We felt instantly at home here. The house was spotless and fully equipped and lots of lovely touches that just added to the experience. The surrounding areas were great for walking and we had a really nice time. More exploring around the UK and The World , but yes we will be back.

3 Railway Cottage is a fantastic base to explore the amazing beauty of North Yorkshire. The cottage is located a 20 minute walk from the centre of Pickering but is in a really quiet and private location. The only exception of course is the opportunity to wave at the heritage railway trains that pass at the back of the cottage a few times a day which is really amazing, especially if you wave from the comfort of the hot tub! I can’t recommend this location highly enough, it is a really comfortable and well equipped cottage in a fantastic location - what more could you ask for?

We had a fantastic stay here for 4 nights. It was beautifully clean and had everything and more we needed. Such lovely hosts, very responsive should you need them. Great location! Such an easy drive to a lot of places. We visited Whitby, Scarborough, Pickering, Thornton Le Dale and more! All under 1 hours drive away. Cottage is so homely and very welcoming 😊 Amazing that each room has their own en-suite. Beds are so comfy! Downstairs bedroom was great for us with someone in the party having mobility issues. Games room is a fabulous touch! Sauna and hot tub both very clean. Highly recommend to stay here. Thanks for a wonderful stay 🥰

Lovely cottage in a great location. Walking the surrounding area from the house was great and very near to a pub and tearoom which both served great food. The hot tub was an added bonus!

We were lucky enough to stay at the Nook this weekend and couldn’t have asked for more. Wayne and Dave are so thoughtful with the attention to detail for guests to enjoy and really go the extra mile with thoughtful treats on arrival and ensuring you have everything you need. Really enjoyable stay. Everything was perfect, and I would return if I were back in the area. The location was peaceful, private, and surrounded by beautiful nature — exactly what I was hoping for. The space was spotless, cozy, and thoughtfully designed, with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable and relaxing getaway.

Lovely relaxing cottage with everything we needed. Very cosy and relaxing setting with great views from back windows. Enclosed garden for dog or children. Hot tub was a great perk which was well used by us. Rillington village within 10 min walk which had a small shop and a nice pub ( the fleece). Tips for other travellers The fleece in rillington has a nice garden of weather nice and the food was nice too and dog friendly Ham and cheese which is a 5 minute drive the food was very good and dog friendly too although probably too far to walk Lots of walks nearby, we went to dalby Forrest, mallyham spout in goathland and Levisham near Pickering New Connie’s Chinese in malton was also very good

We had the most beautiful stay — the cottage was peaceful, private, and instantly felt like home. Everything was spotless and smelt amazing, with such a lovely, calming vibe throughout. The decor was gorgeous, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. The hot tub was the perfect finishing touch for a truly relaxing weekend. The hosts went above and beyond with thoughtful details like fresh eggs in the morning and chocolates waiting for us on arrival. Communication was smooth and friendly from start to finish. You can really feel the care and effort put into every part of the stay. I’d absolutely recommend this place — it’s a little gem, and I’d love to return!

Excellent stay in Pickering, the house is exactly as described and more! Very well equipped and a real home from home. It is on one of the main roads but as others have said the thoughtful ear plugs made all the difference and we had no problem finding parking every day. This is a fantastic base for exploring the local area. Highly recommended

Great location with supermarkets, pubs and restaurants in easy walking distance. A few minutes drive to Bridlington, Bempton and Flamborough Lighthouse. Comfortable cottage with everything you would need for a week’s stay. Flowers, biscuits and wine a nice touch on arrival.

We had a lovely few days at Dan's cottage in Leavening. It was exactly as described - a lovely cottage in a peaceful village. The kids loved overlooking the hills with the sheep through the big top window and everywhere we wanted to visit (Whitby, Goathland, The Dales) were all easy to get to from here. Thanks again - hope to visit again soon!

