Dream place by the lake

For next summer, please make a contact. Our home has a fantastic location overlooking the lake. The house (139 m2) is located by Lake Ømmern, 50 km from Gothenburg. The house, which is located on its own peninsula (3.5 acres), is isolated at the front and has sun from morning to evening. From the terrace you go directly into the lake with its own sandy beach and jetty. In addition to the main house with large living room with fireplace, kitchen, 4 bedrooms (8 people), there is a single annex with room for 4 extra in the summer (cannot be heated).

Kattåkra Guesthouse

Kattåkra Guesthouse was completed in June 2024. It is a detached building in a courtyard environment that consists of kitchen/living room, bathroom with shower and two bedrooms with their own double bed, 160 cm wide. The kitchen is fully equipped. A patio in a western location is available, in summer there is outdoor furniture and barbecue. Only a few minutes away is SkiBikeHike with bike trails in spring, summer and fall. In winter, it is an alpine facility for the whole family. Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay.

Loftstugan

The loft is located near a pond with the forest as a neighbor. Here, it is the tranquility, simplicity and back to basics that apply. The cabin has no water and drainage but is compensated by a sauna and swimming in your own pond 5 meters from the cabin. An outhouse is by the main building. In winter, you will find the cottage in a white fairytale landscape. We put in an extra element during the cold months, but it is above all the stove that heats the cabin. Enjoy a sauna, a crackling fire or a fire outside under a star-filled night sky

Lillstugan

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway just outside Timmele. With proximity to animals and nature and a living farm, you get a lovely relaxing holiday. In the nearby area, there are many hiking trails. Within about 10 km, you will find ski slopes with both downhill skiing, hiking and biking trails. Explore the city of Ulricehamn and its beautiful surroundings by Lake Åsunden. In Ulricehamn, you will find shopping, restaurants, swimming areas and the outdoor area Lassalyckan. The accommodation is smoke and pet free.

Lilla gärdet

Unwind in this unique and tranquil space. Private accommodation in a rural environment with nature as the nearest neighbor. Open landscape with nice views, enjoy the proximity of the forest and the silence. Relax for a while in the wood-fired sauna on site or take a dip in the pond. There is an opportunity to enjoy a nice fire in the soapstone fireplace in the living room. The house is a year-round residence. About 12 kilometers to Ulricehamn where beautiful Åsunden is located. The hosts live about 500 meters from the house.

Farm in the countryside in Swedish idyll

The house is located in a meadow farm in the heart of the Swedish countryside. Experience total silence with nature just around the corner. Alternating landscapes with fields and pastures, winding roads, forests and lakes invite you to hike and explore. Opposite the house is Kärråkra Church, which has been featured in all the Änglagård films. The fields around the house are often visited by cows in the summer months. If desired, there is a farm shop (Duveredskött) with meat to buy only 6 km from the house.

19th-century cottage in scenic surroundings

The cottage from the 1800s is privately located in beautiful nature without neighbors. The cabin has been carefully renovated and has a new bathroom, a fully-equipped kitchen with wood and electric stove, living room with sofa bed for two people, fireplace and a nice glass veranda. Upstairs there is a bedroom with two single beds, only in summer. The house is suitable for 2 people in winter, possibly 3 when one sleeps in an extra bed The house is not rented out to companies/traveling staff

Welcome to this magical summer residence! A typical Swedish little red cottage which lies next to a small bird lake and with the Swedish forest surrounding the area. Large grass lawn to run around, safe, tranquil and rich in wildlife. A peace full paradise. Enjoy the new sauna with panoramic windows or take a hot bath in the wood-fired barrel right next to the lake. The hot tub is not open during the winter due to the water freezing, from November to March. The sauna is open all year round.

Villa Näs - modern accommodation in a rural setting

Up in the garden overlooking Näs Manor and Nässjön is Villa Näs. A modern home in a rural and scenic environment. The house, which is secluded, has a large and lovely garden with sun all day. In the meadows around the house, grazing animals walk in the summer. A few steps away is Nässjön, which offers fantastic swimming. All our guests have access to barbecue, stand-up paddle boards and bicycles! In winter, you live 5 minutes' drive from the alpine center with a total of 7 slopes!

The accommodation offers a unique experience of relaxation by the lakeside, featuring a private sauna, hot tub, and a tranquil relaxation area right by the water with its own jetty. Just a few steps from the sauna, you can take a refreshing dip in the clear lake and then unwind in the warm jacuzzi. Simsjön is a scenic and peaceful spot, perfect for escaping everyday stress and spending quality time together. You can borrow your own boat to explore the lake and enjoy fishing 🎣🌿

Cozy cottage with sauna by the lake

Newly renovated cottage of 80 square meters that has recently undergone a total renovation. It accommodates up to 7 people, with beds in 3 bedrooms + a sofa bed with two beds. The cottage is located by a lake with a private jetty and wood-fired sauna (wood included) as well as a barbecue area to enjoy outdoor meals. The cottage has a patio on the front, a large balcony and a terrace where you can socialize, eat and sunbathe. Located about 15 minutes from Isaberg Mountain Resort.

House Kilstrand directly on Lake Säven

The house was renovated in 2017 and impresses our guests with its interior design. Here, solo travelers, couples and families alike feel comfortable. There is also the possibility for befriended travelers to rent the neighboring beach cabin and Kilstrand house at the same time and thus be on the go with friends and still maintain their retreat option.
