Small Paradise above the Walensee

Guests have a separate apartment with their own kitchen, bath and living room but they share the same entrance to the house with the owner. All the surroundings of the house can be used by the guests. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, electric stove, cooking utilities (inclusive herbs, vinegar and oil) cutlery and tableware. Food needs to be brought by the guests. The nearest store is a 30min drive away. A Fondue-Set is available upon request. There is also a Nespresso machine inclusive capsuls and an open fire place right next to the house. The main bedroom includes a double bed (1.40m) and there is another separate room with a single bed, inclusive bedding. The bathroom comes with towels, shampoo, shower gel and a hair dryer.

The studio is located on the first floor, has its own private entrance, and is completely separate from our living area, except for the shared staircase. We place great value on sustainability – our home is heated with geothermal energy and we generate our electricity with a solar PVsystem. You can enjoy a mostly fog-free break at 1000m altitude with beautiful views of the Säntis and the Alpstein. Several hiking trails pass right by the house, and a fitness course in the forest can be reached within 2 minutes for a workout. You can find shops for your everyday needs in Speicher and Teufen, and the city of St. Gallen can be reached in 10 minutes by car. Access to the property is via a forest road – in winter, a 4x4 vehicle or a 10-minute walk is required.
