Beach house holiday rentals in Anchor Bay

The River View House was wonderful! Very quiet and peaceful - great for the 7 guests we brought. The river was fun for a quick dip once in a while. The home was clean and spacious. Plenty of linens, towels, and kitchen dishes for us. Nancy was super responsive and helpful. We are planning to come back to the same rental again! We didn’t add on the studio, but likely will next time if we have more guests or more than 2 couples.

Truly enjoyed our stay. Had a great time walking to the beach, seeing wildlife in the yard and neighborhood, and exploring the area.

We had such a wonderful and relaxing time at Jason’s house. The views were amazing and the location is the best we’ve stayed in at Sea Ranch. The path to the bluff trail was right next to the house and just a short walk you get to amazing tide pools (my daughter and I woke up early to make it at low tide!) and really the best pacific coast views. Jason’s house was immaculate and we really appreciated how complete the kitchen was!! And the blue bottle and intelligentsia coffee beans were a great treat. The hot tub was also great to use after swimming in the rec center. Thank you Jason!!

This place was so amazing and beautiful! It was well worth the stay; I’m honestly surprised it wasn’t more expensive!

Incredible. The house and location is like being in a dream, like a stay in another world - With the house on the water, the soft waves lapping under the house, the cormorants diving for fish, the ribbons of fog that pass through the bay in front of you.... Hog Island Oyster is right down the road on top of it all. Everything was perfect and I appreciate that such an amazing place is shared by the owners. We will be back!

Casa Balena was a joy! Beautiful location (you can’t go wrong with Sea Ranch), good amenities (both at the house and the community), and so peaceful. The house was well stocked with everything you might need, including dishes/cookware in the kitchen. My family (a group of six, including a young child, two teenagers, two parents, and a grandparent) was very comfortable; lots of room, plenty of games on hand, etc. A great stay!

My wife and I stayed here for our 5 year anniversary and I couldn't have found a better spot to get away to. It was such a cozy and peaceful location, and Aaron's home had everything we could ever need during our stay. The views were incredible, and the weather was fantastic. Aaron provided an extremely detailed guide to the area that helped us get a feel for where to go and what to do, and we hope to come back someday and stay again to experience more of the beauty of the surrounding area!

Jen's place was absolutely wonderful. We've stayed in many airbnb's & this is our favorite. The views are literally jaw dropping. The listing pictures are beautiful but don't even do justice to the views. Her home was very comfortable with great linen blend comforters, soft cotton/flannel sheets. The hot tub heats up well to a perfect temperature with an exterior door right beside to the shower. The master bath had wonderful rose scented lotion that I already found online & had some sent to myself! We enjoyed open windows listening to the waves crash below. The full kitchen was well appointed with everything including a hand written pancake recipe on the inside pantry wall & waffle iron as nice touches. Did I mention the views of the ocean from the kitchen too while cooking?! So quiet, peaceful and lots of natural light with all the winows. We enjoyed the wood stove as well. We hope to be back ! Our second stay, and just as wonderful as last time. The views are unbeatable, and the ability to walk to the lodge is an amazing benefit (I loved being able to grab a coffee there in the morning, or knowing I could have a few drinks and walk home!). Beds were comfy. To note, the blinds in the rooms aren’t blackout so the mornings are bright — but ideally you’re up then anyways to enjoy the gorgeous views!

My husband Josh and I had an unforgettable time at Cindi’s place in Sea Ranch. The home was even more beautiful than the photos—unique architecture, cozy design, and right on the beach. Every evening we watched the waves crash on the rocks just outside the window. It was peaceful, stunning, and truly magical. Cindi was a fantastic host, super helpful and kind. We’re already dreaming of coming back!

This was our second stay at A Slice of Heaven. Just as wonderful as the first time. The home was welcoming and warm. Anu was very responsive and our stay was great!

We couldn't have asked for a more perfect place to stay during our time on the coast. This home is absolutely incredible-- breathtaking views, gorgeous decor, large kitchen with ample cookware, amazing deck, CLEAN, comfortable beds, fantastic location. Sea Ranch itself is a wonderful place for those seeking a quiet & peaceful area surrounded by awe-inspiring natural beauty. Pauline is an excellent host with great communication who went above & beyond to ensure we had a great stay. I highly recommend Seaward Bliss, and I can't wait to return again one day!

