Forest Floor Guesthouse

The lower level of our Jewel Lake Home with a separate entry, and fun backyard. This is a recent remodel; an eclectic space with vintage wood ceilings and a blend of industrial+ modern detailing. We are 5 minute drive from the airport, and guests can enjoy Alaskan wilderness right from this space. A forested trail system lies right behind our house for walking and biking. Guests may collect eggs from our chickens, use our forest-side hot tub, stoke the firepit, or use paddle boards at Sand Lake.

We aim for you to feel as though you’re visiting family. The property features a spacious yard with a swing set & sandbox for kids. Pat may greet you on arrival & is always happy to share his love of Alaska & local insights. The cabin is conveniently located between Alyeska ski resort and Girdwood town square (next to Girdwood Brewing Company!). Thoughtful and modern amenities with a log cabin design - attention to the small details. Romantic retreat or family vacation; sleeps 2 couples or a family of 4 comfortably (additional guests upon request). Ideal for Alaskan adventures - skiing in winter and hiking/glacier/wildlife sightseeing in the summer. A-Chalet welcomes you as you explore the beauty of Alaska!

Alaskan Studio

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. This cozy studio feels like a peaceful cabin with the amenities of a home. A Queen platform bed in its private nook with custom shelving and the perfect relaxing area to enjoy your 55in smart TV. The mini kitchen features an induction stovetop, microwave toaster oven. The studio has a walk-in shower and washer and dryer. Although we are pup friendly there is a limit of 1 dog. We can't accommodate cats. Large yard but it is not fenced.

The Johnson House Cottage

The cottage is a secluded guesthouse in a friendly neighborhood with spectacular views of the Knik Glacier and river. This retreat has room for up to four guests. It is an open floor plan with a double bed on the ground floor and twin beds in an upstairs loft. The kitchen has an induction cooktop, refrigerator, coffee pot, microwave. Propane BBQ on the deck and bathroom with a shower. Our cottage is not visible from the parking area so self check-in is not an option.

Hillside Haven - Cozy & Bright!

Convenient, calm and spacious 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom apartment on the Anchorage hillside. Just a few minutes from all of the conveniences of the city, but tucked away in a quiet neighborhood close to trails, parks, Hilltop Ski Area, the Alaska Zoo, and lots of other fun adventures! Features include fully equipped laundry room and kitchen, Smart TV, and super fast WiFi. Settle in and enjoy a quiet, cozy, hillside retreat.

Walk to downtown, the famous Coastal Trail, quaint eateries, elegant restaurants, fabulous bakeries, local brew pubs, and more! This unit is a walkers delight. Enjoy easy access to downtown and our famous Coastal Trail (great for birding, running, biking) without needing a car! Owners are very knowledgeable about local restaurants as well as hiking, biking, and other activities. We are happy to share what we know!

Beautiful fully furnished spacious one bedroom apartment. Included pots, pans, dishes, full kitchen, stereo, Dish TV. Unlimited high speed internet, laundry facilities and more. Private entry with free parking on secluded 3 acre wooded lot. Only seven minute drive from restaurants and shopping at Huffman business Park, or Abbott Road businesses and only 15 minutes from the airport or downtown.

20 minutes from the airport, enjoy the peace and quiet of a cozy and comfortable cabin nestled in the Chugach mountains overlooking the inlet and city, with regular moose sightings and access to trail systems.
