Family-friendly holiday rentals in Arcola

We had a wonderful stay at this unique home. Never stayed in a castle before...and it was awesome! It is full of history and charm, with a family feel. We spent a good amount of time out on the stone deck enjoying wine and the great views. We also enjoyed simply walking around the inside and looking at the old paintings and decorations. It is great when an Airbnb goes beyond being just a place to sleep and instead becomes a big part of the overall travel experience. The castle is modernized in the important ways, but the host does go out of his way to portray it accurately in the full description. Also, it is a bit outside of town and so it may be best to have a vehicle during your visit. The host was extremely responsive when I had a couple of questions, and the arrival/check in process was made easy with an in-person meeting when we arrived. We also had an amazing dinner at the restaurant they recommended. Overall, this was an exceptional Airbnb and I would highly recommend it.

This apartment is located at the Corniglia bus stop - so it’s easy to take the bus up and skip those 377 steps if you want! The apartment has a lovely terrace with beautiful views of the Mediterranean, comfortable furniture, and air conditioner units in every room. The only thing to be aware of is: if you like to shower, that is a bit difficult in the jacuzzi as the ceilings are low (but if you like bathing it’s a cozy tub with a cool sunroof which opens for ventilation)

Questa è la terza volta che siamo da Maria Cristina e Elisa. Sempre perfetto! Questa volta eravamo in 5 ma siamo venuti anche in coppia, soli con il cane, etc. è proprio un Oasis di relax, con buone viste e privacy. Vorremo venire al meno una volta al mese! La casa al interno è bella, ha tutti i dettagli per farla diventare una casa propria.

Awesome place to stay if you are looking for privacy and nature going hand in hand in the beautiful chalet surrounded by peaceful calmness and a relaxing atmosphere. Maria who is a very friendly Host was always helpful and responded very quickly if we had questions and we are thankful for whole service (with the car :) We recommend the chalet a 10/10 and would revisit it anytime again !

Unser Aufenthalt bei Giacomo war sehr schön. Wir waren eine Gruppe von 6 Personen und hatten gut Platz im und um das Haus. Die Küche hatte alles relevante dabei, die Betten sind bequem und der Garten mega gross und schön. Giacomo und seine Eltern sind sehr nette Leute, wir haben sogar einen Kuchen erhalten, welcher sehr sehr lecker war. Giacomo hat uns auch Tipps für die Umgebung gegeben und ging auf unsere Bedürfnisse ein. Wir danken Giacomo und seinen Eltern für den schönen Aufenthalt!

Abbiamo passato 3 giorni fantastici nella villa di Daniele, immersa nella tranquillità della campagna toscana. Eravamo in 9 amici e la casa è stata perfetta per il nostro soggiorno: spaziosa, pulita e dotata di tutti i comfort. La piscina e la jacuzzi esterne sono state le protagoniste delle nostre giornate di relax, mentre la sauna interna ha aggiunto un tocco speciale alle serate. Gli spazi comuni sono ampi e ben organizzati e il portico esterno è ideale per fare una grigliata. Daniele è stato un host impeccabile: sempre disponibile e attento, ci ha fatto sentire subito benvenuti. Un soggiorno che consigliamo senza esitazioni, perfetto per chi cerca pace, comfort e un bel posto dove condividere momenti con gli amici.

Simply unbelievable – a secluded haven with everything you'd want from a holiday home in the Italian countryside. We spent 6 days with our two young kids at Monica's place, and had one of the best holidays ever. The house is beautiful, well-equipped and charming, and the views are out of this world. Sunset out of the bedroom window will stay with me forever! Then there's the gardens - lots of room for kids to run around in complete safety, with a large infinity pool (cold in May, but still enjoyed every day by us and the kids… the view was so beautiful I proposed to my fiancee there 🥳), and also a playground and outdoor bowls lane. There's an excellent restaurant within 5 minutes walk, but Sillico is a quiet, beautiful medieval hamlet and not much more – be aware that to get anywhere you'll need to drive 12 minutes down quite a narrow twisty road. It didn't bother me, but just something to be aware of for less confident drivers. Overall: one of the best places I've ever stayed!