Came back for a second stay, and was as wonderful and peaceful as we remembered it to be. The home is an incredible retreat - great views, and everything we needed for a relaxing two days away from the city. Appliances are top notch, and everything is thoughtfully laid out. Carolyn is a very thoughtful host, and quickly answered questions we had. Would recommend this home for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway, and we would love to be back again in the future!

What a beautiful spot! The drive on HWY 1 is a bit harrowing, winding and up against cliffs, but well worth it once you land at Sea Ranch! The home is stunning with awesome views of the ocean, and the hikes along the coast offer breathtaking views. Everything was even more beautiful than pictured, both inside and out! There isn’t anything walkable in terms of a town or restaurants, but the atmosphere is so peaceful yet invigorating. Shaheen and Eugene were extremely responsive (within an hour), and very helpful with our questions about the area and availability of supplies. We had traveled from the East Coast and had a 4 mo old baby with us, and none of us had been to Northern CA. Highly recommend!!

Wonderful space for 5 friends, a dog and a baby! Gorgeous ocean view, right next to trails, and close to town. Kitchen was well-equipped for cooking on nights in. Main bedrooms were spacious and comfortable, and the sofa bed easily accommodated a single person. Would definitely stay again!

Our stay was lovely, can’t wait to return! Jeff was an exceptional host—attentive, helpful, and went above and beyond to make our experience special. The location was perfect, perched on a hill and nestled against the woods, yet facing the ocean, offering breathtaking views. It was the perfect balance of serenity and stunning scenery. Absolutely Stunning Stay! This stay was truly memorable. The views were unreal — panoramic ocean vistas and the most breathtaking sunsets right from the property. Every evening felt like a postcard moment. The space was clean, peaceful, and beautifully maintained, making it the perfect spot to relax and unwind. What made the stay even better was the host — incredibly kind, responsive, and thoughtful throughout our visit. Any questions we had were answered almost immediately, and they went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time. If you’re looking for a place with unmatched views and a fantastic host, this is it. Highly recommend and would absolutely stay again!

Beautiful property and location. The views from the house were just as good, if not better, than the state park vista points. The house was clean and well stocked with anything you might need. We enjoyed all the little details put into in the backyard. You get an amazing view of the sunset every evening. In case this is helpful for anyone, there is a Tesla charger in the garage. We were told there wasn’t an EV charger so we planned accordingly. Would stay here again!

The views from this location can’t be captured in pics. It was stunning! A perfect place to retreat and relax. The beach was spectacular, and the home has large windows to still enjoy when you’re inside. Piper was a wonderful host-thank you!

Had a wonderful stay at Danielle’s place. It is such a comfortable, beautiful, and peaceful place to relax and enjoy the beautiful nature! Wonderful beaches and parks nearby, and just a couple minutes away from all the stores and restaurants in Gualala. The house had absolutely everything we needed, it’s clear that Danielle took care of every detail. The host was very accommodating and easy to reach. Would love to come back!

We had such a peaceful and rejuvenating stay at this beautiful Sea Ranch home. From the moment we walked in, we were struck by the cleanliness and thoughtful attention to detail throughout. Every amenity we could possibly need was provided—it truly felt like a home away from home. We especially loved the quiet surroundings and the sweet-smelling coastal air. The cozy daybeds tucked into the corner windows quickly became our favorite reading nooks, and the bidet was an unexpected luxury we genuinely appreciated. This home was the perfect place for my husband and me to unwind and reconnect. We can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend!

Bret & Phil's place is an EXPERIENCE. From the decor, to the redwood, to the spa and beautiful outdoor garden - everything was more than what my family could've asked for. Everything was clean, well-kept, and designed with quality in mind. You can tell that Bret and Phil really care about providing the best of experiences - they were very responsive throughout our stay and the entire house is filled with little thoughtful touches that just made the stay even more memorable. Per my father, "This is the most peaceful I've felt in years." 10/10 would stay here again.

Our stay in this beautiful home was just a delight! The trees are magnificent and every window looks like a moving postcard! The space is relaxing and comfortable. The fireplace was beautiful to enjoy and the private hot tub on the deck is perfect! We would absolutely return!
