If you are ever in the Manistique are, do not hesitate to book Travis’s place! This was our first trip to the UP, and wow, what a perfect place to stay! The most relaxing house and location I have ever stayed, this property - right on Lake Michigan - was perfect!

Beautiful eco-friendly stay. Peace and quiet, just what we needed for the weekend away! Everything was very clean and the check out process was clearly listed in the entryway. The atmosphere was tucked away in the woods, we went in the spring so lots of crickets and frogs humming at night - my kids loved to look in the little pond with flashlights. If you love the outdoors you will love Jenny’s place. PS Fayette state park was so breath taking and a short drive from the location. We made our way to marquette for lunch during the stay as well. Plenty to plan for.

Theresa’s place was very spacious and welcoming. We had a cat visit us at night, which gave us some unexpected and sweet company while we star-gazed. The fireplace added so much to the aesthetic warm, cozy, and picture-perfect. It was also really nice to have a private area to relax in; it made the whole experience feel even more peaceful and special. Theresa herself was incredibly responsive and caring, which made our stay even more enjoyable and stress-free.

One of my favorite stays of all time. Beautiful, clean, charming house with high end amenities. We enjoyed the view of the lake and took advantage of the outdoor space - grill, fire pit. Nice space to read and relax inside too. The beds were comfy and everything was extremely clean. I can’t wait to return. Thanks, Susan!

Cute little studio! Clean! Great communication with hosts! Useful guide of places you can’t miss. Stores and restaurants nearby (you don’t need your vehicle at all!). Things to improve: I would have loved to count on a portable electric hot plate.

Truly a lovely stay!! Not only is the apartment well decorated, functionally, and home to the comfiest couch I’ve ever sat on - it’s also very conveniently located to a lot of UP highlights and walkable to the very cute main business district of Manistique. You can see the effort Ashley puts into creating thoughtful touches - an easy to grab bag of beach supplies, well stocked coffee station, etc. I would absolutely choose to stay again.

This is a nice, rustic, second floor apartment overlooking Lake Superior with a slightly obstructed view. It’s a unique, colorful do it yourself project with lots of recycled materials (in a good way). The only drawback is that the bedroom windows face the main road, which can get busy with trucks and cars around 6 AM. Good earplugs are useful if you’re a light sleeper. They do provide a white noise machine, which we did not use. It’s also very convenient to the business section and the dock.

This was the perfect base for our quick trip to explore pictured rocks. Easy to get to the park and easy walk to anything in town!

We loved staying in Manistique!! It was our first time there! Great Airbnb with a great location right on the Main Street of town! We got great recommendations from Jill on some restaurants. We also thought we left something behind and she was even quick to say she found it and is mailing it to us! The locals were all very nice and recommended some spots to check out like Oswald’s Bear Ranch. We will definitely be back and would love to stay here again!

Bonnie is a lovely hostess, gracious and kind in every way! She is very responsive and quick to return with an answer when needed. When we go in town we will definitely be staying at Bonnie’s place. If you’re looking for a quiet and relaxing place that showers you with the counts of the water this is the place for you! The condo was a 10/10 and the responsiveness of the host makes it an easy 11/10. Would absolutely rent again!
