Townhouse holiday rentals in Alto Alentejo

Miguel’s house is a bit further outside of the small city center, next to a gas station and the parking lots of the market. The Main Street runs directly in front of the house, so that it’s impossible to stop here to carry the luggage to the house. The beach is in a walkable distance where you find a view cafes and restaurants. The house itself is pretty new with a nice and bright furniture. Unfortunately if it rains there’s no place to eat. The only table is outside and gets pretty wet from the rain. The high chairs are a bit too high on the kitchen table. Another thing is that people who pass the house can watch inside the sleeping room. There are no curtains, either you close the (very beautiful) shutters and it’s totally dark or people can see you laying in bed. The whole house has a beautiful design. Everything was spotless clean with a good smell. The small garden is very green and well treated. In total I can highly recommend Miguel’s place.

We loved our short stay at D.'s house. Maria, who is a kind and very helpful person. The house was a great surprise, as it is nicer in person than in the photos. The private patio with barbecue, table and sun loungers is inviting to a good late afternoon. The house is very well located, 2 minutes by car from Melides beach (or 10 minutes on foot). We look forward to returning soon!

We had the most incredible time at Lia’s stunning home it exceeded all our expectations! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by how beautifully presented and thoughtfully equipped everything was. The pool was a true highlight absolutely gorgeous and the games room was a huge hit with our kids. Lia was the perfect host warm, welcoming, and full of brilliant local tips. Every recommendation was just what we were looking for and we especially enjoyed the Tik Tapas restaurant. Lia herself is so kind, and her lovely children were just as amazing. They gave us space but one day kindly asked if our kids wanted to play football which was great fun. It was such a thoughtful touch that made our stay feel even more like home. We can’t thank Lia enough for her beautiful home and generous hospitality. We’re already looking forward to returning!

Really enjoyed our stay. Communication with Tania was easy and was always quick to respond to any messages or inquiries. Really accommodating. The house itself was very well taken care of, really nice, clean and comfortable! The perfect place to stay during our travels.

We had an extraordinary stay at the Beija-Flor. Ana and Mario know how to take care of their home and garden, and are very responsive when there is a small issue to resolve. The beds are comfortable and we felt at home very quickly. The wifi is fast for work, and the garden is perfect for family meals. In short, we can only recommend Beija-Flor! The house is located in Ribamar, with several shops (grocery stores, butcher, pharmacy) and restaurants (Le Pescador and Estrela do Mar are institutions) 3 minutes' walk away, as well as a small bar in which there are regularly events. There is a perfect path for runners, a 5-minute walk from the house, which leads to the famous Ribeira d'Ilhas beach. This path, on the side of the cliff (but safe), is breathtaking! We leave the Beija-Flor with regret and can only wish a wonderful stay to the next guests!

Excellent location, extremely clean and pleasant house, D Helena is a very attentive lady, location with good food, good beach, incredible landscapes..... etc. 5 stars, I 💫💫💫 recommend it!

Ali and Tom are the nicest hosts you will find in Portugal! Attentive, kind, super careful and responsive. Their place is as described, only a couple of dunes away from Supertubes. Not a whole lot to walk to in this area but it is an easy drive to Peniche’s center and all the other beautiful beaches. Awesome place and I’ll definitely stay here again

We had a great stay here in Ericeira. The apartment was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. The location was perfect, close to the beach and town. António was a very helpful and friendly host who made everything easy. Would definitely recommend staying here.

The house is wonderful. Nicely furnished and comfortable. Great location--close to center of town, beaches and some really great restaurants. We would not hesitate renting this again.

The house is in excellent condition, all clean, tidy and renovated. It is a great option for a quiet weekend, with a clean pool and a calm environment. The host was attentive and responded quickly whenever we needed. I highly recommend it!

You won’t find many houses like this for the price. Not just in Portugal, anywhere with an ocean view/walk out your door. It’s a magical home away from the noise, and it has everything you could ever need for a long term stay. Amazing kitchen with every accessory. The top floor is now a room with a bed and desk, not lounge. Good for bigger groups. Can’t say enough good things about this stay and the surrounding areas. Only thing was loud/old doorhandles for rooms. 10 out of 10 beyond that

The place was very cosy and cute. Dinning area was excellent to spend time with family. Bedrooms cosy and warm. We had a good sleep. Kitchen was spacious and well equipted. It got everything from breakfast to super to cook by myself. Very good utensils. Washing machine works not so loudly and got drying option, which is really good for family with kids. The host was very responsive, quick to answer all the questions. Really great experiance in Lisbon.

My family and I loved this accommodation. Amazingly clean. Great bed linen and comfy bed amd pillows. Fantastic shower. Great sleep. There was an appetising welcome platter with cheese and chorizo, crackers, cherries and grapes and jam. We bought sausages from the butcher below the accommodation too. There are great details in this house that make it really very special like blankets in a basket for chilly nights, coffee capsules, lots of condiments for cooking and tea bags which was heavenly after i realised i had forgotten mine for my first morning cup of tea (i did replace 😉). We loved the outdoor terrace for eating and drying beach clothes. All the thoughtful details make this accommodation feel more like a very comfortable home than a standard airbnb. Thank you

The place is really nice and cozy, our apartment had enough space for all the members of our family (and we are five). The kitchen is fully equipped and has everything that you might need - we even had spices, olive oil, baking paper, and even ice in the fridge. The shared area is clean and spacious, we felt like at home. Though the two other apartments were also booked and we had neighbors, we felt absolutely comfortable and enjoyed the pool, the grill zone and, of course, jacuzzi; everyone was friendly and nice and the house didn’t feel “crowded” at all. The hosts are amazing, they were always quick to respond and give advice on the places around, Manuel and Diana were open and hospitable all the time of our communication - right from the message with the booking require till we left the house. A bottle of water and wine were a super lovely present to start our weekend, thank you so much! Highly recommend staying there!

Sofias house is the perfect place for a family to enjoy the beach at Foz. We stayed more than a month a loved it! Very well equipped, comfortable beds, plenty of space, high quality finishing and interior. 5 min drive to Foz beach with the amazing lagoon. Sailing school to rent hobie cats or kites right around the corner. The house is inside a gated community, so great for the kids to play outside in the street. Sofia is very caring and responsive! Thanks again!

This was my first time driving in Portugal, and unfortunately, I got lost. Manuel was waiting at the house the whole time and patiently guided me on how to drive. In the end, I arrived safely, and I’m very grateful to Mr. Manuel.

If you have a car or using Uber it's a great place to stay just 30min out of Lisboa. It's a nice quiet place with lots of stuff to do like a swimming pool, pool, table tennis, tennis, horses. We had an amazing time and would recommend it to everyone
