If you are looking to explore Bayeux and surrounds you couldn’t stay in a more wonderful spot. The house had everything you could wish for and more - a true home away from home. We loved sitting outside of an afternoon while the kids played. Katrine is a friendly and responsive host, providing recommendations on local places to eat and shop.

Quirky house with everything you need. Second toilet particularly helpful with 4 guests. Communication excellent. Really close to the shops and restaurants. Bells mentioned in listing were absolutely no problem and we got parking outside the accommodation. One note: the upstairs bedrooms do not have a door to separate them from one another. That wasn’t clear from pictures and our adult children coped after the initial surprise. 😊 Would recommend this place.

If you dreamed of staying in a French farmhouse in the countryside while having all the modern conveniences look no further. There are not enough pictures to do the property justice complete with a lake, ducks, pastures, cows, local old church while being close to all the historic sites you go to Normandy to see. The host is superb. Met us at the door of the property even though she had worked all day as a nationally certified D Day guide. Everything in the house was new, clean, comfortable, and easy to use. The interior is amazing with wooden beams and tastefully decorated keeping with the French country aesthetic. Our stay was great and kept getting better every day as we noticed more and more amazing nuances that really enriched our visit. We could not have imagined a better visit, a better location, or a better host.

Great location if you are driving and want to visit the Normandy beaches. The house is exceptional and the kitchen facilities are superb. Will definitely be back.

Great stay! House was just as described and in the perfect location it was very secure with gated access. Nelly is a fantastic host, very quick to respond to messages and greeted us on arrival to show us around. Nice touch to include some DVDs, we had a few evenings watching the classic war films provided. Rooms were spacious and the beds were very comfortable, kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could possibly need to cook any meal! 5 mins walk to the beach/town which has a safe atmosphere, great bakery for morning croissants Clair de Lune (5 Bd Gilbert Longuet) and very friendly pub The Mary Celeste (5 Rue Colonel René Michel) for an evening drink. Ideal location to visit the Normandy D-Day beaches and museum due to it central location on Gold Beach all others are less than an hour’s drive (Juno Beach 20 mins, Omaha 30mins, Sword Beach 40 mins, Utah 50 mins) and the lovely town of Bayeux only 15 mins away, where there is a large supermarket and the famous tapestry.

Het huisje ligt op beloopbaar afstand van de zee en centrum van Arromanche. Het huisje was erg schoon en keurig opgeruimd. Wij waren daar voor het bijwonen van Dday. Daarvoor ligt het huisje ook mooi centraal gelegen, tussen de landingstranden. Florence reageerde heel snel op een berichtje. Kortom een aanrader.

Nous avons passée une excellente semaine dans ce logement. L'ensemble correspondait aux photos, que ce soit l'intérieur ou la vue reposante sur la mer. La literie est de qualité et le logement vaut le prix demandé. L'hôte s'est montrée discrète tout au long du séjour (sauf si nous avions besoin par message), nous l'avons juste rencontré pour la remise des clés avant notre départ. Elle est aimable et souriante. Nous recommandons fortement ce logement ou nous reviendrons si nous avons l'occasion de passer en Normandie.

Es war alles perfekt und von Florence perfekt organisiert. Vielen Dank dafür :-) Die Kommunikation verlief völlig unproblematisch. Ich möchte 2 Kleinigkeiten anmerken, die aber nicht zum Sterneabzug führen, weil ich mich unglaublich wohl gefühlt habe und gerne länger geblieben wäre. Ich habe keine Unterbringungsmöglichkeit für die Kleider gefunden. Ich fand es auch schade, dass ich nicht auf dem Parkplatz der Residenz parken konnte. Ich hatte verstanden, ein privater Parkplatz stehe zur Verfügung. Vielen Dank für das Willkommensgeschenk!! Ich habe den leckeren Cidre abends auf der herrlichen Terasse genossen :-)

I honestly cannot say enough good things about Milene’s place. It was so clean, just as pictured, plenty of coffee, comfortable beds. We could not have found a better place to stay. Conveniently and centrally located with great restaurants and attractions nearby. I would totally recommend!!

