Apartment holiday rentals in Ano Poli, Thessaloniki

I stayed at this wonderful place for one week. Everything was as advertised and true to the photos. The view is so amazing! Love to sit on the terrace sofa and look at the view to the sea and over the city and watch the birds. Loved it! Ana poli (the old town) is charming but on a pretty steep hill so I got some work out. Probably not for people with medium or more mobility issues. I highly recommend this place for short and longer stay. The host Ilias was very responsive and very helpful - e.g. when I had a health issue to tend to and gave a good advice. If I come back to beautiful Thessaloniki I will definitely stay again. Thanks a lot! Wonderful place.

Quirky, spacious, no-frills place in the Ano Poli, Old town. Area with quite a few sites nearby to visit, lovely restaurants but all very laid back...bit of a student vibe and not so many tourists. If you walk from the centre to the apartment it goes uphill, good exercise or take the bus! The apartment has a great terrace of the bedroom ideal for breakfast and an afternoon glass of wine. Quiet during night, no traffic and friendly neighbours.

Dimitris’s place is wonderful - it is located adjacent to the Roman Forum, in between many sites including the Rotunda, White Tower, and short walk to the Acropolis. The apartment is incredibly clean, and thoughtfully curated for the guest experience. I highly recommend Dimitris place for anyone looking for a comfortable space while traveling in Thessaloniki.

Comfortable stay, very content. Maybe one thing to know is that at 7:30 AM and 8:00 AM very loud church bells sounded (we had this during the weekend). So people that want to sleep in may find this a bit annoying

Εξαιρετική διαμονή! Ήταν η πρώτη μας φορά σε δωμάτιο Airbnb γι αυτό και είμασταν πολύ επιφυλακτικοί. Πραγματικά ήταν πολύ ευχάριστη έκπληξη και πολύ όμορφη εμπειρία! Καινούριο διαμέρισμα, καθαρό, όμορφα διακοσμημένο. Είναι 2 διαμερίσματα μόνο, τα οποία έχουν κοινή εξώπορτα αλλά ανεξάρτητα το ένα από το άλλο (ισόγειο και 1ος όροφος). Για εμάς που είμασταν παρέα 2 οικογένειες με παιδάκια ήταν απίστευτα βολικά! Περιοχή πολύ καλή και ήσυχη, πολύ κοντά στο κέντρο (πρόσβαση με τα πόδια, 10 λεπτά). Πολύ ευγενική η Ελένη, πολύ βοηθητική και άμεση. Εννοείται θα το επιλέξουμε ξανά στην επόμενη μας επίσκεψη! Ευχαριστούμε.

Würde ich jederzeit wieder buchen. Alles wie beschrieben, gut und modern ausgestattet, nichts zu klagen. Freundliche und schnelle Kommunikation, einfacher Zugang. Bisschen abseits des Trubels, viele nette Restaurants. Die Terrasse ist der Wahnsinn! Lediglich Menschen mit ganz leichtem Schlaf würde ich abraten. Der Aufzug ist recht nah und man hört ihn etwas. Mich hat es überhaupt nicht gestört. Wie gesagt: jederzeit wieder, danke!

We had a great stay at this apartment! It’s beautifully renovated with a modern design, very clean, and located in a quiet building which offered a peaceful contrast to the lively atmosphere of Thessaloniki. We especially loved the bathroom and its lighting, a real highlight. Also, Christos was incredibly kind and responded to all our questions very quickly. Highly recommended!

Lia’s apartment feels like home. It’s not one of those cookie-cutter Airbnbs. It is actually a home. It’s in a great location in Ano Poli and is walking distance to many restaurants and sites. Lia is very communicative and helpful. I highly recommend and would stay again.

Die Unterkunft ist super für einen Städtetrip. Die Lage ist gut, zu Fuß kann alles einfach erreicht werden. Es war sehr sauber und wir haben uns wohl & sicher gefühlt! Die Wohnung ist modern und stilvoll eingerichtet. Obwohl auch die Küche sehr schön und groß ist, fehlte es uns jedoch an etwas mehr Küchenequipment. Der Straßenlärm und auch Geräusche innerhalb des Hauses können nachts etwas störend sein, jedoch war es absolut im Rahmen. Alles in allem waren wir sehr zufrieden mit der Unterkunft und würden sie weiterempfehlen.

Die Wohnung war sauber, modern eingerichtet und sehr gut ausgestattet. Besonders die Lage war ideal und zentral. Der Gastgeber war jederzeit erreichbar und hat schnell auf Fragen reagiert. Ich habe mich rundum wohlgefühlt und würde jederzeit wieder buchen. Vielen Dank!

Die Unterkunft ist sehr sauber, gepflegt, modern, liebevoll eingerichtet und sehr gut ausgestattet. Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und überaus zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit und waren jederzeit sehr gut erreichbar. Sie waren sehr bemüht, uns bei kleineren Schwierigkeiten zu helfen und konnten unser Problem innerhalb von wenigen Stunden lösen. Die Wohnung liegt oberhalb des Zentrums von Thessaloniki. Ein bisschen Aufstieg hat man, um dorthin zu gelangen. Bus und Metro sind aber innerhalb von 10 Minuten zu erreichen, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gibt es direkt vor Ort so wie viele Möglichkeiten essen zu gehen. Als einziges Hinweis würde ich lediglich schreiben, dass man eine Schlafmaske einpacken sollte, wenn man es ganz dunkel haben möchte. Durch eine Straßenlaterne direkt vor der Wohnung scheint es auch nachts rein. Und hat das allerdings nicht gestört. Wir würden die Wohnung jederzeit wieder buchen.

Everything was very nice, from the check-in and check-out process, to the apartment itself. The apartment was very clean and tidy, we had everything we needed - fully equipped bathroom, mini fridge etc. The location is excellent and the view is great. The windows let a lot of light to enter the apartment. The person we talked to on the phone (Nikos) was very helpful and gave us all the instructions we needed and also gave us the possibility to check out late in the evening. The neighbourhood is very quiet.

We had a fantastic stay at this accommodation! Everything went perfectly from start to finish. The apartment was spotless, well-equipped, and exactly as described. What really stood out was the incredibly central location—right in the heart of the city, with easy access to everything we needed. Communication with the host was smooth and friendly. I truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommended !

Lovely apartment in a very good part of Thessaloniki - plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance and there's also easy access to bus stops close by for going any further out. Apartment looked just like the photos and the host gave very helpful instructions about how to use the amenities and get inside! Would recommend

Man lebt schön zentral in Thessaloniki und hat einen tollen Ausblick. Die Einrichtung spricht natürlich für sich! Alles in allem eine wunderschöne, große Unterkunft.

It’s the second time me and my husband are staying there and every time is better than the previous!!! The place is really worth the money, it’s clean, spacious with wine, snacks and coffee. The balcony is a bonus.

An unforgettable stay! The house was spotless and had everything we could possibly need. I would like to thank the host Konstantinos who went above and beyond for us. He was always available and responsive to all our needs , giving us the best recommendations. We felt truly welcomed and cared. This made our trip even more special till the next time!
