Sleeping at the sheep & a whole herd of horses.

Wake up to the view of the dining room of a herd of horses that live in freedom, 2 pigs who make their bed every night in front of the window and sometimes a sheep walks by. Closer to the pure things in life. Therefore, there is no WiFi and no TV. However, there is a large table to play games with each other and a lovely sofa to have a glass of wine together. Studio Pekelvisch consists of a simple space on the ground floor and a sleeping loft above. Compact, tough furnished with lots of old building materials. Our "Beautiful Love" used to be the horse stable belonging to the centuries-old farm we live in. This tastefully renovated and well-equipped house offers everything you need for a holiday in Friesland. Our family of 5 had enough space. You just feel comfortable here, just have to know that the house is a little outside of Pingjum. The contact with Matthijs was super friendly and direct. Overall, we can only recommend a stay.

Lovely spacious house with a lot of wood finish, nicely decorated with beautiful things and warm colors. Froukje is a top hostess who gave us a warm welcome and immediately offered an extra bike when she discovered that we only had 2 bikes with us while there were 3 of us. We had nice weather, so nice outside in the sun in our private garden.

We spent four wonderful days in the beautiful house. Everything was thought of and we lacked nothing. We were there with our parents and children and used the accommodation as a starting point for excursions in the area. Unfortunately, the weather did not allow us to use the beautiful terrace.
