Waterfront holiday rentals in Alfama, Lisbon

Lovely rooftop apartment with sweeping views north and south. Vibrant neighbourhood with some great bars, bakeries and restaurants. Tall people need to watch the low ceilings in some parts of the apartment. And the hot water is REALLY hot - be careful!

Irina was a wonderful host with proactive and responsive communication. The accomodation is in the heart of Alfama with restaurants just a short walk away, and other suburbs also walkable. We were there during the June festival, which Irina kindly warned us about when booking, which was very loud out the window but also great fun if you’re happy to stay up (very) late. We would return!

Rita’s place was amazing. It was clean and exactly as described. Perfect for myself, my husband and our toddler. The location was excellent. Right on the 28 tram line. We enjoyed eating at the cafe downstairs and watching the trains go by. She provided awesome local recommendations. One of the places she suggested for a coffee / drink / snack with a view was one of our favorite unexpected surprises. The view from the back balcony and also front windows was spectacular. Rita was super sweet and responsive. Would stay here again.

We loved our stay at Ana and Michaels apartment. The apartment was on a quiet street in a very trendy neighborhood with great restaurants, parks and shops. The apartment is beautifully decorated and the view from the terrace is spectacular! The hosts were very helpful with recommendations on what to do and where to eat. It could not have been more perfect! We will be back!

This place was great for three couples (we made the youngest sleep on the pullout, lol). Everyone had their own bathroom. The living space accommodated all of us. So nice to have an outdoor area with beautiful views! Get ready for the stairs to walking up the 4 flights though. Luckily we were out most of the day. lol. Beautiful place!

We had a very nice time in Lisbon staying in Rita’s apartment! The location was very good, which was close to shops and restaurants, regardless of the hills :) The apartment is perfect and has everything you need for a perfect stay! Rita was excellent! She’s very friendly and responded quickly if we needed help with anything. She has a list of excellent things to do with recommendations in her information book! Next door there is a small shop for anything essentials and Dona Judite was so friendly and helpful! We would truly recommend staying here. When we next come back I would definitely stay here again! Thank you Rita for a wonderful stay!

The apartment is beautiful. It is in the middle of everything. The location could not be better. The views are lovely. We all slept so well there. I can not say enough good things about I hope to be back one day.

We loved our stay at Claudia's during our long weekend trip for the Suncebeat festival. The apartment had everything you could possibly need and we very much enjoyed the bottle of wine left for us. Great location to cross the bridge into the City but then you can head south and enjoy the stunning coast line. highly recommend

Wonderful stay at Sofia‘s place. My daughter and I created some wonderful memories. She was really helpful the entire time we were there, especially with my broken adapter and suggestions for what to do with a limited amount of time. Would like to stay here again someday. nous avons choisi cette superbe maison pour passer un séjour mon épouse et moi avec une amie, son fils et sa belle-fille. Idéalement située, les photos de l’annonce parlent d’elle-même. Le salon est très confortable, la cuisine est parfaitement équipé, il ne manque rien. Le bbq est de très bonne qualité. La piscine est agréable et la vue sur l’océan et le coucher de soleil sont tous simplement à couper le souffle. Vous êtes accueillis par les hôtes qui vous font le tour du propriétaire pour finalement vous dire voilà, vous êtes chez vous avant de vous quitter. Lurdes et Luis sont charmants. Ils passent tout les trois jours en fin de journée pour arroser la végétation, prendre les poubelles et entretenir la piscine. Cela se fait très rapidement et il est possible d’échanger avec eux nombres d’informations. Ils parlent très bien le français. Les plages à moins de dix minutes en voiture sont magnifiques. Nous y reviendrons certainement.

El piso de Jaques está tal cual las fotos, todo es nuevo y no te falta nada… jaques ha dejado unos regalitos y lo vimos en nuestra entrada, a parte de que no te falta nada. Ha dejado sal, aceite, azúcar, itens básicos que, muchas veces, en otros pisos no te dejan nada! El piso estaba super limpio, la cama es muy cómoda, la ubicación es muy tranquila… para los que queréis descansar, es el piso correcto. Para ir a Lisboa, hemos ido en coche y aparcamos por allí, así que no podemos opinar sobre el ferry o autobús que lleva a Lisboa… nos ha gustado mucho, esperamos repetir! :)

Wonderful place to stay at. Communication was great and easy. We had everything we needed and even more. Confortable beds, the couch in the living room was just incredible! we totally fell in love with it haha! Kitchen had everything we needed. Big backyard. Clean, Intimate and calm, but still close to everything. Beach 5 minutes walking distance. I strongly recommend.

