This was my fourth time staying at Lost and Found over the last five years. Tucked slightly above the rest of Kalga, the location is peaceful and surrounded by beautiful views. The garden is beautifully maintained by Steffi, and they grow their own herbs and flowers, which go into the most delicious teas. The food is homemade, nourishing, and prepared with so much love. What truly makes this place special are the hosts — Pulkit, Anirudh, and Steffi — who bring such genuine warmth and care to everything they do. I’ve shared unforgettable treks and heartfelt conversations with them, and genuinely felt like family in their company. I just love these guys — it’s hard to put into words, it’s a feeling… and I like to keep it that way. <3 As a host myself, I know how much effort goes into creating a space like this — and they do it so naturally. I recommended for anyone looking to experience Kalga in a heartfelt and quiet way.

Amazing and the most breathtaking view, the view of the waterfall and hills is heavenly. Amazing breakfast every morning. Excellent communication and local recommendations. It’s a perfect little paradise.

We had a lovely stay at the lodge. It was perfect for our ski trip - being close to the mountains and convenient for ski rentals. The team made it easy for us throughout our stay including getting to and leaving the area. The common area was cozy and perfect to relax in during bad weather.

A very good cottage in a amazing garden. Very nice people, good breakfast and a wonderful countryside nearby. Mrs. Le is a very kompetent Landlady, who is Always friendly and helpful. The cooking service was great, we got a very tasty original vietnamese dinner. All the best for Mrs. Le and her Family!

Amanda is a warm host and she made sure we have the best of everything. The location is excellent. Would highly recommend.

I absolutely love the place. It's at a great location with a sea view room and a balcony. The staff is lovely, very helpful, kind, and friendly. I would stay there again.

We had a 2 day stay at Ishwor’s place! (One day initially, extended for one more since we instantly fell in love with it.) The place is carefully crafted to suit and nourish your soul! Right from wholesome satvik breakfast, their sound healing sessions, beautiful scenery and the stillness in the atmosphere. The host was very kind to give us an early check in and also catered for our transfer from the bus stop. Not only that, he helped us book our flight tickets to Kathmandu and he also recommended some great suggestions and places in Pokhara. The staff was like a family. If you are looking for a soulful getaway, this place is MOST recommended!!!

Couldn’t recommend this place enough! It is a perfect retreat away from the busy roads and was a great place to relax and recharge for the week. The view from the balcony is beautiful and we felt right at home. The staff were all so lovely and the breakfast and coffee was delicious. Thanks again!

A lovely place to relax and enjoy the mountain view, with a great cafe next door. Kim was really helpful- we hope to come back and scale the mountain one day.

My wife and I were yearning for a peaceful weekend getaway from the hustle bustle of Bangalore city life, and Chandan's cottage offered what we dreamed of. Nestled deep in the lush forest, this hideaway offered a rare and magical connection with nature. The large glass windows framed breathtaking views of trees swaying gracefully in the wind and shimmering under the gentle rain, creating a living painting. The balcony is a tranquil spot where you can soak in the soothing sights and sounds of the surrounding forest. Throughout our stay, the symphony of the forest- birds chirping, insects stridulating- kept us delightfully guessing about the mysterious creatures around us. Every corner of the place reflects the care and love poured into its creation. Thank you Chandan and team, for sharing your beautiful slice of paradise with us!

A nice decent room for the price you have to pay. Really nice views and not that hard to reach. The host was helpful.

The homestay was absolutely lovely in all the ways we wanted :) The home itself is gorgeous, full of lots of natural light, beautiful creepers and is quiet all around. The food made by aunty was very tasty, Ragi was very friendly, and everyone was very warm in opening up their home to us. Deeply appreciate Arjun's prompt communication and his being such a generous and respectful host. Wish we could have stayed for longer, but even so, it was great to spend a day here!