Magnifique expérience avec ce superbe logement sur les hauteurs de la Spezia. Merci à Alberto et son épouse pour leur gentillesse, leur hospitalité et leurs cadeaux de bienvenue ! Ils sont super réactifs dans la communication et répondent très vite à nos questions ! Je ne peux que recommander cet endroit.

Le logement est proche de la Spezia et des différents endroits intéressants à visiter. Le logement était parfaitement propre et fonctionnel. Attention à l'accès ou un gros véhicule peut s'avérer compliqué

Excellent logement a proximité de tout a pied. La gare est à moins de 5 mn. idéal pour les visites de villages. Fabio a pris beaucoup de temps pour nous donner les conseils afin de découvrir la région

We absolutely loved our stay in Castè — it was a magical place. Peaceful, beautiful views, an inviting courtyard with fairy lights and fireflies. The apartment was clean and filled with antique furniture and lovely details. Gianni and Antonella were very accommodating, meeting us at check in and showing us everything to ensure we were comfortable. They also spent the first 30 minutes, explaining sites to see in Cinque Terre, where to eat, park the car, and some insider tips. We felt right at home and can't wait to go back!

Per chi ama la natura e la storia di cui ogni singolo oggetto è intriso nella torre! Storia che Raffaele ci ha raccontato con passione, rapendoci con i racconti di come ha riportato in vita questo antico punto di avvistamento. Il territorio poi offre moltissimo, a partire dal buon cibo consigliato da Raffaele stesso! Insomma armatevi di una buona frontale per la sera e del costume per fare la sauna!

Luca’s place is in a fabulous location and he was very responsive . Close to the train station and lots of activity and restaurants nearby. We parked our cars at the train station parking area and did not move them until we left. We were a group of 11. The apartments are two separate apartments but there is a shared area where you can leave the doors open and treat as one apartment with two sides . When you walk in on the right there is a two bedroom with one full bathroom. There is also a dining space /kitchen area with a pullout sofa bed. When you walk in to the left apartment there is a bathroom immediately on the right. Then two bedrooms and another full bathroom and kitchen/dining area with a sofa bed. The floorplan in the listing is accurate. Our group of 11 were 2 couples and our adult children, a few married and their spouses—all in their 20s. Great location to spend time in Cinque Terre during the day and La Spezia restaurants and nightlife for the 20 year olds

Cristina is the perfect host and the house is beautiful. The surroundings are amazing and the views......wow! All through the booking and our stay there Cristina was swift to answer any questions we had and also was happy to offer suggestions on places to go and where to eat. We had a perfect week there and I wouldn't hesitate to go back or to recommend her place to anyone else. Cristina and her sister met us at the house and showed us round, clearly pointing out all the relevant bits that we would need to know. Thank you so much for making our week in Italy so special and enjoyable......we are already looking to come back!

Unser Aufenthalt hat uns sehr gut gefallen, das Haus entspricht exakt der Beschreibung und den Bildern. Die Lage ist etwas abgelegen, was wir sehr schön fanden. Per Bus ist man auch in 20 min in der Innenstadt/Bahnhof von La Spezia, die Bushaltestelle ist fast direkt vor dem Haus und Anna hat uns 2 Fahrkarten geschenkt. Anna war super hilfsbereit, hat uns alles erklärt und war bei Fragen immer sofort erreichbar. Sie hat uns außerdem gute Tipps für Unternehmungen, Restaurants, etc. gegeben. Beim Check-In und Check-Out haben sie unser Gepäck zum Auto transportiert, sodass wir nichts tragen mussten. Auto steht auf einem öffentlichen Parkplatz ca. 200m vom Haus entfernt, hier hat Anna uns vor der Ankunft extra einen Parkplatz reserviert. Bei Ankunft stand ein Verpflegungskorb mit Gebäck und Honig und Kaffee bereit. Da Anna kein deutsch oder englisch spricht haben wir uns über Übersetzer-Apps unterhalten, was sehr gut funktioniert hat. Unser Hund war auch sehr willkommen.