You honestly have to see it to believe it! The house is such a treasure. We stayed as a family of five, 3 boys ages 9,5 and 4 years old. They did not want to leave :) João was an exceptional host and went beyond to be sure we had everything we needed! Great restaurants just a few minutes walk away and supermarket 5 minute drive away

Die Unterkunft war einfach wundervoll, super sauber, liebevoll eingerichtet und bis ins Detail durchdacht. Man hat sich vom ersten Moment an wohlgefühlt. Alles war blitzblank. Auch die Gastgeberin war herzlich und hilfsbereit. Die Lage war ruhig, aber trotzdem gut erreichbar und perfekt zum Entspannen. Ich würde jederzeit wiederkommen und kann diese Unterkunft weiterempfehlen.

Extremely nice apartment and well equipped with kitchen and bathroom supplies. Location was 5 minute walk to grocery store and 2 bus stations within 1 minute walk. Balcony was wonderful to enjoy morning and evening. If you enjoy walking, closest beach is 10 minutes away. Thank you for sharing your home. Would book again if i make a return trip!

Séjour de 3 nuits dans l'appartement de Pédro et Thérésa très agréable- Conforme aux photos et descriptif de l'annonce- La vue sur le Tage est superbe- Appartement très confortable dans un quartier résidentiel- Le bus pour aller dans le centre de Lisbonne est à 5mns à pieds et le métro est à un peu plus d' 1km- Point positif supplémentaire : l'emplacement de parking en sous-sol

My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights and it was perfect for us. The space itself was beautiful and thoughtfully decorated. It was spacious, with air conditioning, and had all the amenities we needed. It was a modern apartment that had the charm of an older building. The location was fantastic! In the heart of everything and close to great restaurants, bars, and historical sights. It was nice to constantly see the famous tram 28 going by the area! I would recommend this stay for literally anyone. It’s also accessible by elevator which is nice after many kilometres of walking the city. The host (Andre) was friendly and met us at check in and provided many recommendations! Thanks for the wonderful accommodation

The location is picturesque, safe and vibrant with shops and restaurants, but, like most of Lisbon, hilly so be prepared. We stayed in 6 airbnbs on our trip and Barbara’s was the most comfortable and homey…I could live here. We highly recommend Senhora do Fado across the street for amazing food and authentic live fado music. We would love to return to Barbara’s place.

Die Lage der Wohnung ist zentral, trotzdem ruhig, und wir fühlten uns sofort sehr wohl. In der näheren Umgebung gibt es eine große Vielfalt an guten Restaurants, Bars und Frühstückscafes. Die Kommunikation mit Susu war hervorragend, was sich besonders zeigte, als wir am Freitag Abend um 21h00 ein Problem hatten und sie innerhalb von drei Minuten reagierte. Die Wohnung war gut ausgestattet, sauber, und die Betten waren gemütlich.

Ma meilleure amie et moi avons fait un voyage de filles avec nos deux très jeunes bébés et ce AirBNB n’aurait pas pu mieux correspondre à nos attentes. D’abord l’hôte s’est assuré que nous ayons les commodités nécessaires pour un séjour sans tracas, l’appartement est pratique, propre et bien décoré. Nous savions que nous allions passer la plupart de nos soirées au Airbnb donc la terrasse avec superbe vue et confortable était un mega plus Le quartier était paisible, beau, juste à côté d’un parc et facile à marcher Merci encore pour la belle attention à notre arrivée et les communications proactives tout au long du séjour Je recommande à tous!

Fantastic location close to lots of great restaurants and bars. Handy also to luggage storage if you have a late flight out as we did. Totally recommend and also Flora and Fauna - 30 metres up the street for a fantastic breakfast