It was an overnight and a short time, but I had a pleasant stay.The host is in the Netherlands and the staff is English-speaking, but I was able to communicate to a certain extent even if I didn't speak much English.Everyone was friendly. I heard that there are many customers from overseas, but I think it is also an opportunity to interact with overseas people while staying in Japan, so I thought it would be good for Japanese people who don't speak much English.

This was the highlight of our vacation. Absolutely peaceful and beautiful. Jackie also arranged for us a beautiful private tour to nearby islands. Loved!

We had a wonderful stay at Neelansh Resort, Sonprayag—an ideal place to begin or conclude the Kedarnath Yatra. The property is strategically located near the trek starting point (car parking area), making it very convenient for pilgrims. The rooms were clean, spacious, and well-equipped with all the listed amenities. Our stay was peaceful and serene. The natural beauty of the surroundings is truly captivating—it effortlessly melts away all the fatigue. The food served was delicious, homely, and comforting, adding to the overall experience. Suraj was exceptionally helpful and responsive, assisting us in planning our onward journey. Overall, it was a pleasant and memorable stay. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area.

Beautiful place next to a pond. The house is big but still very cozy and super-clean! The onsen part is spacious and still private. Hosts were always available and very friendly. Little Poodle Prince made us feel like at home! When you visit during non-Winter time be sure to ask for Kuromoji - excellent tea plant! We highly recommend the place and should we ever go back to Japan, we shall stay at Naomi's and Nori's place again!

I spent 10 wonderful days here – and the time truly flew by. This place is absolutely magical. Surrounded by nature, peace, and a unique energy that immediately slows you down. I was able to truly relax and let my soul unwind. Natalie and everyone working here are genuinely kind-hearted people – warm, helpful, and full of care. They really left a lasting impression on me and made my stay even more special. I would definitely come back. What a truly magical place. The photographs of Mount Abode are lovely but I don't think any image will do the place justice. It is a really peaceful retreat away from busy Rishikesh with the most beautiful view of the Shivalik Himalayas that will take your breath away. Waking up and opening your curtains to watch the sunrise behind the mountains from bed is so special. This is a really quiet place. No noise. No traffic sounds. No hectic energy. No crowds. There is no wifi and I had no signal personally. For me, this was completely perfect and a welcome break from any distractions. If you're looking for a peaceful retreat in nature in the most beautiful surroundings - look no further. The food is delicious - simple, sattvic and made with love. You will be well-fed 3 times a day and also the chef makes delicious Chai! Yash is very warm, welcoming and accommodating. He is also a fantastic yoga teacher so hopefully you get a morning practice with him. A beautiful dream stay.

A nice place to stay that has a private bathroom and a shared kitchen. The beach was nice with some decent coral and some nice waves at high tide! Convenient to the Hagimit Falls and close to the barge.

The home stay was great for the price, location it was set in. The staff was super sweet and Ashish was always available and checking in, felt like home. The best part is the quality of the stay, the rooms were so well done up, not something you would expect given how secluded the location is of the place (access can be a good reason to be limited but this place is anything but limited) we had all kinds of provisions for us - food, kettle, towels, toiletries, the mattress was so good! The rooms were so cosy. It’s frankly too good to be to true but well it is. I think the only possible downside to the place is the location- it’s very very very good if you are 1. Looking for solitude because it takes you completely away from the hustle, you are in the middle of nature, no noise, no disturbances just you and nature 2. Are planning the Triund trek and need a transit place to stay. If you are looking to stroll in the market, this place is not for you. The untarred road can kill your back

It is recommended to arrange at least 3 days and 2 nights to enjoy the tranquility of the slow life. The cottage is clean, warm! It was very well equipped, saving us a lot of things! None of the condiments were expired either!! The guidebook the host gave was great and provided so much to do!It was also very quick to respond! 2 black dogs are also so cute and well behaved♡ Big hill behind the cottage with the sea in front! At high tide, the whole view looks fake!Beautiful enough♡ This three-day rainy day, saw a different view, listening to the sound of the waves on the platform at night, charcoal fire to warm up a drink and chat, very unforgettable.
