For a stay in Normandy, this is the ideal rental, located between Mont St Michel, St-Malo on one side and the landing beaches, Caen, Deauville, Etretat etc. on the other. Philippe welcomed us upon our arrival with kindness, a small bottle of cider in the fridge as a welcome. He listened to us in relation to what we wanted to visit and sent us good detailed addresses throughout our stay on the different visits and dining places and various things to do in the area. We were pleasantly surprised by the little community there and especially the restaurant when we arrived rather late. Our hosts were very accommodating and pleasant. We would definitely rebook.

Valérie’s place was exceptional! Every little detail was beautifully catered for from the quality linen to the yummy French teas and coffee pods. The gite was great, it was very clean with plenty of space and a well equipped kitchen. The countryside location is lovely. It is conveniently located for visiting D day beaches and Bayeux and easy to get to Caen ferry port. Veronique and Thierry were very welcoming and quick to respond to any queries we had. We had a very enjoyable and relaxing stay and wish we could have stayed longer!

Amazing place to stay, lovely owner and beautiful and peaceful surroundings. Relatively close to a lot of touristic sites if you are by car. Would love to stay another time, we enjoyed our time here so much!

It is very close to all Normandy historical attractions yet the property is tucked away in a small village that is quiet and peaceful. We had a short but truly lovely stay! A perfect place for our family--we could all spread out a bit after a week sharing hotel rooms. Loved the location--the views were charming. Proximity to Bayeux was excellent--less than a five minute drive to the town center parking lots. Very clean, clear instructions, and thoughtfully stocked kitchen (though we didn't cook!). Mr. QUESNEL is a welcoming, friendly and respectful host. He informed us about the different shops and the festivities nearby. The house is well-equipped, comfortable and very pleasant to live in. We had a great time with the family. A stay to be repeated without hesitation.

We stayed here as it was central to all the places we wanted to visit. The D day beaches and museums. Marion was very nice and helpful. The house is beautifully decorated and has everything you need. It was very quite and peaceful there. The local town is only 10 minutes away were there are some nice restaurants and bakeries. We would go back again.
