Our stay at Luís's place was unbeatable. The place is very clean and tastefully decorated. It is not missing any detail and it is all as and how it is shown in the pictures. We enjoyed a lot of the pool and the good weather. Luís is a 10 host, very attentive, willing and friendly. We will definitely come back and do not hesitate to recommend it! Everything is perfect. The house is as in the photos, attentive to our arrival, delicious breakfast. An area worth checking out. 100% recommended

The place is very nice, the house is very nice, comfortable, spacious. The kitchen is very well equipped. We were very comfortable. The only thing I could say is that it would be good to have shampoo and bath gel in the bathroom, even if it's just for the first day. But, we talked to the host and he solved the problem immediately and kindly, which is to be thanked. In short, we would not hesitate to return.

Thank you for this stay was lovely, we drove our car to the property accompanied by Rui and Isabella, only because our car is 4WD, the house is just beautiful, there is no one nearby and very quiet. There are also two bathtubs that need to be heated and enjoyed, it's very cool and relaxing! The house in person is much more cozy and beautiful than in the photos, it is a delight. It was especially nice that when I received a burn through my own fault in the bathroom in the closet there was a burn remedy, this is a very safe and cozy house.

Beautiful view and fantastic pool. House a little older but retains quality. Felipe was fantastic from the booking until the checkout time. I highly recommend!

Susana’s place is an idyllic countryside retreat that is full of Portuguese tradition and authenticity. Susana can’t do enough for her guests, including sharing local produce from her garden. The villa is very well equipped and spacious, and the gardens and pool area are immaculate. There is access to the highlights of the Douro valley close by. We had a wonderful, relaxing break here and would fully recommend it.

Our stay at this place was UNREAL! The views was like something taken from a movie with its hills and scenery. Jose, the host we were in contact with, made the whole stay even better! The wine tour was incredible and informative and having access to the pool during these hot days was incredible. The comments said the pool was private but in the booking it says shared pool. But I imagine the pool is restricted to the ones in the houses, not the camping. Overall, an incredible stay!! Will definitely come back some day!

The beautiful complex is an oasis in the somewhat bustling environment of the city of Vila Real. Ins and her people are very friendly and extremely nice, without being intrusive. Every morning fresh bread is brought to the house, great service, also the daily cleaning of the bungalow is very pleasant. The garden areas are very well maintained, the pool is cleaned daily, the water is super clear and refreshing. Our bungalow was more spacious than it looked like in the pictures and wonderfully cool due to the thick granite walls even at 33 degrees outside temperature. The excursion tips are lovingly drawn and well thought out. All in all, the four of us had a wonderful week at Ines. Thank you!

everything was perfect. we were afraid following the reactions of travelers regarding the bells and finally we did not pay much attention to them, even at night. The accommodation was very good for 2 or 3 if there is a young child. Very good restaurant in Tabuaço and the beautiful Douro Valley. Hikes from the village. We recommend.

Leonel's place is the reason we prefer airbnb to hotels. This little cottage in a little village high up in the mountains above the Douro valley immerses you in the experience - from the breathtaking views to the sound of birds and smells of the fruit trees that surround the house. Leonel, who lives on the property nearby, is the perfect host, extremely generous, friendly and caring he's what all airbnb hosts should aspire to be. If your'e considering visiting the Douro valley and don't mind staying a bit off the beaten path, stay here - you won't regret it!

Casa Grande is an amazing house, we loved our experience, because yes it is an experience! The path to Covelinhas is very steep, you have to be careful when crossing cars. The pool is superb, the rooms are all lovely. There are two small cafes nearby but otherwise we travel by car. I would highly recommend it.

This apartment offers breathtaking views of the confluence of the Pinhão River and the Douro River. It is surrounded by lemon and orange trees. The place is isolated but very relaxing. It is therefore preferable to have a car to get there. Otherwise, you can take a taxi from the train station or walk, but you have to walk for at least 1 hour on steep streets.

We had a wonderful time at Quinta da Galeira, which has spectacular views and is very roomy. The balcony is huge with lots of furniture and an outdoor dining table. There are orange and lemon trees on the grounds and we had fresh orange juice every morning using the juicer in the kitchen. Host/owners brought us a box of Pastel de Nata custard tarts our first morning there which was a sweet treat. Easy parking, cozy and quaint house, everything you could need to cook in the kitchen, and very private even though owners live onsite below the Airbnb. I would stay there again if I had the chance!

Margarida bungalows are absolutely beautiful. They are spacious and had everything we could have wanted. Margarida was very responsive to any questions and proactively suggested things to do and the best restaurants around the area. Margarida's brother Louis hosted us for a wine tasting in the vineyard the bungalows are in and we absolutely loved his passion for the process and delicious wines. We can't recommend this place more!

The house is spectacular. The weather was rainy and cold and the house was warm and comfortable. The unbeatable pool installation, we could enjoy it every day. Everything was very clean and has all kinds of utensils, accessories, pool towels, games, etc. The truth is that it is a totally recommended house to go in a group and the hosts are always attentive and friendly.

I can't say enough about how incredible this Airbnb was, Carla and her property were so beyond expectations. My family and I felt extremely comfortable there, it is remote but absolutely beautiful. We were not able to use the pool, because the weather was a little bit cold. I jumped in for like 20 minutes and even though it was cold it was very nice. Carla was so communicative the entire time we were there, she made lots of helpful suggestions and helped us to book a tour around the Douro Valley and surrounding areas. She and a friend also cooked us breakfast every morning, which was delicious and helped us to start our day. 10 out of 10, I would absolutely return.

Alfredo's place was fantastic! We'd actually say it's even better than the photos suggest. We found the trains to actually be a highlight, so not sure why other reviews said otherwise, they're really infrequent! Alfredo and Luis are brilliant hosts - communication is timely and helpful and they even gave us some extra tips for taxis etc. which were also incredibly helpful. Looking forward to visiting again!

The accommodation is located in a quiet village in the middle of the upper Douro vineyard and surrounded by vineyards. The only service available in the village is a small association under the Parish Council, which operates part-time (which also harms the privacy of the pool). Despite this there is sales of walking bread. The nearest large commercial areas are in Régua, about 15 minutes away by car. The Hosts were very friendly and provided all the necessary clarifications. Accommodation is great for a family break.
