To get here, you need a car. Parking for several cars. Our water in the well is our own well, so the taste can vary if it is dry or wet in the hill. The Twin Cottage from the 18th century is situated in a small hamlet with grazing animals and foot paths in the surrounding forest and fields. We have 45 km to Vimmerby and Astrid Lindgren’s world. The area of ‘Bråbygden’ is known for it rich flora and well kept fields. Bråhultesjön, 6 km from us, is a nice lake for bathing. Twin Cottage is like old times attatched house. We live in one part of the house and you rent the other. The garden is a fine place to enjoy evenings. Warmly welcome!

I närheten finns Vimmerby, 4,5 mil, där Astrid Lindgrens värld är ett populärt resmål. Närmaste badplats finns ca 6 km bort. Det finns möjlighet att hyra sängkläder 100 kr/ säng och handdukar 50 kr/ handduksset. Hyresgästen städer själv vid utcheckning. Tjänsten går att köpa för 1000 kr.

The area is called Dragskär. The "island" is connected to the mainland via a small natural pier and short bridge. Road goes all the way to the house. Here starts the marvellous east coast archipelago. From the big 20 sqm sun lounge/patio you have a direct splendid view of a small bay in the Baltic sea.

Welcome to beautiful Västervik! The house of 30 sqm contains a fully equipped kitchen, a full bathroom with shower, Bedroom with 2 beds and sleeping loft for 2 people. Pillows, duvets, bed linen and towels are included in the price. Of course, there is TV, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth speakers. Bicycles are available to borrow, it is only about 10 min to Västervik Resort and about 15 minutes to the city center. Note: The house has been expanded in 2025 to get to a proper bedroom.
