Since fall 2019, the cottage has been shining above Flims at 1500 meters above sea level. 50 min from Zurich, end of the road, 1250m above Lake Walensee, usually above the clouds. Sitting directly on the ski slopes/hiking trails, bordered by forest. Tastefully renovated/furnished with designer pieces, with a private outdoor sauna, a sun-facing balcony, and all you need for the mountains: 2 mountain e-bikes, a ski-byke, snowshoes, sledges and a BBQ. Arvenbüel is known as a «Kraft-Ort», a place to recharge. After 7 years and 126 guests rating us 4.98, we think they're onto something.

Small Paradise above the Walensee

A beautiful old countryside home, lovely furnished in a paradise-like setting. The house is perfect for people who are looking to get a break from the big, loud world or would like to discover the beautiful Swiss mountains by foot. If you are coming by public transport you will need to hike one hour on a very beautiful hiking path (Weesen - Quinten). If you decide to come by car you will only need to hike 15min from the parking lot to the house. We highly recommend to wear good hiking shoes.

The apartment is surrounded by nature, away from the road, yet close to the village. There you will find shopping facilities such as Volg, Spar mini, bakery with coffee and also a restaurant. We also have an indoor pool, where you can enjoy the warm water on the bubble loungers and admire the mountains. The apartment has many toys, a TV with 7 days of replay. The kitchen is well equipped but without a dishwasher. From the living room and bedroom you can see the mountains and Lake Walen.

Your exclusive getaway with 360-degree views of Säntis/Lake Constance and yet so close to attractions such as St.Gallen/Appenzell. This 200-year-old Appenzell house towers high above Herisau AR and is lovingly called "GöttiFritz" by its owners. It shines authentically in a fantastic mountain and hill scenery – a true retreat for the soul.

Come and enjoy the fresh Swiss mountain air. Our well equipped, self contained apartment is a great place to spend some time away in either Summer or Winter. Our place is just a 2 minute drive to Oberterzen to catch the cable car up to Flumserberg for a great day of skiing, mountain biking or hiking. We are also only a 3 minute drive to Unterterzen to spend a beautiful summers day at the Walensee.