Katia's place is unique in its location on the famous trail and hikers passing by are quite envious. The cottage is utterly adorable. The amazing view lets you observe Vernazza as it wakes up in the morning, gradually fills with visitors and eventually goes to bed. As an artist, I relished the time spent with the bedroom window wide open and my watercolors in front of me. When I'd had enough of painting, I'd just stroll a few minutes into the village and enjoy that beautiful energy for a while. The cottage is well-represented in the photos. I had envisioned spending time out in the small entrance patio but I didn't because the best views are from the large bedroom window. And even though the days were hot, there was always a nice breeze coming in through the window (no screens). The Stone Cabin provides the best of two worlds- a one-of-a-kind rustic retreat combined with the gorgeous colors and sounds that are Vernazza.

My family and I (5 adults and 1 teenager) had the most wonderful stay at Maria Teresa’s place. Her home is very beautiful and welcoming, there was more than enough space for the family to feel comfortable. This area of Emilia-Romagna is very unique and incredibly peaceful. We felt a strong connection to nature, to the agricultural traditions, and to the history of the region. There were so many surprises to learn about and discover in our short stay! Maria Teresa is truly a “super host”. With an abundance of grace and hospitality, she made our visit an unforgettable experience. Maria answered all of our questions (from restaurants to history) with enthusiasm and patience. Our family felt very cared for during our stay. We were sad to leave! For anyone planning a visit; our family rented cars from the airport in Bologna which was a piece of “torta”. Monte Fuso is great for hiking. Visit the caseificio. We were sorry to miss the pool. Our stay was a hidden gem.

Laura è una host semplicemente squisita. Fin dalla prenotazione è stata prodiga di consigli, dai ristoranti, agli orari dei battelli, alle zone da visitare. Vezzano, per noi, è stato un punto di partenza perfetto: in pochi minuti eravamo in stazione, dalla quale ci siamo mossi comodamente verso le Cinque Terre e verso la vicina Lerici. L’appartamento è sulla cima di un promontorio, in una zona tranquillissima, dotato di patio esterno e piscina privata. Si tratta di una grande stanza con letto, divano, zona cucina attrezzatissima e bagno. In più viene fornito parcheggio coperto per l’auto. Insomma, di più non si poteva chiedere. Torneremo sicuramente!

Wir haben zwei Nächte auf dem Boot verbracht und haben die Zeit sehr genossen. Corrado und seine ganze Familie sind sehr gastfreundlich, haben uns einen sehr schönen Empfang mit Aperitif auf dem Boot bereitet und morgens ein tolles Frühstück gebracht. Am besten war der Bootsausflug, den wir noch zusätzlich mit Corrado gebucht haben! Unsere Kinder und wir hatten eine sehr tolle Zeit und es war ein einmaliges Erlebnis!

Fantastiskt boende. Lugnt och fridfullt. Perfekt med lite svalkande temperatur upper i bergen.

Fabrizia ist eine großartige Gastgeberin. Man fühlt sich wohl im Haus, und hat von den Schlafzimmern aus eine wunderschöne Aussicht! Der Garten ist phantastisch, vor allem um gemütlich zu kochen und die Abende zu genießen. Vielen Dank!

Wir haben unsere 4 Wochen Aufenthalt in dieser wunderschönen ruhigen Unterkunft sehr genossen. Der Außen- und Poolbereich ist sehr gepflegt. Sollten im zweiten Appartement Gäste sein, kann man sich dennoch sehr gut zurück ziehen und die Stille genießen. Für Kinder gibt es genügend Spielgeräte die mit genutzt werden können. A Hidden Gem in an Olive Grove – Peaceful and Perfect! The apartment was spacious, clean, nicely decorated, and had a fully equipped kitchen. A highlight was the large terrace with sea view, where we enjoyed family meals. The shared pool was great, especially for our daughter. For our baby, everything we needed was provided. The location is ideal — close to Lerici and San Terenzo. In off-season, parking was easy. Mattia was a friendly and reliable host, organizing everything smoothly from remote, with his helpful parents being around. Even when we forgot our passports when leaving, he quickly arranged to send them back to us. Highly recommended for a relaxing, comfortable retreat — we’d love to return!
