Nestled on the foot of mount Giouchtas, in the picturesque village of Archanes, our stone countryhouse is located in one of the most central and beautiful parts of the area. Archanes are 20 minutes away from the centre of Heraklion(15km), 15 minutes away from Heraklion's International airport, 15 minutes away from the famous Minoan palace of Knossos, as well as 20 minutes away from numerous beautiful beaches. Situated in the center of the most important wine-producing region of Crete, it has a 5000 years old history, while excavations conducted in the last 50 years have brought to light a lot of sites dating back to the Minoan period. The village is also very famous for its typical Cretan architecture. Most of the houses have been restored recently and Archanes has won the second award as “the best restored village in Europe”. The house enjoys a spacious interior and a private garden, which is protected by a peripheral wall. This is a typical characteristic of old Cretan houses of the area. Guests enter the private garden through the gate which then leads to the main building. I am always at the disposal of my guests, so that I can make their holiday problem-free. A cozy 50 sqm house was initially built for my family‘s summer vacations. It is located in the center of the village and just 10 meters from the beach. Mochlos is a small fishing village, famous for the hospitality of the local people. It has small but picturesque beaches. In the village there is a Mini Market for your basic needs, in just 30 minutes drive you can visit bigger towns of Lassithi prefecture. Among other activities scuba diving and water sports are offered for your entertainment.

The nearest sandy swimming places are Ammoudara beach (400m) and Listi Spilios beach (250m). Agios Nikolaos town is 4 klm or 5 minute car drive away. With a nice sea view to the gulf of Mirabello and close to the country side of eastern Crete, ideal to explore the Mediterranean nature.

New house in the center of Agios Nikolaos. Spacious for 3 people, with all the amenities for a memorable stay. Agios Nikolaos Square is a 2-minute walk and the beach is 1 minute away. Next to the house there is an organized parking lot where you can park at a small cost. The house consists of the main room that includes the kitchen and the living room with a sofa that becomes a bed. In the bedroom there is a double bed and a baby crib if needed.

VILLA SPILIO is a stone house built on a small cape. From every part of the house the guest can enjoy the endless blue of the Aegean Sea. It has a large bed and a sofa bed and all the necessary household appliances. Outside, there is a large courtyard with trees and lots of flowers. Finally, the guest can enjoy swimming in the sea in peace since they have private access to the sea and relax on the sun loungers that the accommodation has.

It consists of a single room with a living room, kitchen and dining area. Two bedrooms and a bathroom. At the backyard of the residence there is a private pool with a hydromassage and seating area for relaxation.
