Monthly Rentals in Arden

Will recommend to friends and family for sure. Truly enjoyed the stay. The view was tireless, with a great vantage point and meditative (if you do that sort of thing). The dock was also private and the water clear. This was be a great place to use the available double and single kayaks although we brought our paddleboards so our dog Chloe could join us. The location and the river have lots of intact natural beauty as does the well kept trails which were a welcome morning hike before the air warmed. We warmed up at the private firepit at night while we continued to look out over the lake. Both Rene and Deacon were wonderful hosts to us and to our dog. Rene clearly enjoys sharing his peace of heaven and goes above and beyond to make this an elevated experience. Thank you Rene and Deacon.

We were 5 adults and stayed at Peter’s cottage for 4 nights. We found the cottage comfortable, cozy, clean and well-appointed. The grounds are lovely with lots of seating. We took out the canoe, kayaks and SUP and toured the lake which is beautiful. We went to Gallery on the Bay, a 5 minute walk away and really enjoyed meeting the owner and local artist. We did the most beautiful hike at Sheffield conservation area, a 20 minute drive away. Highly recommend. Everything was very straight forward and Peter was very responsive to all of our questions. What a wonderful escape! The water nearly surrounded the cottage and every direction you have a gorgeous view. Our days were spent on the lake in the kayak exploring the area. The water was so clear that you could see all the fish. Our dogs loved the area and the swimming. The area was private, and had everything we needed. We hope to return next summer!
