Gaze over stunning 180-degree views of islands on Lago Maggiore from the expansive, floor-to-ceiling windows of this lovely, 230-year-old rustic stone villa. Antique furnishings perfectly complement the historic architecture. The house is on 3 floors so a fair bit of walking up and down stairs is required. The main bedroom is on the upper floor and the 2nd bedroom (two single beds) and bathroom on the lowest floor. Ideal for couples and families but not for the elderly or groups of 4 adults.

Close to the house there is the possibility to swim in the river or at the waterfall. Recommended for people seeking tranquility, hikers and in search for privacy and contact with nature. Breath the fresh air from the valley.

The town of Montescheno offers the charm of the mountains (700 meters), an enviable sunny position and at the same time the proximity to the city of Domodossola (12km) and the alpine lakes. Villa Alba presents itself with spacious and bright rooms, a panoramic view of the mountains and at the same time the relaxation of a Finnish sauna and jacuzzi. Splendido appartamento mansardato di recente ristrutturazione, situato all’interno di un palazzo d’epoca a due passi dal centro storico di Domodossola. La Stazione Ferroviaria si trova comodamente a meno di 10 minuti a piedi, mentre il parcheggio per auto a meno di 300 metri. Il Palazzo si trova in area pedonale in prossimità di accoglienti bar e ristoranti. L’alloggio è dotato di ogni comfort e necessità, perfettamente insonorizzato per un piacevole relax.

Stone house in the countryside

The house is surrounded by nature, reachable only on foot 300 meters from the parking lot, but very close to the lake and the village that offers art and culture, beautiful panoramic views, restaurants and beach. You'll love it for the tranquility and vastness of the spaces, the views towards the lake and mountains, the intimacy, the exposed ceiling, the comfort, the large lawn around. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and families with kids.

The Breakfast Club

A 1960s grandma's apartment in a two storeys condo in a rural area. There's nature but also bees, bugs, cats, foxes, dust.. if you have grass pollen allergy or not used to the countryside I won't recommend staying here. The furniture is old but there's a tiny office with Wi-Fi, a massage table and a lot of privacy.
