You will spend your vacation in our apartment renovated in 2021 on the 7th floor (elevator available) of a former hotel. Through the panoramic window you have a magnificent view of the mountains and the climatic health resort of Bad Grund. The apartment has a built-in kitchen, a dining area, a modern bathroom with large shower, as well as a cozy solid wood double bed with cotton bed linens. On the balcony you sit between herbs (to harvest yourself) & flowers on teak furniture.

We have furnished the apartment according to our ideas in natural tones and also like to "escape" from the big city to our apartment in the Upper Harz Mountains. Our apartment is located in an old forester's house "das Krafthaus", which was built in 1902. It is somewhat remote, surrounded by nature. The Schalker pond is within walking distance. ...... We offer a laundry package for €10 per person (towels, duvet and pillow covers). The contribution for the spa company is €2.80/night for adults and €1.89/night for children from 6 years. Payment is made on site.

Hobby room

We offer a non-smoking room for 1-3 people (30 m²) in the basement with private bathroom (shower/toilet) and entrance. The room with 2.40 m ceiling height has a single bed for 1 person and a sofa bed for 2 people. We are dog-friendly by arrangement. Our house is located on a quiet side street at the exit of the village. Hiking trails and shopping are within 5 minutes. The bicycle storage is lockable.
