Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Annapolis County

This is a beautiful home with a stunning view. The home is welcoming, clean and absolutely charming. We stayed for a girls weekend and had a wonderful time. I would highly recommend this spot!

Every step of the way - John was a a great communicator, making sure we had all the information we needed for our visit and the surrounding area. His cozy get away, is surrounded by beautiful nature, very private and yet only 10 minutes from the town of Annapolis Royal with all the amenities. The open fireplace, with lots of DRY wood and kindling was a bonus as the weather was stormy during our visit. John also checked in with us a few times to make sure we could get in and out of the driveway during the storm. 2 lovely balconies would be perfect in the summer for sitting out and looking into the trees - and which we were able to use this trip for barbequeing in the snow storm:) Very dog friendly as located off the main road and km of trails right out the door for walking off leash or snowshoeing. Would absolutely return at any time of year!

I have been thinking what I would include in this review since we stepped foot on Ginny’s beautiful property. None of what I’ve thought about saying scratch the surface of how amazing the property is. The photos don’t do it justice! The property is in amazing condition and well appointed with comfortable linens and furniture. We particularly appreciated the abundant supply of dark towels to help with washing everything from sticky fingers to removing mascara. Ginny has thought of everything you could possibly need, want or need before we did. Everything you might need or want on a whim has been thoughtfully provided by Ginny. Oh, and on the topic of Ginny… a better host has never existed! They’re so thoughtful, proactive and kind. Thank you for such a lovely and relaxing stay. Our only regret is not spending more time at your lovely property.

We felt lucky to find a place so close to the beautiful Kejimkujik National Park!! The yard is huge and beautiful with a lovely walk down to the lake. Comfortable beds, nice hot water, easy to control the temperature in the house. Only negatives; upstairs bathroom only has a tub, kayaks need some work.

What an amazing farm house in the Annapolis valley over looking the Bay of Fundy. We will definitely be back. House well equipped and really felt like home. Thanks for a great weekend

Beautiful location, fantastic cottage . Couldn't ask for a better place to stay. Hidden gem.

As soon as we stepped inside, the beautiful surroundings and view of the lake made us feel instantly relaxed. The peaceful location and well appointed cottage was just what we needed for a restful vacation. The use of kayaks was amazing and swimming was lovely. Our daughter brought her stand up paddle board and enjoyed time on the water. Beds were comfy and complimentary morning coffee got the day started well! Time went too fast, so we’ll book a longer stay next summer!

Truly a one of a kind getaway. From the spectacular scenery to the wonderful rustic decor, it truly makes you feel welcome and at home. If you want to enjoy the outdoors and get to grilling this is the perfect location for you, I have never loved staying at a BNB so much until I stayed here. Some of the most wonderful hosts you could ask for as well, very helpful, kind and responsive! I couldn’t recommend staying here more.

This property was even better in person! The location just a stone’s throw from the Bay of Fundy with a waterfall within a short walk along the beach when the tide is low. The space had everything we needed and had a vintage beach vibe that made relaxing so easy. The hosts were extremely responsive and we’d definitely recommend this property and host!

Youssef and Sarah are wonderful and friendly hosts, and their property on the North Mountain is beautiful. The unit I stayed in was spacious with lots of windows overlooking their orchard and had everything I needed for my one week stay. The property location made it easy to experience the best of what the Annapolis Valley has to offer. A 15 minute drive gets you to the Bay of Fundy or to the picturesque towns of Annapolis Royal and Bridgetown connected by the Annapolis River. Early May is a great time to visit this area just to enjoy the flowering trees, especially the magnolias.

We had a wonderful stay in Margaretsville in our cozy suite at the Little Bird Inn. Kate and Adam were great hosts, and we loved the location, amenities and beautiful autumn weather at the seaside.

Christian's place was perfect. I have nothing negative to say about the place. It was private, peaceful and had everything you need including condiments/spices and a fully equipped kitchen. The space was perfect for 4 of us as it was spacious and had a functional layout. Christian and his co-host were very responsive and laid back. Felt like we were staying at the family cottage; no worries and felt right at home. Thank you!

Nice rustic cabin with all you need. Peaceful, beautiful surroundings, including baby bunnies running around! Bacon and eggs left for us for breakfast! Host is quick to respond and friendly! Would definitely stay again!

We enjoyed our stay at the lake! Denis was a great host and took great care of us as guests. The kids had a great time jumping off the dock, enjoying the playground, and countless games of washer-toss. The AC was lovely on hot nights and the beds were cozy and comfy. The bunkie was a fun added touch. We would love to stay there again!

The cabin was comforting and nostalgic. We loved our two nights here and could have spent longer. We swam in the warm lake and used the kayaks/water toys. Everything in the cabin was well thought of and especially loved the outdoor cooking space to prepare meals. Our second day it was raining but we could still sit under the covered deck and use the gas fire table which was a bonus.

An incredibly charming and cozy cabin with a world-class view. In my opinion, the perfect size for two people. Very comfortable, clean and worth the money. Incredibly private and peaceful. I would highly recommend this location. The host was kind and communicated with ease. 110% recommended.

Perfect chill-out spot. My sister and I stayed four nights. We planned more day trips but ended up staying close to home most days. Very quiet, peaceful, birdsong, watching the tide. Close to Annapolis Royal for restaurants and shopping. Check out the Lazy Bear Cider place for another relaxing go-to spot. Also the trail on the abandoned rail way at the start of the driveway (shows on google maps) is a good place for a walk/run. Recommended! Thank Jeff.

This was the perfect family getaway out of the city! Very peaceful and quiet cabin. We loved being able to sit out around the fire pitt in the evenings. Lovely area to walk- roads aren't busy, beautiful views of the lake. Highly recommend Pizza at Stews (local convenience store), it was delicious!

It’s nice overall, we had a great experience. Place is cozy and quiet, close to the nature, plenty woods for the fire pit, it’s great for weekend gateway. Host is very responsive and friendly. It would be great if the amenities are a little updated, and have a dishwasher.
