Family-friendly holiday rentals in Allentown

Such a beautiful spot on the lake!!! We had the most beautiful weekend, the kids loved he pool and the boats, nothing was missing! We would have stayed another week! Jennifer and Jose answered all our messages within a few minutes and were super accommodating. We will definitely be back!

We had the best time! Rooms are comfy and large, a lot if different seating areas and extremely clean! It was nice to have so many toys and games for the kids as well as a high chair and a pack and play for our baby! The house is bigger than it seems in the photos, :) We will definitely come back!

Highly recommend place was nice host help out with stores around the area definitely we’ll be a get away place on our list ..

What a great setting for our large family to meet! So many activities! We had many a pool table competition along side the same with shuffle board, while a couple of the kids were engaged in XBox! The hot tub was truly an added bonus. No one was bored. The area was perfect for hikes through Hickory Run, as well as lakes in which to fish!!Jim Thorpe was so interesting! Heidi and Trevor offer every amenity we could have needed. The rooms were comfortable and homey and the kitchen was perfect. What a great week!!

I cant say enough amazing things about this place. It was utterly magical. Eva and Donna were incredible hosts. One of the first things we noticed upon walking in was a nice bottle of wine and some snacks, which was very generous. It was overwhelming the amount of detail and creativity at every corner. Our group of 4 had an absolute blast using the pool table, ping pong, hot tub, sauna, mini golf, and fire pit. Thank you so much for memories that will last a life time. Definitely recommend this place and would love to come back again soon. (Left some water guns in the shed for others to enjoy :D) thank you thank you again.

We had a great time at Joseph’s place. He was able to accommodate some last minute request from us and was responsive and helpful. He was also extremely friendly and was able to answer any questions we had. The place was beautiful and we felt right at home. Check in was a breeze as was check out. If we are ever in the area again, we’d love to book here again.

Great place for those like us who love peace and quiet. It’s definitely the private escape we needed! Please take a moment to read Nicole’s directions in terms of getting around / staying there since you are in the woods. The detail was very helpful for us in enjoying our time and getting around. Plus she has an awesome book collection!

The cottage is beautiful, tranquil, and very comfortable - a one of a kind place. The history of the cottage is very interesting and was part of our wonderful stay there. We, along with our guests with four legs, relished walking the serene property. David was a great host - very helpful, responsive, and nice to work with. We look forward to returning.

We really enjoyed the house being private and peaceful but also a short walk into town. We conquered the hill a couple times even though the western route into town was easier. The house was exactly as described and perfect for a couple nights stay.

We were in the area for a multi-day event, so we did not get to take advantage of all of the area's and home's offerings, but the house itself and all of the thought the host put into the details were wonderful. Mike had walking sticks with flashlights hung by the door, blaze orange vests and hats in the coat closet, s'mores ingredients on-hand, just to name a few of the perfect cabin-in-the-woods touches. I enjoyed reading a bit of The Field Guide to Dumb Birds of North America : ) Lots of books on the bookshelves for readers. My bed was very comfortable. You will be staying in an antique cabin in the woods with a wood-burning fireplace, but all of the areas that need to be clean for guests (counters, bathroom, bedding, etc.) were clean. Thank you for a great place to stay while in the area!

Was a lovely family get together. The house was the perfect size for everyone to have their privacy it was wonderful that each bedroom had a bathroom. One thing I would suggest is to have mats for the shower and tubs only because they were a bit slippery when the bottom gets soapy. Other than that it was perfect

From the beginning Ting and Ning had excellent communication that made the booking experience at their rental extremely easy. My questions were answered in a timely manner and the instructions were clear. The home was beautiful and the comfort was so manageable that my guests and i were so sad for it to end. The fruit when we walked in was much needed because we were starving. The home was such a great experience and i would definitely book with Ting and Ning again. Thank you for such an amazing weekend!!!

The house and property is perfect! The house was spacious, clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. The lakefront view was absolutely beautiful. The host, Eugene, was amazing—super responsive and so accommodating, which made everything really easy. He answered all of our questions quickly and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed during our stay. We’d definitely come back and highly recommend this spot for families looking for a peaceful and fun getaway!

Perfect getaway! spent the better part of week at this place and it had just the right balance between secluded privacy and plenty of local things to do, which the host had summarized making activities easy. Lovely local hiking and the host was engaged early to make sure our trip was just right.

If you're after something warm and cozy, this is your spot! It easily fits a family of four and comes with everything you need. The views around the cabin are stunning, and the outdoor space is perfect! there’s a hot Jacuzzi always ready, a fire pit, two chill sitting areas, a big deck, and a massive pool. really recommend!

We stayed 3 nights with our young grandchildren they enjoyed the pool area and the fire pit. (For the s’mores of-course) There was enough room for the 4 of us to sit and relax watch tv and play some games. The house is centrally located to the restaurants,entertainment,and sight and sound theater. had a great time away and would visit Ruth’s home again.

We recently returned to the Mountain Top Estate for a mini-vacation. Only a few days, but thanks to our hosts, and the beautiful house and grounds it really seemed like a full-fledged vacation! Swimming in the gorgeous pool was a highlight as well as quiet evenings taking in the scenery, and enjoying the game room. Getting to see wildlife passing through was an extra bonus. :)  Highly recommend !

We have rented from Elias before. Great host. Cute property close to water park, skiing and hiking.