Warm and comfortable cottage. It was obvious the Jenny had given a lot of thought into how the cottage was set up. The kitchen had all the basics needed for preparing meals. Tea, coffee and some nice biscuit and a welcome bottle of wine. The lounge was cosy and there were files of useful information about the house and the local area. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom had lots of essentials, the shower was great and lots of hot water….there was also a bath. We had taken our bikes and it was great to have a summer house to store them in. The area was really quiet. We really enjoyed our weeks stay.

Lovely place to stay. Peaceful and cosy. The most beautiful outside space. Would highly recommend.

Martin was very quick to respond when there was a problem with the TV. He sorted a replacement within a few hours.

Jennifer’s place Derwent House East Wing is the perfect location if you want a peaceful and charming stay. More than you could wish for a quiet area with some restaurants and convenience store a very short walk away and a short drive to the coast and more beautiful surroundings. The bed was super comfy and the lounge just delightful. The added bonus of some walks from the back garden gate too. Would highly recommend and would definitely book again.

Lovely cottage which we found to be spacious, comfortable and well equipped. The beds were especially comfortable and we appreciated the rainfall shower in the main bathroom and the spacious and well-equipped kitchen. The back garden was secure which was good for us as we were travelling with our 3 dogs. The cottage is situated on a busy main road so we did notice some traffic noise during our stay. The host Dawn sent us clear check-in instructions in good time and was very responsive. There was also a folder with useful information in the cottage. We would definitely choose to stay here again if travelling to the area and wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

We have thoroughly enjoyed an all too brief, relaxing stay at Tarrs Yard. From entering the charming cottage, to leaving, one can't fail to be impressed by all that Lizzie and Andy have so stylishly created. The helpful, informative folder inside the cottage provides for guests' range of interests and enables visitors to capitalise on the hosts' wealth of knowledge and experience of the area. We can't wait to return and anticipate discovering more of what this area affords, whilst assured of a restful, peaceful property to daily return to. Thank you to you both for our introduction to North Yorkshire.

We had a most enjoyable stay at Milo Cottage. Joanne had thought of everything and the place was spotless. Plenty of cutlery and crockery and everything you needed in the kitchen. Living room was cosy and relaxing. The bed in the main bedroom was extremely comfortable with beautiful bed crisp white bedlinen. An advantage was being able to walk to the local pub in the evening for dinner which was very tasty traditional pub food. A very relaxing stay exploring the area. Joanne was a perfect host. We would definitely like to come back.

We really enjoyed our long-weekend stay at Angie's. It was very private, cosy and well equipped with comfortable spaces, including beds and lovely linen. All the instructions were helpful and we were grateful to have all the excellent kitchen amenities in particular.. We enjoyed the remote location because there was good access to nearby towns. We used Malton for our EV car charging. The countryside was beautiful and there was plenty to see and do. We used an online app for information about local walks but there was information in a folder in the chalet too. lovely stay- thank you :-)

We had a fantastic stay at this property! The location was absolutely perfect for attending the wedding venue, making everything incredibly convenient. The host was so welcoming and met us upon arrival, which was a lovely touch. The property itself was spotlessly clean and had everything we could possibly need for a comfortable stay. The thoughtful welcome hamper filled with treats was a bonus and made us feel right at home. We would highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone needing accommodation for an event at the nearby venue or anyone looking for a clean, well-equipped, and conveniently located place to stay.

Nice accommodation. Well located for the coast and local golf courses. Off road parking was a bonus.

Stayed at The Haven for two nights with our three year old daughter. Great location, close to Honeysuckle Farm which our little one loved and within walking distance of the beach. The house was beautifully decorated, spotless and had everything we needed, including plastic plates and cups and a bed guard for our daughter. Parking was super close and convenient. The beds were comfy - even our little one (who is usually up by 6am) stayed in hers and enjoyed a lie-in! Dawn was very responsive and lovely, even when we were daft enough to put the wrong code into the key box despite very clear instructions! Thank you for a lovely stay Dawn, we would certainly love to come back!

Absolutely loved staying at Stumble Cottage, it was like a perfect home from home. Judith is a great host and the communication was excellent! I would definitely stay here again
