Deu para descansar, casa agradável e quentinha, super confortável em pleno inverno. Anfitriã muito simpática e disponível.

A anfitriã é não só simpática, responsiva e disponível, mas bondosa o que é raro nos dias de hoje. Estivemos no espaço em pleno apagão. Sem electricidade nem comunicações, a D. Elisabete apareceu com um cesto com comida e uma botija de gás. Para quem quer paz este é o espaço certo. O único ponto é o caminho até à casa que é mesmo muito estreito.

Excellent séjour à Cancela House! La maison est conforme à la description : charmante et atypique, cadre bucolique, calme, décoration soignée, bien équipée. Un petit havre de paix dans la petite montagne, au milieu des forêts d’eucalyptus. On s’y sent bien. Mention spéciale pour l’abri repas/barbecue très agréable, la charmante piscine avec vue et la jolie cour (avec super transats). Nous avons adoré le cadre et cette maison! Fatima était chaleureuse et réactive. Échanges très faciles. Si vous aimez l’authenticité, les hébergements typiques (et atypiques à la fois), découvrir ce coin de montagne, découvrir Arouca Geo Park (passadiços de Paiva + Arouca 516)… Allez-y !

A casa é confortável e tem bons espaços. A área exterior é agradável e tem acessos rápidos ao centro de Arouca e aos Passadiços do Paiva. A Judite nos recebeu e foi muito simpática. A Marie é muito atenciosa. Recomendamos!

A casa estava com umas condições impecáveis. Tudo limpo, zona muito sossegada.

Excelente para desligar do mundo por uns dias! As fotografias não fazem jus ao espaço e à qualidade do mesmo. Zona exterior muito agradável com vários espaços para relaxar, para além da piscina que estava muito limpinha, e o jacuzzi era maior do que o das fotos. Espaço bem limpo e com todas as comodidades necessárias. A Alice e o esposo foram super afáveis e acolhedores, muito obrigada

Five stars aren’t enough! We loved the little house. It’s charming and unique and offers all means of comfort you could wish for. We would come back there anytime! The host himself and his parents next door are the sweetest and most caring people. Even when we had questions and problems, they all went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. We got support within minutes. I cannot express more how much we recommend this accomodation and how nice Bruno is. Thank you so much, this stay will be remembered 😃

Esta estadia foi completamente revitalizante! Uma casa linda, privada, com uma vista perfeita sobre as montanhas e o rio. Apenas se ouve os sons da natureza, o rio a correr e os passarinhos a cantar. Tudo na casa era incrível, jacuzzi perfeito e muito grande, ar condicionado em todas as divisões e tudo estava limpo perfeito para nos receber. Foi uma estadia para recarregar energias no coração da natureza. Caso estejam a ler esta classificação e estejam com duvidas, não fiquem, este é mesmo o sítio perfeito para um descanso pleno com todas as comodidades. Ainda agora saímos e já queremos voltar! Queria deixar um agradecimento muito especial à D. Elisabete, que foi mesmo 5 estrelas e nos assegurou que tudo estava perfeito, sempre muito responsiva e disponível a esclarecer qualquer questão. Super logement, parfait pour visiter Porto et ses environs. Restaurants à proximités. Belle ballade le long de l’océan. Parking sécurisé. Magnifique vu mer, rien à dire c’était juste parfait. Merci Marcos pour votre accueil.

Just perfect 2 min walk from restaurants and shops, just stunning views. They let us check in early at no extra costs, it was magnificent. Thank and will stay again very soon. Thank you once again.

So happy we stumbled on this place! The hosts were so sweet and showed us the best spots. The location was amazing and it was perfect for 4 of us. I would love to be able to stay here again!

Alex was a wonderful host, allowing us to check in very early, and providing restaurant recommendations nearby. He lives on site downstairs, and is very responsive and helpful. The Manor House is a beautiful building adjacent to Sé do Porto, and our top-floor apartment was spacious and had incredible views overlooking the Douro River and Dom Luis I Bridge. Absolutely worth a stay with Alex in the heart of the Ribeira neighborhood!

Fernando’s place is steps from beautiful Esmoriz beach. Active neighborhood with good restaurants. I recommend Paradoxo and the Angus burgers! Apartment was nice, functional. The washer machine and dishwasher worked well. Internet dropped out once or twice, but mostly it was good. Sometimes you can park right in front, but there is more parking with a block or two so that was good. Great location to base visits of Northern Portugal, and of course it’s a very nice beach!

The location is very close to everything- lots of coffee shops, restaurants and shopping near by. The view of the river and the city lights at night were incredible. Very comfortable beds. The unit is on the third floor so there were lots of stairs to carry up your luggage - but view was worth it.

This is a fantastic location along the river. Close to all the action but nice and quiet at night. The host was great and helped us with a wonderful airport transfer for an early morning flight. We really enjoyed this apartment and location. Would recommend.

We absolutely loved staying here. Ricardo was super friendly and helpful. Quinta Freiera is a stunning farm with loads of grape vines, lemon trees, orange trees, passion fruit, etc. It was so special to stay in a house that has been in his family for over 200 years. I highly recommend this quinta!

Really great apartment and location. Absolutely beautiful. Quiet and huge garden with a really nice pool. The garden is well maintained and fruit and vegetables are growing. Owners are friendly and really helpful. The apartment and kitchen are well equipped and really clean. Would definitely recommend this place and would return.

Fantastic stay at Ricardo's villa! Beautiful pool and villa setup in an incredibly secluded part of the countryside. We went as a group of eight in our late twenties - we didn't have a car so Ricardo organised a taxi for us to get around that was incredibly helpful, including to get down into the village to visit the INCREDIBLE Tasquinha do Tio Miguel! We will be back! Xxx

Absolutely loved this place and can’t wait to go back!!! Adrianne was great dropping by each morning to have a little tidy in the kitchen and make breakfast. The view of the Douro valley from poolside and the rooms was incredible. Can’t say enough good things about our stay!

Staying at Quinta dos Moinhos was truly a dream come true for us. Not only was it the perfect setting for our wedding, but the property and the views were simply unforgettable. The home is absolutely stunning and one of a kind, nestled in a peaceful and picturesque location, with breathtaking views and a rich family history. Every detail of the home is filled with character, and you can feel the care and pride that has gone into preserving the home and the surrounding nature. Diogo was an exceptional host - warm, welcoming, and incredibly responsive. He even hopped on a Facetime call so we could see the property firsthand and feel more confident about our decision! Diogo is just a genuinely kind person, and from the moment we arrived he made us feel completely at ease. His hospitality and kindness were especially meaningful during such a special time in our lives. We couldn’t ask for a more special place to celebrate, and we are already looking forward to the day we can return!
