Take a boat, or walk to Torno to find a bar, cafe, shop, and restaurants. Como is a short drive, and public transport is close by. E' raggiungibile con i mezzi di trasporto pubblico : gli autobus C30 C31 C32 con partenza ogni ora circa dalla stazione ferroviaria Como San Giovanni , Como Lago Ferrovie Nord o da Piazza Matteotti in direzione Como- Bellagio, impiegano circa 8 min per raggiungere la fermata Blevio - Decorazioni Savio, distante 100 m circa dall' abitazione. Alternativa piacevole al trasporto pubblico tradizionale può essere l'uso dei battelli della navigazione del Lago di Como, con partenza da Piazza Cavour in direzione Torno, da dove camminando per circa 15 min raggiungerete la destinazione. It can be reached by public transport: buses C30 C31 C32 departing approximately every hour from the Como San Giovanni railway station, Como Lago Ferrovie Nord or from Piazza Matteotti towards Como-Bellagio, take about 8 minutes to reach the Blevio stop - Decorations Savio, about 100 m away from the house. A pleasant alternative to traditional public transport may be the use of Lake Como navigation boats, departing from Piazza Cavour in the direction of Torno, from where walking for about 15 minutes you will reach the destination. I ALLOW ME TO STRONGLY RECOMMEND THE SMALLEST AND CHEAPEST CAR, TO MOVE INDEPENDENTLY, AS IN OUR AREA PUBLIC TRANSPORT AND TAXIS ARE NOT COFORTABLE Villa Pasta The villa was built in the early XIX cen- tury and was bought in 1830 by the famous opera singer Giuditta Pasta hosting space for its several guests. In the park the fol lowing built: the studio painting of Clelia, Giuditta's daughter, who attended the Brera Academy in Milan; the cafe-house, a small cave to cool in the summer; the wooden theater where Giuditta practised singing. Captain Wilhelm Locke, grandson of the famous philosopher, drowned in front of his wife and other guests in the lake area in front of the villa. Later his daughter erected a gravestone in his memory. In the small ceme- tery of Blevio it is possible to visit the grave of Giuditta Pasta who died in 1865.

Very beautiful apartment with all updated amenities and nice furniture and linens/towels. we enjoyed our stay. It was very nice that Angelo made the garage available for our motorcycles. I kept mine in front of the house just off the road with no worries and my friend put hers in the garage. The roads are steep and the neighborhood is beautiful and quiet. The cats are very sweet.

Valori‘s home was a perfect weekend getaway for our family (inc. a dog, who loved the fully fenced yard to run around in, and our son, who loved using the garden hose to fill up his super soaker to get us wet):) We spent most of our time on the front porch, which was a great spot to enjoy meals and board games. The place is very peaceful, and the house has a lot of historic charm. We would recommend this place to anyone without hesitation.

Amazing stay at Cinzia’s home. I wish I never had to leave. Her and her family were so helpful and kind. For us, the location was perfect - close to everything and just a short walk into town, but still felt secluded and private, surrounded by gorgeous scenery and nature all around. Cinzia was responsive to any of our questions and helped coordinate a massage for us by the water, and a multi-course dinner service at the home - everything was exceptional.

I had a wonderful stay at this apartment in Stresa. It’s beautiful furnished, very comfortable, and impeccably clean. The location is perfect quiet yet close to everything, and the view is simply breathtaking. One of the most highlights was the owner’s hospitality. She was extremely kind, responsive and attentive to every detail, which made me feel truly welcomed. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. I am already looking forward to coming back!

The accommodation is really like in the photos. Even in the dark, the apartment on the first floor was really easy to find, thanks to the good directions at check-in. The bathroom is small, but chic and quickly ventilated thanks to the small window. The kitchen is small but nice and even had sharp knives and good pans/pots. The main room with the bed with a view was of course the highlight next to the balcony. There you can marvel at fantastic sunsets. The balcony was in the shade during the day and so you could stay there comfortably. The parking lot was easy to find at the end of the street after mastering the sporty road typical of Lake Maggiore. The communal pool was pleasantly large for cooling off.
