There is nothing that you cannot find in Atsipopoulo nowadays, as it has all kinds of shops, supermarkets, ATM, tavernas and bus station. The apartment is ideal for people who want a quiet place to relax. Furthermore it is a great base for making excursions around Crete as the main national road is only 2 minutes away.

The Cretan traditional culture is the heart of the design’s house which is combined with a modern style. Houses in Atsipopoulo were constructed in close distance so as to form a fortification wall. This way the inhabitants were protected by pirates and other enemies. This traditional architecture is preserved till today as most houses were renovated.

we were welcomed by Nikos, who led us to the apartment, the apartment is clean compact and ideal for two people. In the morning, the sun rises on your balcony, which you can shield with a screen that you can roll out across the entire front and sit comfortably there. In a residential area among the locals. Rythimo is easy to reach, and a car is indispensable if you want to see some of the surroundings. There was no coffee maker present, only a pot to make Greek coffee. Nikos solved this by setting up a device at our request. The bed slept nicely, a box spring with enough clean bedding, in short, we had a nice holiday.

Book this! Amalen Suites (only 5 for the entire property) is in the perfect spot! Close to everything but at night quiet and extremely secure! My favorite part of my stay was the staff that ran Amalen! Thank you so much Maria, Jakob, Tolis, and Josie!!! Everyone was so so so kind and gave amazing recommendations for my stay. The breakfast served every morning was phenomenal as well!!! Oh and! My all time favorite products are used at this location (Olive Era) so I was able to buy some bottles to take home too. And because I was traveling alone they checked in with me everyday and made sure I was safe during my stay which means a lot! I truly had an amazing time at this hotel and highly highly HIGHLY RECOMMEND for couples that are traveling through Crete. The city in which Amalen is located is large and can be tough to find parking all of the time so I also did love that this was close to many restaurants, shops, IG worthy cute alleys and a 2 minute walk to the ocean. Thank you!!

My stay at the Domus Suite was excellent! The place was super clean, and the kitchen was fully stocked with what I needed. In addition, fruit, traditional sweetness, juices and wine were waiting for me, a kind move I greatly appreciated. The bed was particularly comfortable, with an excellent mattress, ensuring a quality sleep. The suite garden was the perfect place for me to relax at any time of the day. The neighborhood was quiet and safe and on foot, I was able to visit traditional taverns in Atsipopoulo. There were also beautiful beaches at only ten minutes from the suite by road. My hosts were extremely friendly and provided me with useful information about the city of Rethymno and about the sights of the area. Thank you so much for the wonderful hospitality and I look forward to coming back again!

Our stay at this house was absolutely amazing! The home is spacious, beautifully designed, and fully equipped for a relaxing and comfortable holiday. The outdoor area was a real highlight – perfect for morning coffee, sunbathing, or enjoying a peaceful evening under the stars. Everything was spotless and well-maintained. The atmosphere of the house made us feel immediately at home. Stavros was a wonderful host. He welcomed us personally with a short tour of the house during check-in and gave us many helpful local tips. On top of that, he generously provided us with fresh fruit and other essentials, which was such a thoughtful touch.

We had a great holiday at Myrjam’s house! It’s an spacious, bright place, fully equiped and carefully decorated at the heart of Atsipopoulo, a very quiet town close to Rethymno. Myrjam has always been attentive, kind and respectful to us, offering herself to whatever we migth need. Our daugther enjoyed a lot playing with the cats in the garden. We’ll keep wonderful memories from our stay there!
