Beachfront holiday rental in Alto Alentejo

We had a great time here, peaceful and unique, with lovely hosts, we hope to come back. liaka the dog is super too!

The stay was great, the place is close to the beach and as a coffee underneath. In my opinion the coffee was a little expensive and without too many options, another note is that if you wanna go there you'll definitely need to take your car. The space and now speaking of the overall apartment was great, it was clean and organized had the basic things that one needs but personally didn't explore too much that part since we took everything we needed ourselves.

Loved this place. Perfect if you’re staying in the area and want access to the beach or good food. It’s a great location and the host is superb at responding to questions and giving recommendations

We had a wonderful stay at Bruno’s apartment! Communication was seamless — Bruno was responsive, friendly, and made everything easy. The apartment was spotlessly clean, cozy, and thoughtfully set up. The location is perfect: quiet, central, and close to everything you might need. Just a heads-up for fellow travelers: the beds are closer in size to what would be considered a “twin” in North America. They're a bit tight for two adults, especially if you're on the taller or broader side. Thankfully, there were two bedrooms with separate beds, which worked great for us. The shower is also on the smaller side, so if you're over 1.80 m (around 5’11”), it might feel a bit snug — though that’s more about our size than the apartment itself. All in all, it was a great experience and we’d definitely stay here again. Thanks so much, Bruno!

Appartement à 2 pas du bord de mer, des bars, restaurants, non loin du funiculaire qui vous dépose sur les hauteurs de la plage nord (surf). Location idéalement placée. Bien sûr nous recommandons ce logement conçus sur 2 niveaux, 👍🏼

Acomodação perfeita, bem localizado, com várias comodidades, produtos de uso pessoal, pois as vezes chegamos tarde. Papel higiênico, sal, detergente, esponja, shampoo, sabonete e até uma água mineral. Único ponto negativo foi não ter como trancar os banheiros, sugerimos essa melhoria para maior conforto dos hóspedes.

Wir haben unseren, leider kurzen, Aufenthalt sehr genossen! Absolute Ruhe, sehr viel Natur, weit und breit niemand und wirklich traumhafte Sonnenuntergänge! Besonders die Glühwürmchen nach dem Sonnenuntergang haben es uns angetan. Vor kleinen Spinnen, ähnlichem Getier oder Katzen sollte man aber keine Angst haben...

Очень приятные апартаменты, чистые, везде ароматно пахнет. Чудесный вид на океан. Мягкий матрас и подушки. Спать было приятно и комфортно. Мы заселились в 16 часов, успели посетить бассейн и позагорать. Вода чистая, бассейн немного подогревается. В душе есть всё необходимое, полотенца белоснежные. Ездили с ребенком, для него был готов и застелен диван. Очень всё понравилось.

Located on the beach (first line), within walking distance (5 min) to several restaurants on the marina. Spacious 2 bedroom flat on the 3rd floor wtih lift access. Large balcony with table and chairs, with direct sea view (sunset), and if you're lucky like we were, you might get to see dolphins. All Basic Kitchen utensils available. 2x Allocated parking spaces. Access to shared pool, including a children's pool. There is a mini market within 5 min walk, however if you are planning to cook, I would recommend shopping before you get there - Alcácer, Setúbal or Sines (depending on where you are coming from). You can easily get to Setúbal via Catamaran or Ferry. Comporta is located less than 20 min drive away. The host was responsive and helpful. We had a great time during our stay and planning to return! 🙂

Just an incredible stay in a beautiful area. The apartment made is so easy to relax - whether you want to stay on the terrace and enjoy the sun and the views, or take a short walk into town and enjoy the offerings there. This is probably the best stocked kitchen I have ever seen in an Airbnb. There are two small stores just three blocks away for the basics (including wine, of course) and large grocery stores a 20 minute walk - or 5 minute drive away - for all other needs. Prompt, courteous and easy-to-follow communication from the owners. Will definitely return.

My wife LOVED our stay here and we highly recommend it! Elena is an INCREDIBLE host. She welcomes you when you arrive and goes above and beyond to ensure you have a wonderful time. (She visited us during our stay to answer questions about the area and Portugal.) The apartment is clean and modern, and has everything you need. Plus, the ocean view is amazing and the on-site pool is great. The location is also incredibly convenient. It’s a one-minute walk to the Santa Amaro train station, so you don’t need a car to get around. We hopped on and off to visit Carcavelos and Cascais. It’s also just a few minutes to walk to the beach and access the ocean promenade. If you want green space, walk to Parque dos Poets. The restaurant at the municipal building is great, too. If you are interested in visiting this area, stay here! Elena is the best, and we’re now happy to call her a friend.

a beautiful location, and there are some very nice cats who live around the town. One nice feature of the building as well is the little garden on the 7th floor.

