Take a boat, or walk to Torno to find a bar, cafe, shop, and restaurants. Como is a short drive, and public transport is close by. E' raggiungibile con i mezzi di trasporto pubblico : gli autobus C30 C31 C32 con partenza ogni ora circa dalla stazione ferroviaria Como San Giovanni , Como Lago Ferrovie Nord o da Piazza Matteotti in direzione Como- Bellagio, impiegano circa 8 min per raggiungere la fermata Blevio - Decorazioni Savio, distante 100 m circa dall' abitazione. Alternativa piacevole al trasporto pubblico tradizionale può essere l'uso dei battelli della navigazione del Lago di Como, con partenza da Piazza Cavour in direzione Torno, da dove camminando per circa 15 min raggiungerete la destinazione. It can be reached by public transport: buses C30 C31 C32 departing approximately every hour from the Como San Giovanni railway station, Como Lago Ferrovie Nord or from Piazza Matteotti towards Como-Bellagio, take about 8 minutes to reach the Blevio stop - Decorations Savio, about 100 m away from the house. A pleasant alternative to traditional public transport may be the use of Lake Como navigation boats, departing from Piazza Cavour in the direction of Torno, from where walking for about 15 minutes you will reach the destination. I ALLOW ME TO STRONGLY RECOMMEND THE SMALLEST AND CHEAPEST CAR, TO MOVE INDEPENDENTLY, AS IN OUR AREA PUBLIC TRANSPORT AND TAXIS ARE NOT COFORTABLE Villa Pasta The villa was built in the early XIX cen- tury and was bought in 1830 by the famous opera singer Giuditta Pasta hosting space for its several guests. In the park the fol lowing built: the studio painting of Clelia, Giuditta's daughter, who attended the Brera Academy in Milan; the cafe-house, a small cave to cool in the summer; the wooden theater where Giuditta practised singing. Captain Wilhelm Locke, grandson of the famous philosopher, drowned in front of his wife and other guests in the lake area in front of the villa. Later his daughter erected a gravestone in his memory. In the small ceme- tery of Blevio it is possible to visit the grave of Giuditta Pasta who died in 1865.

This is an excellent choice should you be leaving early from Milan airport ( the airport is over an hour from Milan central) Spotlessly clean, big room and even bigger bathroom and the airport drop-off service( extra payment) makes everything so easy before a long flight. The driver was a fabulous young man who made a lasting memory. Highly recommend this establishment.

We (4 people + Pinscher) were guests of Margherita and her parents for three nights. The apartment was, thanks to the great description, very easy to find and the reception by her parents very warm! The apartment was in a pristine and sparkling clean condition. Everything was as described and even more beautiful in person than in the pictures. Everything that is needed to feel comfortable has really been thought of. The apartment is very conveniently and beautifully located. Everything important can be reached on foot in a few minutes. Supermarket, bank, bar, etc. The castle and the pretty church directly "due passi" from the apartment are also very nice. In Somma, you can also find everything you need for your daily needs. We thank Margherita and her dear parents for the beautiful accommodation and the more than warm hospitality. We felt very welcome and comfortable!

Stayed here for one night due to the amazing location near the airport. Grazia offered to pick me up from the airport as there was no public transport available at the time of my arrival. She was also very helpful with local recommendations and tips. The room was very clean and matched the pictures perfectly. Would definitely stay here again, best Airbnb experience I’ve had so far!

Ciro’s place is perfect for anyone needing to stay a few days close to the airport — the train takes only 10 minutes to get there. The room was very comfortable, with air conditioning and a desk where I could work. I had a great night's sleep. Check-in was easy, and the place was simple to find. Ciro and Giovanna are incredibly friendly and communicative — truly some of the best people I’ve met. I’ll definitely stay here again!

We were two adults and 3 small children, spending a long weekend in the Tiny House. The location is just perfect, a secluded little heaven with a beautiful garden. Our children loved the outside space, the dogs and the horses. The house was comfortable. Chiara was very friendly and responsive to our requests. We enjoyed our stay and would come back any time :)
