Yurt holiday rentals in Arkansas River

We really enjoyed our stay at the Long John yurt. It’s a great place to unwind and focus on spending time with family. Ellen was responsive and easy to get a hold of. We will be returning.

I love Soleil's little spot of paradise in Crestone. If you are a writer or meditator or simply don't need a ton of people around, THIS is the spot. There are still all amenities we are used to, it is just simple and wonderful, and literally half a block to a truly wonderful cafe. I had a potential family problem and Soleil was very responsive

We had an incredible stay at this yurt! It offered the perfect balance between camping and comfort. The yurt was spacious enough for the three of us, with a solid roof, walls, and a door that kept us protected from the elements, while still giving us that authentic outdoor experience. The host provided everything we needed, including water, propane, and firewood, which was much appreciated. Everything worked as described, and the setting was beautiful. The only minor challenge we faced was locating the yurt—some of the flagging seemed to have had fallen off the trees over the winter, so finding it was a bit tricky. Definitely recommend keeping an eye out for those markers or asking for a little extra guidance beforehand. The yurt is located at a high elevation, so be mindful when packing. We overpacked, knowing there was a wagon, but it's still uphill! The hike in was great, but packing light would have made it easier! Rent some bikes and check out Red River if you go!

This was such a wonderful place to stay. If you want to “camp” without having to step up and take everything down this is a WONDERFUL alternative. The yurt was great. It all the things we needed gas camp stove, gas lantern for light, was equipped with water and stocked with firewood. We will be staying again.

Susan was a great host! She responded quickly to my questions and was more than accommodating with my plans to stay in a yurt. This is the second time in my life. She greeted us when we arrived and gave an explanation about the property…. Including the history. I love that stuff. There is a barn that has WiFi and some other amenities. It’s not a long walk. The yurt is pretty much like staying in a very large tent, but nicer. It was a quick trip. I wish we could have stayed longer. I would love to go back with my family when we can. Thanks, Susan!

We came here for my birthday and loved it! The hot tub was nice to hangout in at night. The trail was beautiful, the scenery all around was beautiful. 😍 Very peaceful. We also enjoyed hanging out on the deck and drinking coffee. Will definitely return and recommend!

The “Round House” was so cutely decorated and cozy! Katie provided everything you could need. (The weather was cold-the mattress warmer was a happy surprise!!). The view was wonderful. All around great stay!!

We really enjoyed our stay for my husbands birthday! He said all he wanted was peace and quiet and a hot tub and that’s exactly what we got! AND wonderful massage therapists that come to you! Was one of the best massages we’ve ever had!! Will absolutely be coming back here!

If you’re looking for a quiet, but intimate and special place to disconnect from the rest of the world: this is it! The host was great and responded within minutes of reaching out. We will most definitely be coming back.

Beautiful location and accommodation! I had a question when I arrived and the host handled it for me. Can’t wait to return to stay in the yurt next time I am in New Mexico!

We were looking for a private getaway and it was awesome. There was another cabin close by but it was far enough to not be intrusive. The surroundings were peaceful. The blue velvet provided the exact back drop we were looking for.

Staying in the yurt was nice. We really enjoyed the fire pit, deck, and the hot tub. A great place to unwind and the yurt was very cozy inside. The Daisy Queen is a really good burger joint. Boston Mountain Pizza was excellent We went to the Collier Homestead which was neat, and went ahead and walked the loop to the overlook and that was very scenic. Very nice maintained trail, easy walk. If you’ve never stayed in a yurt, be prepared for noises. You can hear just about everything outside and the tent itself makes a lot of pops and crackles. The grounds were really cool and we spent some time walking around exploring the creek. Drove down to the Buffalo access at the end of Zack Rd but the river was too high to do much. The drive was fun. Overall we enjoyed our stay here and had everything we needed

Unique & peaceful place to stay that feels like you’re camping, but easy to get into town for food or the store. Also big fan of the friendly dogs who live on the property!!

Staying at Chris’s yurt 🛖 was a phenomenal experience, especially since there was a solar storm the first evening that we were there and we actually got to see the northern lights from just outside the front door. Quiet and peaceful is exactly what we needed and it was all of that and more. Would definitely recommend and would love to stay there again.

Beautiful location and campground! Great for stargazing, and the yurt is super cozy.

We communicated primarily with Lorina and she met us when we arrived. Lorina responded quickly, was flexible with our arrival time, and provided detailed information. Upon arrival she walked us through our reserved Tee Pee, but due to low temps she had prepared and offered us a hotel room on property. She was very friendly and accommodating, and went above and beyond in our experience. The Tee Pee was as described, matched the pictures. The hotel room was very clean and had plenty of space for our traveling party. We would highly recommend this property!

Very clean. Provided a brand new grill. Firewood. Everything was fantastic. This will become a yearly thing for us. If not twice a year. We love it.

Great location and felt like glamping in true fashion. The bathrooms are remarkably clean, the other guests staying there were really friendly, and the bbq was a pleasant perk. Also, the bed is SO comfy inside the yurt. Would definitely stay here again!

This was a beautiful getaway! The yurt was much bigger than we expected and super comfy! The property is gorgeous! We enjoyed night walks, the sauna and outdoor area. Thank you for providing a peace get away!

This was a sweet spot for a family getaway. There were 3 families in one yurt circle and that worked out wonderfully! We were always surprised that the kitchen wasn't busier with more guests. We had no problem cooking and finding room to eat any time we were hungry. Nestled amonst the farms of Center and between two mountain ranges, the vistas are simply beautiful. Sunsets stunning. Move nights: special. Loved our stay!
