Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Alpine Shire

We had a lovely stay in Mertylerford! The house is beautifully furnished with a charming country vibe that made it feel really cozy and welcoming. Access to the property was super easy, and we especially appreciated having space out the front for our dog to run around freely. Although the back area was under renovation during our stay and not accessible, it looks like they’re adding another room and a veranda—which will no doubt make the place even better once it’s finished. There’s also a beautiful tree out the back that adds to the peaceful atmosphere. Would definitely recommend for a quiet country getaway!

The house is situated in a quiet neighbourhood and has working central heating. I'm especially grateful that dogs are allowed. Secured yard and parking is a great bonus. My only constructive feedback would be to consider replacing the damp, dusty lounge in patio with some outdoor furniture and addressing the cobwebs around the property. Other than that the home offers good value overall. Thank you ☺️

We loved our stay at Olivia's place. super quiet but a short drive to Bright and other places. Had everything we needed for our stay and the bath was a win with our kids.

We had a great stay at Nick's- everything was as promised. The fence area was great for our dog. The house was big and had a great back outdoor entertaining space. easy walk from town and the river. Thanks Nick!

We were stunned with the fantastic views we had to the mountains. From one bedroom we observed the most stunning red sunrise. The place has a few living areas, so we never get on top of each other. For nature lover this is the place to stay. There are a few recommendation for walk and hiking. On some even the dogs were allowed. The ripe figs on the trees in the backyard were a bonus. Also observing the many birds coming and feasting on the fruits. This is a place to relax and enjoy. Would recommend it anytime.

Beautiful cozy cottage in a beautiful region. Despite true winter with snow on the surrounding mountains we were always comfortable and warm in Renee’s house and had a great time exploring Mount Beauty’s surrounds. Our dog loved the enclosed yard to roam free and some of the freely provided treats. Renee was very responsive and friendly. Highly recommended and hope we’ll be back for another stay in summer.

We had a very comfortable stay with my dog. It was our second time at Mad on the Buckland. Kay was an absolutely wonderful host. We didn’t know there was a festival happening in Bright until Kay kindly let us know. Thanks to that, we were able to visit Bright just in time and enjoy the festival without missing a thing. The location is perfect for visiting nearby places, and we had such a peaceful and relaxing vacation. Thank you, Kay!

Perfect base for a snow trip. The house is great for a group and within walking distance to the pub and restaurants. Vicky was proactive in contacting me and making sure we had everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again

We had a fantastic stay at the Bright Tudor House! The home was incredibly spacious, perfect for our three family groups, with big rooms that gave everyone plenty of space to spread out. The kids especially loved the bunk beds and games room - hours of entertainment there! The house was warm and cosy, with a lovely fireplace and split heaters in every room, which made it perfect for chilly evenings. The kitchen was very well equipped, including all the utensils you could need and even a large air fryer, which came in handy. We also really appreciated the enclosed backyard - ideal for our small dogs to run around safely. The location was excellent too, just a short stroll to Bright's cafes, brewery, and restaurants. Highly recommend for families or groups looking for a comfortable, well-appointed stay in Bright!

Jenni is lovely and friendly. We loved the personalised welcome note on our arrival, the cosy and lovely decorated place, So clean and comfy. I loved the outdoor aear too. Perfect location, we enjoyed the beautiful surroundings and 5 minutes drive to Bright's town centre. We will definitely be back again soon.

I randomly found this villa on Airbnb, and I was immediately drawn to its exterior and beautiful pool. After checking in, I was pleased to find that the actual place matched the photos perfectly. The modern design is comfortable and tidy, with convenient facilities, and the environment is peaceful. Most importantly, it is pet-friendly, and they even thoughtfully provided pet shampoo. My family and dogs had a very enjoyable and memorable weekend. Additionally, Sophie was very professional and responsible, with a friendly attitude. She responded quickly to any questions we had. This was a beautifully presented property and was as described. The property was large and expansive with excellent facilities. We were very comfortable and all our needs were met.

Cosy cabin on stunning country in Porepunkah. Gorgeous mountain and valley views, quiet and peaceful. Birds singing in the morning whilst drinking freshly made coffee in bed which so lovely was gifted by the hosts! Wood fire kept us warm and kitchen was equipped with everything we needed! Fresh milk eggs bacon and bread provided were a perfect touch!! Pet friendly so our whippet roo was welcomed which made the trip that much better!! Only issue was the Wifi was very slow and we didn’t have great reception on our phones. We managed to get the TV to stream one of the apps which was great as we wanted to curl up in the evening as it rained outside! Perfect weekend trip!! Would come back again for a winter escape!

A really great place and wonderful host. The house is beautiful and well appointed with everything we could need. It is well zoned and worked well for our family ( teenage kids) and dog. We were blessed with great weather in April and we made the most of the great backyard, pool and trampoline. We also enjoyed the sauna ( with a little TV as a nice touch.- The sauna would be amazing in colder weather). Our stay was very peaceful and we really enjoyed the great surroundings. The view out the back was really nice and it was lovely to have so much space. It is often the little things that you appreciate when you are on holiday ( and there were many at this house) but one that was a real winner for my wife was the blackout blinds in the spacious Master ensuring we could relax and not wake as the sun rose. It shows Stacy has thought of everything. Stacy was really helpful and responsive and the local knowledge Stacy provided was very helpful . We would definitely stay again.

Relaxing peaceful place, very clean, has everything you need. And the outdoor decking overlooks the mountain was the highlight for me👌🏼 Matt and Britt have created a beautiful garden to add to the peacefulness of the place along with their welcoming nature. Very much recommended and definitely will be back 🌷

My husband and I absolutely loved our stay at Grey Wolf. We got off to a rocky start as we were not able to fit snow chains to our car but with the help of Melinda and Steve from 3741 Adventures we were able to get up the mountain safely. We didn’t end up seeing any snow but we had the most amazing and relaxing few days in Dinner Plain exploring and snuggling up in front of the fire. Melinda was an absolute delight to deal with and we can’t thank her enough for her outstanding hospitality and generosity. Our border collie was especially pleased with the dog treats Melinda left for him. We would 100% recommend coming and staying here and we’ll definitely be back. Thanks again Melinda, you were a star! ⭐️

Our second stay at this charming cottage in Bright was as wonderful as the first. Peaceful, relaxing and just a short walk to town. We feel refreshed and rejuvenated and will definitely be back.

Treetops was the perfect home away from home for us and our dogs. The location is superb and the surrounds were just wonderful. Shay was a great host and had everything we needed for our stay ready and set up. The yard is very big and great for our dogs. It isn’t fully secure though but we knew that already and it wasn’t a problem for us.
