De weg om naar het huis te komen is erg hobbelig, maar dat staat goed beschreven. Paul wacht je halverwege op. Het huis is werkelijk schitterend, heel comfortabel en de omgeving is mooi, rustig en vredig. In de omgeving zijn veel mooie plaatsen te bezoeken en het was iedere avond weer thuiskomen. Helaas hebben we geen wandeling door de kurkenboomgaard gemaakt en geen winetasting. Ook daarvoor gaan we een keer terug. Heeeeeeel fijne plek!!!!!!

Best kept secret in Sintra! This was my fourth trip to Sintra and Carlos and Madalena’s place was beyond magical! Beautiful, serene location, peaceful and quiet, perfectly comfortable in every way! I worked remotely while there and the internet was super fast and the apartment perfectly equipped with everything one could need - including a Nespresso machine! (I wasn’t sure so I brought a portable one from home!) Carlos and Madalena were wonderful hosts, and I look forward to returning again soon! There is not a better, more beautiful, nor more ideally suited location in all Sintra! Thanks for an exceptional stay! Super easy walk down to the historic center. Evening cocktails next door at Palacio Seteais was a wonderful treat. Grocery and food delivery via Uber Eats was super easy, and many great restaurants and attractions within walking distance! 12 days was not enough! PS - for anyone visiting Sintra - Pastelaria Gregorio’s Broas de Mel (Honey Cookies) are NOT to be missed!!!

Localisation dans une vallée. A proximité (30min-1h) d'activitées et visites. Nous avons reçu les informations à l'avance afin de trouver la maison. Nous avons réussi grâce aux coordonnées GPS. Nous avons été accueillis par nos hôtes. Cela fait plaisir d'avoir pu échanger avec eux et avoir des recommandations de visites et restaurants. Ils sont restés à notre écoute selon nos besoins. Les enfants ont adoré jouer avec leur chienne Ruby avant nos visites. Belle maison mitoyenne aux hôtes. Les photos correspondent. C'est une demeure typique Portugaise. Elle était bien équipé pour nous. Le canapé et les matelas ont peut être un peu vécu selon notre confort. Cela ne nous a pas empêché de passer de très bons moments au bord de la piscine, de calme dans les hamacs et des apéros ensoleillés sur la terrasse avec des parties de ping ping. Nous recommandons.

The place was very quiet, with a nice garden area. We didn’t even feel that the owner’s family was living upstairs, since we didn’t hear any noise at all. We had all the amenities needed, and slept very well in comfy beds. The fact that we were allowed to use the parking inside the house was very handy. The communication with Angelina was very easy and she responded promptly to our questions. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a nice quiet neighborhood, with easy access to Lisbon and Cascais/Sintra areas.

Firstly a huge thanks to Paula, who was such a warm and welcoming spirit! Her attention to detail and good vibes made the whole experience even better. The Cork House was a little slice of paradise. Beautiful, clean, peaceful. The perfect getaway, with so much to see and do within driving distance. Castelo de Vide is a charming town, full of character. Paula also helped organise a pottery workshop on-site, which we loved. The setting in the garden at the end of a hot day was just perfect. Our only regret was not staying longer. We really hope to be back soon!

Very nice host and a clean and proper bnb to stay at. We enjoyed how clean it was when we arrived, and it was exactly as described. The host was able to communicate quickly, and she was very kind as well.

Excellent séjour chez Bernardo et Patricia. De notre arrivée jusqu’à notre depart une communication fiable, chaleureuse et ayant répondu à tous nos besoins. Leur appartement est de tout confort, bien agencé et spacieux. Le plus pour les attentions et petits cadeaux pendant notre séjour. Très belle rencontre pour un bon séjour au Portugal à 30 minutes de Lisbonne et de pleins d’autres endroits à visiter.Avoir une voiture sur place est un plus. Nous recommandons fortement. Abrigado

El apartamento está ubicado en una aldea muy tranquila, con tienda de alimentación y un café. A 5 mn en coche, y 15 mn a pié, hay un varias playas y una oferta variada de de restaurantes. Comparte parcela jardín, huerto y aparcamiento, zona para tender, con otros tres alojamientos, pero con distancia suficiente para tener intimidad. En las zonas comunes hay un bonito y soleado jardín con muebles de terraza donde puedes tomar el sol, desayunar..leer etcétera. La vivienda es de reciente construcción con materiales de calidad y está amueblada con gusto y buen mobiliario. En relación a la limpieza está impecable. Nosotros hemos repetido éste año, ya que nos ofrece todo lo que necesitamos. Ésta zona de Portugal es una joya, ofrece muchas cosas que ver y hacer y tiene un turismo proporcionado, familiar, y tranquilo.. Eugenia y Julia han estado pendientes y atentas respondiendo rápido a cualquier necesidad. ha sido un placer. Repetiremos.

I had a wonderful stay! The accommodation was spotlessly clean, stylishly furnished (especially the art is just stunning) and exactly as shown in the photos. The location was perfect – quiet and perfect for me to work and yet still central, near the coast and lisbon was perfectly to reach as well as by car or by bus. I especially want to highlight the hospitality – Joanna was super friendly, helpful, and always available if I had any questions. She offered me some food because i came on a day an electric shutdown day, where it was more than chaotoic in the city, she gave me extra towls when my friends came over and she fixed problems immediately. I felt completely comfortable and would come back anytime. Highly recommended!

