Holiday rentals with lake access in Anchorage

We had a great stay! The host (Ken/Stephanie) was very responsive and helpful—when we messaged them late at night about an issue, they replied quickly. Overall the stay was enjoyable, nice quite place, ready clean house with 4 Bed / 2 Baths , overlooking the mountains and the positive experiences we had outweighed the issue. Another highlight was the friendly neighborhood. The neighbors were so kind—they even lent us hiking gear, which was a pleasant surprise! Overall, the positive experiences far outweighed the issue we encountered which was solved by Host. I would definitely recommend this place—it's not too far from downtown, offers a quiet environment, and again hosts very responsive and caring.

Kathy's is the ideal spot for folks who want to be close, but not too, to downtown for its activities and dining etc. We enjoyed at the end of the day, sitting on her deck and just watching the lake and mountains. Clean and well kept, the house is very livable. We'll certainly look to see if Kathy's is available when next we visit Anchorage.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Great accommodations and had everything that we needed. Great host and communication was great. Any questions that we had were quickly replied to. Would definitely recommend this place.

Lovely place! Linda and Rick were so friendly and helpful. They are experts of surrounding exploration and fishing. They provided a lot of useful information touring around Anchorage. 100% recommend!

Sadly we were all ill with the flu for our week in Anchorage but Sharon’s lovely home was extremely comfortable, with excellent beds and recliners which was really welcome when we felt so awful. The homeliness really made it for us. We enjoyed the view over the lake with the eagles turning up the night before we left and putting on a show. Sharon was so friendly and helpful and it was lovely to meet her and her husband. She has a wonderful collection of art and baskets which we enjoyed. Rentals can often feel sterile but this was absolutely not the case here. We couldn’t enjoy Anchorage to the full but we would absolutely recommend this as a place to base yourself.

This was a wonderful place to stay while we visited Anchorage. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and was in an extremely convenient location. It was quiet, and there was a very pretty view of a small lake in the back of the house. Highly recommend this Airbnb!

What a cozy place to land in Anchorage! Our family of four felt right at home the moment we walked through the door. Lynette’s space is well curated and inviting, making it the perfect spot to unwind after a day of travel. Lynette was always available and shows utmost care for her guests. We highly recommend this stay!

Room for people who want quiet and safe is best choice, Host is very kind, she took me go to hiking,we had very nice talk,she take care of me like family, location is close to bus stop,even you don’t have a car,easy get to airport and downtown. I do recommend you choose this place to stay in anchoage.

After spending a lot of time in the mountains without any communications, I got back to Anchorage to find most of the hotels fully booked. I looked on the Air B&B website & found Ryan’s place. Communication was very responsive and he offered a great rate. The house was very clean and had loads of space so I could sort my gear out. The facilities inside were great and I managed to clean most of my clothes/equipment during my stay. The bed was very comfortable and I had a superb nights sleep. He was very flexible when I needed to check out offered additional time in case I needed it. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone in the Anchorage area. Thanks again Ryan for the stay

Great location, I was so impressed that we were almost always 6-7 minutes from anything we were trying to do in town. The place was very clean and comfortable, and really loved the layout with the couch at the foot end of the bed with the big TV mounted right there. At one point we messaged Jessica about needing a few things and some sugar and she was nice enough to bring it down to us. A great spot that we plan to book for our future trips while doing baseball tournaments in Anchorage.

I had a wonderful stay at this cozy little apartment in Alaska! The space was spotless, warm, and well-equipped with everything I needed.The views were absolutely stunning—waking up to snow-capped mountains was a dream. The host was responsive, kind, and made check-in a breeze. I’d absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful, scenic getaway with all the comforts of home.

If you're looking for a place that truly feels like home during your time off, this is it. There’s absolutely nothing negative to say—everything was spot on. The location is perfect: peaceful, with a stunning view from the terrace, and conveniently close to everything in town. Alexandra and Forrest were incredibly proactive hosts. We never even had to ask questions—they had already thought of everything. Their local recommendations were spot-on and made our stay even better. The home itself is cozy and welcoming, and the hosts made it exceptional. We wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone visiting Anchorage.
