This was my first stay at a hostel where bathrooms were shared. I was a bit nervous at the idea but it was never an issue. The rooms were very comfortable, the bed and sheets were great. Nice and clean, with lots of nice little amenities like K-Cup coffees, microwave and a more than large enough mini-fridge, a small desk and chair for laptop work and a TV with a Roku. The shared bathrooms were very clean, with clear rules/instructions laid out. Never had an issue between using the bathroom or taking a shower as far as getting in any other guests way or vice versa. Even though the rooms all appeared to be filled, the only time we saw anyone else was when we were checking out and loading our vehicle. My son said he slept really well at the location and we both agreed we would stay here again if we came back to the area!

The apartment was on the 14th floor in one of the only taller residential buildings in Anchorage, which offered great views of the city and surrounding mountains! The apartment check-in was so easy. Very clean inside. Hardly saw any other residents of the building. Ample outdoor parking in lot by building. Did not use kitchenette, but coffee pot available for use.

Maddie‘s house was exactly as described. The neighborhood was relatively quiet. It is on street parking so you do have to pari across or down the street because of a fire hydrant but it’s very close. Maddie was great and let me pop back quick after my race to shower quick. I would definitely stay here again!

I love Caleb’s place! Fairview is a great neighborhood to stay in and his place was far better than my first Airbnb in Fairview. He was very responsive and flexible in meeting me for check in. He was super friendly and his house is amazing! There is a cozy fireplace in the living room which I unfortunately didn’t get the chance to use (it was too nice out), and the whole living room smells like lavender (lilac)! The house was clean and cute and the bed was so cozy! The backyard has a forest behind it and although I didn’t see any, Caleb said that moose often walk by.

Mid-Century Gem by Local Artist

We absolutely recommend this place!! While it was quite expensive, it was worth it for us as the home is beautiful and is even better than the photos. Floor to ceiling windows, really comfortable furniture and immaculately clean. Warm and cozy in the winter. Julie responded immediately. The only recommendation that I have for improvement : is for a better stocked kitchen and more comfortable pillows. Next to park, grocery store, chickadee coffee shop, and can walk downtown in warm weather. Thanks so much Julie.
