Beach house holiday rentals in Aptos

We loved our time here and wished we could have stayed longer. The location is so serene and peaceful, but just a short (beautiful!) walk to all of the action. The house is well stocked with everything you could need. Terri is a great communicator. We would highly recommend and hope to return!

We enjoyed this place for our kickoff to summer break. 3 adults, 6 kids; the place had plenty of space for all of us. The only thing that could've made it better would be for guest to somehow see how loud we are. Veronica did a great job communicating the expectations about noise ordinance but if you're not familiar with noise levels it might be hard to gage, especially with kids. Veronica had reach out to me on our first day but she was kind, respectful and responsive. I hope to book this place again.

I feel so lucky to have been able to spend 2 nights in this awesome cottage!!! It was my second time in Capitola and I didn’t really understand what Lawn Way was when I booked it. I was so excited when I realized that we would be staying one of these cute colorful historical cottages! Cottage was so clean, comfortable and described exactly. I loved learning about the family history of this cottage... Makes me feel so lucky to have been able to stay here. Bed was super comfy. Super cute inside. Location is unbeatable. The lawn was plush and so nice to lounge on. Perfect!

Super well organized and no worries: this is a super cozy place and is very nicely maintained, clean and and the friendly owner who lives nearby is very approachable and helpful. Very recommended!

Beautiful location and beautiful home. Nice kitchen, living room, very spacious. The private parking spot was a fantastic bonus so close to the village.

We had two families with young kiddos and Kate's place was perfect for our weekend stay. The driveway is a bit narrow, and the street you enter from can be busy due to beach traffic, but it's totally worth the effort. Once you're in the Kate's Airbnb, you feel comfortable and relaxed, with the beach and the ocean visible from the front of the house and the front yard that was perfect for the kiddos to hangout in. Kate was super responsive and incredibly pleasant and made our stay as comfortable as can be. We love visiting Santa Cruz and will definitely keep Kate's beach house on our list of places to stay the next time we're in town!

The house is in a great location, close to the boardwalk, beach, shopping, and restaurants. Very comfortably fit our group of eight. The hot tub was very relaxing, we enjoyed making s’mores in the fire pit, and took many trips to the beach on the bikes. The hosts responded quickly and were very friendly as well, would definitely recommend staying here!

Had a great stay at this home. Walkable to Capitola Village and a short drive to Santa Cruz. Loved that there was a Trader Joe’s nearby. Enjoyed making meals with family as eating out is so expensive. Bright sunny rooms and very comfortable home. Would definitely stay there again! Thank you Cara for an enjoyable stay.

We were impressed by how clean the house was. It was a great location to walk to some restaurants and the coast. We parked one van street side and one van in the driveway as it was really tight to get out of the car on one area of the drive. There were chairs, bikes, and beach towels available. We didn’t get a chance to use the hot tub or fire pit. Wish we had more time there. We had one issue but Veronica was quick to reply and resolve it. We would stay again!

Lovely home steps from the beach. Great, wee-stocked kitchen. Upstairs large balcony with comfy chairs and large table outside + inside living room area and dining table adjacent to large patio doors. Separate back yard also seat a bunch of people, complete with a hot tub, gas tabletop fire top, and a clean grill. Coffee and excellent baked goods with a 20 minute walk. We had a great time!!

We had a fantastic stay! The location was perfect—close to the beach and everything and so peaceful and relaxing. The home itself was beautiful, spotless, and incredibly well stocked with everything we could possibly need. The view from the upstairs balcony was absolutely stunning and quickly became one of our favorite spots to unwind. Our hostess was wonderful—so kind, thoughtful, and very responsive whenever we had a question. As a family of five, we had plenty of space to relax and enjoy ourselves after a long school year. We made some great memories here and are already hoping to come back. Highly recommend!

The location of John's place was awesome - was able to walk to the beach, get ice cream, and coffee in the morning. Right next to the freeway, so it was super quick and easy to travel to other places nearby, like Santa Cruz.

This is my second year renting. Kim’s place works well for my little family. We loved access to boogie boards. Just perfect for my 6 year old granddaughter who tried it for the first time. Also used a couple of beach chairs. I don’t remember them at my past stay.

This home was perfect for a family of 8. Great space for 6 kids to entertain themselves. Whether it was running around the empty pool bowl or enjoying the hot tub. The kitchen was perfect in space for my wife to cook, the grill was in great condition to grill some meat. We missed out on using the wood fire oven but defitnely great option to have. The home made us feel like we were at home. Clean rooms, bathrooms, kitchen and living room. We will defitnely return to this home for our next little getaway.