Le gite est parfait : Très bon accueil. Gite calme. Pratique. Très bien situé. Fignolé pour être bien. Etc… Mes coups de cœurs : Le PORT 24/24 à 100 mètres du gîte. Un repas au Chalut ! Moins de 20 € le repas simple et complet. Du poisson frais dans l’assiette; de l’authentique partout et à voix haute. En face de la Criée. La cote 112 ! Ring de Caen . Sortie 10. Enorme bataille de chars & canons et fantassins en 44 ; les 8 grands panneaux explicatifs valent un bon livre de connaisseur ( ! ) Rue de Nesmond, en face de la Cathédrale de Bayeux. Le soir : admirez les tonalités de la cathédrale et surtout les vitraux qui changent de coloris chaque 5 mn pendant 2 heures au couchant. En mangeant quelconque mais très bien placé en face de l’édifice à ce moment. La vieille église de Thaon. Et son ruisseau double avec une rando au milieu !... Une tartelette normande dans la pâtisserie l’Epi du port = une tuerie ! ***Le point de vue en haut de Port en Bessin*** : escaladez la rue du Phare.

LE MEILLEUR logement que nous avons fait ☺️ Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans ce logement très propre, bien aménagé et parfaitement fonctionnel. Il y avait absolument tout le nécessaire et même plus, pour se sentir comme chez soi. Le lit est très confortable et la vue depuis l'appartement, donnant directement sur le port, est superbe. L’emplacement est idéal : à deux pas de la plage, avec de nombreux restaurants à proximité. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié Le Flot Bleu, une excellente adresse à découvrir. Le quartier est agréable, tout peut se faire à pied, et le stationnement est facile à proximité, ce qui est vraiment pratique. Sandrine a été très réactive, disponible et accueillante, ce qui a rendu notre séjour encore plus agréable. Nous recommandons ce logement sans hésiter et y reviendrons avec plaisir !

We had an incredible stay at this beachfront Airbnb! The location is absolutely unbeatable — you literally open the back gate and step right onto the sand. It was such a treat to wake up and be at the beach within seconds. The house itself was spotless and really well-equipped. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals, and the bathroom was stocked with all the essentials. The kids loved the dedicated room and play area — it made the whole stay even more relaxing for us. It’s hard to find a place that offers this kind of location and comfort at such great value. We’ll definitely be coming back again. Highly recommend!

Un vrai petit cocon, joliment décoré, avec une vue magnifique (les mouettes, les bateaux...) ! On a beaucoup apprécié le balcon/véranda où nous avons pris plaisir à prendre nos repas. L'appartement est très propre et très bien équipé. La literie est excellente, nous avons très bien dormi. On s'y sent comme à la maison. Beaucoup de choses à faire à proximité sans prendre la voiture. Nous avons pu recharger notre véhicule électrique juste devant la résidence, à l'extérieur, c'est très pratique. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez Delphine et Hervé, qui sont des hôtes très bienveillants.

Nous avons passé un merveilleux moment, une parenthèse magique dans un endroit cocooning et paisible. L’appartement est très calme et très bien réfléchi dans les moindres détails et accessoires. Merci Delphine pour ce joli moment.

Nous avons passé un séjour exceptionnel, l’appartement était impeccable, la résidence sécurisée et à deux pas de la plage et de restaurants ; Olivier a été très attentionné et nous a conseillé des activités à Villers que nous avons vraiment apprécié. Je recommande sans hésiter !

Le logement d’Anne est idéal. Il est tres bien situé, à proximité immédiate de la mer avec ses grandes plages. Il est décoré avec beaucoup de goût. C’est véritable petit cocon dans une des maisons emblématique du célèbre architecte Guimard. Merci Anne pour vos petites attentions, votre gentillesse et merci d’accepter avec confiance nos amis à quatre pattes.

Le logement proposé par David est tip top ! Le calme, une vue imprenable sur la mer, coucher de soleil depuis la "terrasse véranda", un emplacement à 20 minutes de Caen qui permet de profiter de la ville, de la campagne et des bords de mer ! Quoi dire d'autre ? Un hôte disponible, et pour finir, une déco sympa qui rajoute du charme à ce we en amoureux sur les plages de Normandie ! Les yeux fermés vous pouvez louer!

I stayed here for one night and Emmanuel was very friendly and welcoming. We received the keys right on time. The place is perfectly suitable for four people and only a 10-minute walk from the beach. Everything was clean and well-organized. The only issue was with the shower, which could be improved. Overall, a pleasant stay!

El apartamento es estupendo. Está bien equipado. Olivier ha sido muy atento y ha resuelto nuestras preguntas. El lugar es muy bonito y es un punto de partida ideal para visitar las playas del Desembarco y la parte de L,Havre. Muy cerca de la playa. Lo recomiendo 100%
