We were the first guests in the new home! Ana welcomed us lovingly and guided us through the accommodation, showed us around and explained everything! The place is lovingly decorated, nothing is missing, it is very clean, you feel right at home. The location of the accommodation is very quiet, just what we wanted, relax and walk. The view into the Dourotal is fantastic, by car you are quickly in the neighboring village for shopping. Nikolai and Ana are always available for questions, we can only recommend the accommodation, we will definitely be back! Thank you for everything!!!

The property was beautiful. We arrived early and they rushed to clean everything. We were offered the property with the jacuzzi, and there were all the necessary amenities for our baby: high chair, toys, bed… the jacuzzi in front of the large windows was an unforgettable experience. Central location for exploring the Douro. All our needs were met, we were offered port and local fruits. It is obvious that these people care about the well-being of their guests, we recommend it without hesitation.

We cannot say enough about how enjoyable, peaceful, and satisfying our stay was in Fontelo at Marina’s house! The house feels spacious and open, with everything you need to be right at home. The views are incredible and the pool and outdoor spaces are functional and enjoyable. I wish I could go back and have another cup of coffee outside, watching the sun rise over the vineyard hills. A 15-minute drive to the Douro River makes tasting the local wines and Port very accessible — just make sure to check the route before following your GPS or you may end up on a dirt farm road :-) Marina is friendly and responsive, always willing to help with questions or suggestions for where to shop and eat. We are already looking forward to our return!

This is the most dramatic position of any Airbnb that we have stayed in. A beautiful,modern,stylish and chic residence with incredible views over the Douro and vineyards. You definitely need a head for heights! A car is essential as it is off the beaten track. There are a limited number of restaurants nearby and the good ones were fully booked unfortunately so we had to drive 30 mins to find one free. We were the only ones in the villa the first night which made it very special but there is plenty of living space if it was full. The breakfast provided was excellent.

Excellent stay. The description and photos correspond exactly with reality. Dona Cristina, like Bruno, was always available and every morning we received fresh bread and typical jams/marmalades to try. The whole family was very welcoming and we had the pleasure of visiting the winery and tasting all the wines produced. A calm and ideal space for a relaxing getaway. We feel like family. We'll definitely be back. Thank you very much Bruno, Cristina and the rest of the family.
