggs from their chickens on the property! AND...walkable to one of my favorite wineries, Paradise Springs!! Lovely place. Lovely host. I will be coming back!
