Holiday rentals with a kayak in Androscoggin County

Extremely peaceful and relaxing! The rental is more like a home than a cottage/camp with its recent tasteful, pleasing, and very functional renovations (the flooring was well done and looked great; the mini-split system made it very comfortable even when it was in the 90’s; and, the new furnishings were attractive and comfortable). We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!

Violeta and her space were amazing. The house was exactly as advertised and we felt right at home for our long weekend. We are looking forward to making this a yearly visit!

My wife and I spent our first year anniversary in this wonderful home. We had a great time enjoying the fall colors and over looking the beautiful pond, especially in the morning as the fog broke. Within 15 minutes there were several grocery shopping options, restaurants, and breweries. Perfect balance of being in a quiet setting but having amenities nearby. Would recommend and hope to go back next autumn!

House was great, and our guests had no complaints at all, we very much appreciate the accommodations.

We had a wonderful stay at Sally's place! It was comfortable and we had everything we needed. We especially appreciated the kayaks being available. The area is also very beautiful!

Our stay at Jordan’s beautiful place was wonderful. The house is exactly as pictured. The one addition is that along with the kayaks, there are also two paddle boards and a couple of pool noodles. We enjoyed everything from the spacious rooms to the fire pit outside (for s’mores) to the cozy indoor gar fireplace. We had a few questions and a concern during our stay and Jordan was very responsive and hospitable. He even came by to ensure everything was ok. Lastly, the neighbors are incredibly friendly and the neighborhood/lake is quiet and peaceful. Plus it’s about 45 minutes to Freeport (for great shopping) and Portland (for delicious meals). Whether you’re looking for a quick getaway or a longer stay, Jordan’s place is perfect for both couples and families.

I had a wonderful 2-day stay at this lake house with my friends. The place was clean, cozy, and exactly as described by the host. We really enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and beautiful surroundings — it was the perfect spot for a quick getaway by the lake. The hosts were very responsive and answered any questions quickly. Great cabin! Remote and beautiful. Hot tub was lovely. James was communicative and his folks took care of snow plowing right away after a storm. Would definitely stay again.

Allison was an extremely friendly and responsive host. There were even supplies ready for coffee and s'mores! Any questions we had were promptly answered. She checked in to make sure that we had everything we needed and gave some great recommendations for local restaurants! We highly recommend Daddy-O's for breakfast and Nonesuch River Brewing for lunch or dinner, both are very close by. The walking trails were well maintained and gave so many opportunities to explore walking by the two ponds. We will be recommending this to anyone looking for a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle while still being close to anything you need.

Fantastic location! Peaceful, tranquil & serene - could not get any better! Clear communication by owners, check in/out an absolute breeze. Amenities were amazing, the Chalet was clean & inviting. This was a great place to stay for our family!

A great house and location right on the water. We arrived well after dark, Tom came and met us at the property to make sure we got situated. Plenty of room for a family of four and more. We enjoyed the boats and fishing and hiking in the area. The game room was nice to have on a rainy day. The kitchen has everything you need. Really enjoyed our long weekend here.

The cabin was very clean and the location was beautiful. Marc was responsive and the instructions were clear on how to find it. Everything was as described and we would definitely stay again. Thank you!

Great location - rustic, but well supplied, with a great library. Kayaks were a plus, though unfortunately the weather was not conducive to us using them as much as we'd like. Overall, a nice place to get the whole family together for a celebration!

Great place for a quiet week away on fun little pond. Nearby attractions for Southern Maine, hiking trails, restaurants, casino nearby. Check in was easy and host is very responsive via text. Description for the home is extremely accurate. Definitely recommend and will more than likely make this a place to visit again soon!

Wonderful,private, well equipped cottage on pretty pond. Owners quick to respond to our texts. Relaxing hot tub and fantastic sauna! Many restaurants and breweries within a 30 minute drive. Book it ..... you won't wanna leave!

Me and my friends stay at this cabin was absolutely wonderful. It was very cozy and we all felt right at home. There was enough space for multiple people to stay comfortably. There were many activities provided such as board games, books, corn hole, and canoeing. The fire pit was also great and easy to use. Both of the bathrooms were clean and spacious. Same goes for the rooms, everyone was able to sleep comfortably. Overall, this cabin was perfect for a weekend getaway.

Everything you need to relax and enjoy the lake. Privacy, boats of all sorts, a comfortable home. A real family vacation in an extraordinarily beautiful place.

What a beautiful location. What a terrific camp. Caitlin's place is exactly the Maine Lakeside experience you could hope for. Echo lake is a gem. The surrounding environment is magnificent. The water is clear and cool. The cabin is very spacious with lots of room. My Grandchildren had a great swim and then enjoyed the fun tower bunk room while I cooked dinner. They did not want to leave!

Beautiful place. Perfect getaway. Paul was very nice and helpful. Great recommendations for places to go. Very responsive to any questions we had. I could sit on the deck for days and watch the pond and soak up the sun. Only regrets was we had more rain than sun and unable to enjoy a bonfire. But thats Maine. Lol Cant wait to plan a trip back.

The family really enjoyed our stay at Winter Brook. The kids loved the property and really enjoyed paddling the kayaks down the river. The place was very quiet and secluded. We would highly recommend for large families.

My husband and I stayed here for a week and we could not have been happier with our trip. We spent the majority of our time in Maine at Baljunor, enjoying the house and the grounds. On the cooler September days, we snuggled into sweaters and read on one of the numerous docks or napped in the hammock under a blanket, talked on the balcony, chased the sun in the canoe or napped by the fire. On warmer days, we swam in the pristine and tepid waters of Echo Lake and just spent all of our time on the lake and the grounds. We watched a huge bald eagle drying itself off at the top of a tree for hours and said hello to a mink who stopped to check us out as it scoured the perimeter of the lake in search of food! The house was fully stocked with all the linens and kitchen supplied that you could need. There was soap and detergent provided, flashlights and even water shoes. They really provided everything. Gwenn was extremely kind and communicative during our stay. Thank so you much to the family!

We Had the most AMAZING trip at this camp! Everything is in great condition and you have everything you need. We Stayed 5 nights, we cooked 4 out of the 5 nights there. The cabin had everything we needed. Every time I thought “oh I need this” open a drawer or a cabinet, it was there. Everything in the cabin is in excellent condition. 2 gas grills WITH propane plenty of fire wood. Super clean! I can’t recommend this camp enough!! I will return! Thank you Jim and Kellie ❤️

This is our fourth, and dfinitely not last, stay at Rondi's Nest. We love the quiet lake, location, and the cabin is absolutely perfect. We had everything that we needed, and Rondi is a great host. Thank you again!