This place is excellent. The location and private pool make it a 5* spot. Some attention to the patio area (weeding etc) and some additional and newer kitchen equipment would be great, but this is a great Airbnb on the whole.

Villa Epicurea was an amazing place to stay! It is located in a peaceful area surrounded by nature. It is the peffrct romantic getaway! Perfect for pets as well! All the staff was super friendly and ready to help. I would easily return to this amazing place!

Das Appartmentn befindet sich direkt an der Strandpromenade von Sesimbra und hat einen herrlichen Ausblick aufs Meer. Erreichbarkeit mit dem Auto war sehr gut da eine grosse Garage im Gebäude zur Verfügung steht. Das Appartement ist toll eingerichtet, vollständig und sauber. Da wir nur eine Nacht hier verbrachten (Aufgrund von Verspätungen), hatten wir keine Möglichkeit die Umgebung und Altstadt zu erkunden. Unser Eindruck war jedoch sehr positiv, sodass wir bei einem neuerlichen Besuch hier mehr Zeit einplanen werden. Zu guter letzt war die Kommunikation mit Tiago einfach toll.

The place is very cute and the beach and how open and undeveloped the beach was is unlike anywhere else. We did three days of surf lessons from Caeser who is literally 100ft from the house down the beach and there is surfing right out your front door with board and wetsuit rentals.. The town itself is a little bleak and there wasn't much to do and we found if the weather was bad restaurants close very early (like 6pm) so just make sure to find out times if you are planning on eating out for dinner. Our family of four was in love (2 boys ages 7 and 10) but my in laws came too who are in their early 80s. I clearly wasn't thinking bc the walk to the house is through the sand and hard to navigate, my mother in law also couldn't get over the sand dune to go to the beach, and the stairs in the house are more like a ladder. so it's wonderful for able bodies but if you have someone with special needs it may not be suitable. but otherwise if you love surfing, beautiful sunsets book it!

I'm obsessed with this spot! It was perfect for my boyfriend and I, we only stayed one night but could have easily stayed here for a week or longer, would love to come back and stay here again. It's one of those spots where I wanted to make a point to hang at the apartment and catch sunset from the balcony, which overlooks the ocean/ Farol da Nazaré. Only thing to note is for people who don't want to walk as much, it is located at the top of the town so if you want to walk into town you have to go down some steep stairs and streets. However, there was a parking spot included with our spot so you can drive fairly easily if you have a car. Lastly, Flavio was flexible with us and our check in time (thank you!) so easy to communicate with and responsive, and gave us some great local recommendations (love the coffee shop, got one of the tastiest pastries of our trip there). 10/10 and thank you Flavio :)

Nous y avons séjourné 3 nuits et n’avions aucune envie de partir. C’était tout simplement un moment suspendu, seuls face à l’océan et protégés par les dunes. Idéal en famille, nous avons des enfants qui ont passé leur temps dehors. Nous reviendrons, c’est déjà prévu ! Merci pour cette opportunité.

Beautiful home in a beautiful setting. Peaceful, quiet, and I loved the orange and lemon trees. Listening to the birds while enjoying the view was a real treat! Joao was extremely professional and communicative - it’s clear he has put a lot of time and attention into the Airbnb.

Diese Unterkunft sowie auch die Gastgeberin waren einfach richtig toll. Wir haben uns von Anfang an super wohl gefühlt. Die Aussicht ist traumhaft und auch die Stadt Sesimbra, die von der Wohnung aus zu Fuß gut zu erreichen ist, bietet ein sensationelles Angebot an tollen Restaurants. Elisa ist eine unfassbar freundliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeberin die wir ausnahmslos weiterempfehlen können.

We had a wonderful stay in Setubal. This property is AMAZING. The gardens. The view. The walks. The nature. The birdsong every morning. The 2-min quick drive to town. And Coosje and Luiba, the caretaker, was absolutely wonderful in every way!! We felt so taken care of. I would stay here every time.