Wir haben uns bei Sabrina und Hélio rundum wohlgefühlt. Das Apartment ist einzigartig und mit viel Liebe zum Detail im Stil eines Bootshauses gestaltet – ein echter Wohlfühlort. Es ist an alles gedacht: Die Küche ist hervorragend ausgestattet, es war blitzsauber und es fehlt an nichts. Die Lage ist herrlich ruhig und das Meer ist ganz in der Nähe. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen – alles in allem ein wunderbarer Aufenthalt. Vielen Dank, Sabrina und Hélio!

O espaço da Sara e Jeremy é maravilhoso. Muito acolhedor, limpeza impecável, cheirinho maravilhoso por toda a casa, a decoração com muito bom gosto. A cozinha fez-nos lembrar as casas de Santorini! As camas eram muito confortáveis! Gostámos que a televisão tivesse sessão de Netflix disponível para os hóspedes, e podemos aproveitar um bom filme na sala. A Sara e o Jeremy foram muito atenciosos e estiveram sempre disponíveis para qualquer dúvida. Já para não falar dos animais que eram uns amores! A piscina é espetacular, apanha sol todo o dia e apesar de parecer pequena, é suficiente para podermos refrescar-nos nos dias mais quentes. O pátio privado foi ótimo para podermos tomar o pequeno almoço e almoçar ao som dos passarinhos. O jardim estava sempre imaculado, o Jeremy de manhã tratava de o arranjar. Gostámos muito de Azeitão e iremos com certeza voltar em breve!

This was by far the most extraordinary Airbnb family we’ve stayed with. Ricardo was extremely responsive from the beginning and helped us with everything from carrying heavy bags, giving us fantastic local recommendations, and answering any questions that we had. The space fit my group perfectly, was very clean and had a beautiful view of the area. It is walking distance to the beach and one of the area’a best beach clubs and close by to anything else you’ll need. I highly recommend a stay with Ricardo and family and will definitely be staying here when I return to Comporta!

Estadia maravilhosa na casa de Elizângela! Além da simpatia e amabilidade, a casa estava impecavelmente limpa e arrumada, contendo o necessário para uns dias relaxantes e longe da movimentação da cidade grande. Muito perto, cerca de 2 a 3 km situa-se a Praia Fluvial dos Olhos de Água que é simplesmente linda. A casa tinha serviço de TV (vodafone), livros, consola de jogos, e outros jogos de tabuleiro, bem como um espaço exterior com cesto de basquetebol e churrasqueira, ideal para passar tempo ao ar livre e ir com crianças. Além disso a Elizângela e a sua família aceitam animais, o que permitiu que levasse a minha cadela Nina e a incluísse nestas miniférias de Páscoa. Recomendo a todos e com certeza seria uma estadia a repetir. Obrigada por tudo, sentimo-nos em casa!

Very nice place to stay!

Beautiful location: great for walking locally, plenty of historic sites nearby, the coast is only a short drive away. The bungalow has everything you need and is spotlessly clean. Beautiful view from the lounge. Very friendly host.

We hebben een fijne vakantie gehad met ons gezin. Het huis is erg schoon en netjes. Een kastje met speelgoed voor onze dochter viel erg in de smaak. het zwembad was heerlijk en er zijn meerdere plekken in de tuin om te kunnen zitten. We kregen ook een mandje erwten van eigen oogst en mijn dochter mocht verse aardbeien plukken. Erg aardig en gastvrij. Een aanrader als je op zoek bent naar een rustig verblijf in rustige omgeving.

Apartamento fiel a la descripción. Lo mejor es la piscina y el espacio a su alrededor que se comparte con otros inquilinos pero que poco coincidimos con ellos. En el interior unicamente echamos de menos que la tv sólo estaba en francés (aunque se puede acceder a aplicaciones tipo netflix) y un horno, pero ambas cosas no nos parecieron indispensables. Didier fue muy amable y hospitalario. Pena que no pudimos hablar mucho porque no manejamos los mismos idiomas. Tuvimos un pequeño problema en el apartamento por falta de entendimiento pero en cuanto nos entendimos lo solucionó con celeridad. La casa queda cerca de Foz do Arelho (se puede ir andando) y de la playa. Foz es pequeño, tranquilo y agradable con algún restaurante y tienda. A 15 min. en coche tienes Caldas da Rainha con todos los servicios (hipermercados, restaurantes...). Resumiendo: apartamento sin grandes lujos pero con lo indispensable, con un espacio exterior espectacular y cerca de la playa. Anfitriones muy agradables.

Elió and Ju are fantastic hosts! Communication and access to the house was flawless and the place itself is a little gem. But what stood out was their engagement in making us feel at home. Elió not only provided dining and cultural recommendations but even arranged beach toys for our 18 month old son. Thanks for the very pleasant stay! We would be happy to return again. Elif is an amazing host, always attentive and kind. All her recommendations were very helpful. The house is big and wonderful and is located in a quiet and nice area. My kids had a lot of fun in the pool and the play house was their favourite. We really enjoyed our stay, we would like to return another time. :)

Un grand merci à Catarina et à la petite Teresa pour l’accueil plus que chaleureux ! La petite maison est très charmante et très bien entretenue. Tout est mis en place pour bien s’y sentir … comme à la maison ! Notre hôte est à notre disposition pour toutes questions. Côté emplacement, c’est parfait puisque en 10mn nous sommes à la plage et en 25mn au centre ville de Lisbonne. Nous avons adoré ; nous avons l’habitude de voyager dans la région alors nous y retournerons avec certitude.
