Our home is welcoming back guests! The lake is still unusable but there is much to do in the area! Visit restaurants, wineries, orchards, breweries, hiking trails, waterfalls, zipline, UTV ride! We offer passes to Rumbling Bald golf resort. Situated in a cove with gorgeous lake and mountain views, you’ll love watching the sun set and wake up to coffee with a view! Idle Speed- The Ultimate Lake Lure Escape!

As of now, Lake Lure is not expected to be open for boating and/or swimming by summer 2025 as lake recovery and cleanup efforts are still ongoing. However, our home is good to go and ready to host. We have just reduced our rates and minimum booking nights to reflect the expected conditions. The house remains a wonderful place for gathering and creating memories. The lake and mountains are still as beautiful as ever. Thank you for your continued support of such a special small town.

Please read before booking! Lake Lure suffered extensive damage from Hurricane Helene on 9/28/24. This lake is drawn down and still has debris, but the house is fine. Debris removal continues daily but will be a long process. The rental price listed reflects this. Welcome to our fully remodeled modern cabin on Lake Lure! This house is essentially brand new, and is located right on the main channel of Lake Lure with HUGE mountain and lake views.
